Assistant store manager would not let my order be picked up, stated authorized user wasnt present. Also kept saying over and over again the they dont take credit cards over the phone. I placed the order over the phone with office depot, order was paid and they told me whoever brought the email could pick it up. Assistant store manager made it his mission to make this as difficult as possible. I called corporate who called the store and he again refused to release my order. I told them to cancel, he says he cant cancel over the phone but i can send my unauthorized user back to the store and they can cancel. So not authorized to pick up my order but is authorized to cancel? Will never shop here again. Tried to purchase to keep other stores in business but I guess Ill just go back to online shopping where my order is delivered in 2 days with no issues.

Check out staff was extremely rude and unprofessional to customers on Oct 9, 2021. Did Office Depot ever train your employees on topics related to diversity, and inclusion to avoid racial discriminations? Avoid at all cost and go to Staples please.

Just left there, was looking for ideas for a decent business card holder and Lisa, a worker there helped me and I said thank you and we went our separate ways, she then went all over the store looking for something else and bringing us options and ideas. My experience was very poor. Not a single person attempted to help me or even bothered to speak to me. I then waited at the empty copy center for about quite a while. When no one came to help or offer their services, I left. And no one seemed to care about that either. This was at 5:45 in the afternoon, not closing time. I’ll never shop there again.

What I had to get was easy so I didnt need help. Checking out was easy and fast too. There were people in the store but, it was hardly noticable due to the size of the store.

I love shopping here! They have just about anything you can think of for an office from desks to push pins. They carry two kinds of ink pens I cant find anywhere else. I absolutely love these pens, Tul and Uniball Air! The prices on some things can be rather expensive (its a specialty store) but then at times they run sales that have really great deals!

Since office max closed, office depots print services being the only other full service choice, are poorly managed. Its almost like the people they put in the print area either arent trained properly or dont care. This would honestly be a 1star but they showed signs of improvement today. The young lady behind the counter was courteous and helpful. Usually the person there is rude and short.

Kenneth is the person helping me. He seems to know the job but DOESNT know customer service. I give more than just my product to my customers in my business transactions, I also give good customer service. I expect the same from business I patronize. He has interrupted the work hes supposed to be doing for me, to deal with two different other customers; no Do you mind if I finish this with him? Do you mind if I help this other person? And lastly he just left to go do I dont know what about running out of paper???? AND he cant see or hear. I held my tongue throughout the entire ordeal until the very end when he couldnt spell my last name correctly despite my repeating it multiple times, louder and louder each time until I was intentionally yelling at him. I still never asked him what his problem was or educated him about customer service as I so wanted to do. I would suggest Patrick the store manager, make a point of addressing the importance of and providing training for customer service. I dont know if I was being discriminated against but Kenneth and I are different from each other; different everything. The people he chose to rudely interrupt my transaction with at least visibly had more in common with Kenneth than I did. The next person may not handle this situation the same way.

This is a clean well organized store. The staff is friendly and stops to ask if you need help finding anything. Their public restrooms a clean and well maintained. I have also used their buy online for in-store pickup service.

Happy Sunday my loves. I have to give a huge shoutout to Meredith at Office Depot in Hickory, NC. I had a check payment from a client in my back pocket and in the process of me removing my cellphone which was also in same pocket, the check fell out. Unbeknownst to me that I dropped payment, seeing as I had already left store. She telephoned me and left a message that check was picked up and put in safe and was ready for me to pick up at my earliest convenience. Meredith even phoned my client whose info was on check to try and get a hold of me.*That’s Customer Service at its finest!THANKS SO MUCH MEREDITH💛

Really disappointing, I wanted to purchase 4 chairs for our game table. I went on line and found 2 different chairs at a great price but they were not available on line? I called the closest store to us and he said he could order them for me but I would have to come by there store. This store was about 40 - 45 min away, when I got there they were out of both the chairs and tried selling me different ones. Not a big fan of them right now, they wasted my time!

Store personnel were helpful and courteous. My issue is with the fact that an item advertised by Office Depot as being on sale starting today was not in stock. There was a sign saying that the item could be ordered and sent to the store with free shipping. When I talked to store personnel, they looked the item up and it is not available at all! If this were the case, why advertise the item? If this is part of the Office Depot business model, they will follow Office Max in closing all stores!

So clean! Found a big selection of what I wanted. No reduced inventory. Helpful staff.

Wheres the help? Up front goofing off. I came in here to buy a ledger and a journal. The guy directed me to the area but when I turned around to ask a question, he was gone and no where to be found. Customers were wondering aimlessly around the store until they found what they needed. No help anywhere for anyone. I found my ledger but wanted a different journal and Im sure they had them elsewhere because Ive seen them in other office supply stores. I headed to the front of the store, when I saw 3 employees up there chatting away, I put my stuff down and walked out. Im sure theres another store that needs my business or my money.

I went to Office Depot and bought a computer, a flash drive, and QuickBooks in an attempt to set up my office computer for my small business. They did not have the computer in stock. Normally not a problem. They ordered the computer and gave me a delivery date. Delivery date came and went with no computer. The next day I called the delivery company to find out they did not yet have possession of the computer. Office dopots solution to this problem was to cancel my order with a chance to reorder. They gave me one day to decide whether or not to cancel in which I would have to call and pay for the second computer while at the same time giving me 3-5 days before my funds would be returned to my bank account. So I would have to have paid for 2 computers without having received any of them. Moral is, if they dont have it in the store dont buy it.

Office Depot is the place to shop for ink and school supplies. Yes I said school supplies. They already have great sales gooing on for those supplies your children will be needing.

Some of the worst customer service Ive ever received. I dont usually complain about this sort of thing but not once, three times, I ran into awful customer service and in one trip to the store, to boot. Will be taking my business elsewhere from now on.

I bought an office chair from the Office Depot website. On the website it says 7 to 10 business days free shipping. I placed my order on March the 6th. AFTER I placed my order I got the email conformation and then I read expect shipment on March the 20th. So already it is over 7 to 10 business days. March the 20th arrives and still my order has not arrived to my door. I send them an email and I get told that my product was on back order and I would not be able to expect my item until early April. I feel on back order should of appeared on the website and the 7 to 10 business days shipping should of been removed. Who wants to buy an item that takes over a month to ship when you can go to any other carrier and have your product at your door in a week? My shopping experience has been very poor with Office Depot and I do not recommend anyone buying anything online.

The merchandise was well-organized, the sales clerks were heloful, and the cashier even carried my purchased item out to my car for me!

Office Depot employee in Hickory NC sold me a defective router extender, not telling me when I bought it about a new corporate policy implemented just this week that OD would not accept any returns until April 20. I found out when I drove 30 minutes back to the store to exchange it 3 hours after I purchased it. How about disclosing this information up front to your paying customers Office Depot?

If i could have given this zero stars I most definatly would have!!! Thisvis the slowest office depot Ive ever been to! I had to print off a single piece of paper and instead of the MANAGER giving me the paper and letting me go since it was a simple task she instead shredded 2 trash bags of paper. I literally sat there for 45 mins to print off one paper! As a manager I expect nothing but the best customer service from her. I will never come here again.

I was blatently lied to by the Office Depot staff, FedEx, and the FedEx computer at the Office Depot location. I shipped 2 packages that I was told would arrive at their location on 6/28 and now Im told that they will not arrive untill later past the deadline. I was also told that FedEx would pick up the packages yesterday and now Im told they will not be picked up untill tommorow... This must be remedied immediately!!!!!!!!!
