As I was shopping I heard, I’m guessing the manager, tell 2 Spanish women that if they didn’t keep their kids beside them then they had to leave. One of them had just walked in. I understand that we should always keep our children with us but the way he talked to those women was extremely rude. He could have said it nicer! He was loud as well. I will not return to this store. It used to be so much better.

Theres no longer a bargain to be found at Bargain Hunt. The prices are just as high or higher than the stores the stuff came from. When they first opened, they Aptos have these awesome sales, selling things from $2 - $10! Shoes and boots were cute and cheap. Everything! More mostly people go in walk around, dont buy anything or may buy a few things abs leave. The thing is your supposed to get a BARGAIN! DONT FEEL LIKE IT ANYMORE.

Ok store....needs comparable prices and better merchandising skills

The prices were great. The products are plentiful and the cashiers are very friendly. I will be going back many times.

I love shopping at Bargin Hunt. I misplaced my keys while I was there. I returned to the store & the employees was so nice helping to find my keys. Did not find them but left my info. About an hour later one of the employees, Carrie, found them & even brought them to my house after her shift ended. I am 83 & do not drive anymore. I big thank you to Carrie.

Always find something I cant live without

Well this place first opened it was amazing. It was all kinds of stuff and it changed weekly. Theres always a bunch of stuff that Im not really interested in everybody is different but they had name brand shoes like Nike Brooks Adidas new balance tons of shoes like that bicycles razor motorcycles and electric scooters. I dont know what happened to the supply chain but I know when everything shut down last year for the coronavirus I wasnt able to go in this store until later on in the year last year and nothing has been the same since Ive been in here about 5 or 6 times and the inventory hasnt changed they have tons of boxes of no name brand cheap shoes stacked up but hardly anything worth going in and buying. I wish they would get back to the old supply chain if theres any way to do it Im sure its something thats out of their hands but until then theres just not really a whole lot in here worth going in for

This place was very clean and had alot of stuff in stock. Be careful, I did find some items that were overpriced and could be cheaper purchased online.

They have so much to choose from. One of my favorite discount stores and i highly recommend it

Ok.. you have to take your time here. Watch the prices.. sometimes it is not a good deal. Maybe this is not the place to go through unless you just have time on your hands.

It is possible to find bargains here and sometimes get a good laugh when something is priced wrong. My most recent visit I found a nice LED floor lamp for $15. Sometimes things are way too high but you can probably point that out to someone in charge and they will adjust price.

Great store cashiers very friendly

Just found this store saterday April 3rd 2021. Not a bad little store for being a bargain store. Decent prices on the things we purchased. Cant say much about the bathroom. Stunk and stall walls were gross but toilet looked clean.

Good sale on Christmas items. My wife got a great deal on long Christmas slipper socks. More organized and cleaner than in the past. Very friendly cashier and staff.

I enjoy shopping here I never know quite what Im going to find but I know if Im looking for some snack items and beverages Ill find a good deal on them

An awesome place to find hot deals in the Hickory area. They have everything from electronics to formal wear to furniture and bed sets. Some items are very fairly priced, but others like beauty and pet can be hit and mess. Look for the yellow tags deeper disoucnts.

This was my first time at this store. Its local for my family and I was here visiting and went with my aunt. I loved some of the unique items and some of the great sale prices. I did purchase a few items. Some were a great deal others seemed average priced but I liked the items for my daughter and purchased anyways. I would def return in the future when I visit and I know my family will continue to shop there. I only wish there were some closer to home in Florida.

If we werent limited by time, I would have tAken my time to explore this interesting store. It was my first time visiting and there are LOTS of stuff with excellent prices. I found the perfect lumbar support for my car seat. Very impressed. Will visit again.

Loved the prices, didnt care to much for the attitude by the employees/manager. But like I said the prices were great! So ill be going back for that reason alone.

Very pleased with Zach at the hickory store. He helped us with a full size mattress and box spring and rails. He has very good customer service skills and he was very happy to help us. I would recommend anyone to this store. And most of all ask for Zach.

Very please with the selection of plus-size women pants from named brand companies. You need to visit both Lenoir and Hickory stores because they dont always have the same merchandise. You do need to open and inspect boxed items before purchasing to ensure the condition . You need to go at least 2 to 3×s a week.

I absolutely love this store. Great things at great prices... Sometimes you have to look a little bit for what you want. I think this is the reason for the name of the store. Sometimes you might have to hunt for your bargain! I definitely recommend this store.

Love checking out the changing merchandise. Just like the name says you hunt for Bargins. Some are really great deals, others are at new prices. All is new merchandise but is mixed with pallet discontinued items and returns from other companies purchased bulk.

A little pricey on certain things. All in all a good store.

Neat and organized with a decent selection of everything.

Great buys at great prices

Bargain hunt has become my new weekly wander-in. You never know what theyll have new, or what deals theyll have on older stock. The randomness of it makes it more interesting than your average store. Prices arent bad either.

A wide variety of items, just nothing in particular to interesting to me, but thats just my own opinion, others may love it.

Surely larger than the Shelby store. Same items just go in to look for a bargain as its never known what they will have but you can find good deals just compare to online as you shop and its a fun store. I did buy holiday lights though and found most not to be working from both hickory and shelby so keep recipes or check in store before buying to save time and hassle.

This place has some good deals. There were quite a few items definitely not worth the price they had on them though. Friendly staff.

We got some great pieces of furniture for 90% off yesterday. We had a lot of pieces, and my niece bought a lot as well. Sydney checked us out, and because we had so many big pieces, I thought it would be complicated and take awhile. Not so, she was very friendly and moved us through quickly. Ron and Zack loaded it all up for us. They were super friendly and very helpful! I’ve been to a few Bargain Hunts including in TN, and this one in Hickory is the best. You guys have some great deals and an awesome staff!

I stopped in there today. I asked an employee a very specific easy question... She responded in the most condescending tone that she had no idea what i was talking about. So I nicely asked her in a different way... She again just as rude and irritated acting as can be said uhhh no and turned away. She acted disgusted that she be bothered by a customer while she was stocking the shelves. Her attitude alone disgusted me enough to not want to go back or ever recommend this store. Uhg... If you hate your job get a new one dont take it out on others. Common sense. Maybe management should do some training on customer service bc they obviously dont know the basics.

My favorite pastime. Although the shelves seems to not be as full, I still love hunting for bargains. I do think theyre getting higher prices.

Maybe a year ago I would have given them 5 stars. they seem to have changed, not much of a good selection to choose from, and prices are not much of a bargain anymore if you are not careful.

Ron was a great help along with Melissa. (?) We bought a white couch and they did everything possible to protect the couch for us as we loaded it and Ron helped us load it into our van. 30 percent coupon if you sign up. Will go back!

I love Bargain Hunt, its basically like big lots but their supply changes a lot. I can usually find really good deals there. Be sure to always check back to keep up with their new shipments.

Great store. Great customer service. Love all the items and deals you can find. It takes me some time to find items because of the different items they always get in but it’s fun seeing all the great discounted items I can find.

Bargain hunt is a great store to hunt in. You can find some unbelievably great deals. Its hit or miss, but new inventory comes in all the time.

Good deals on food items, clothing are name brand good prices.if you need a cheap headset for gaming, they have them, come by and take a look. youd walk out with something

Large store, many of the shelves were 50% empty. A few good bargains but nothing special. Staff was extremely friendly and helpful.

This place is great, it takes some work sometimes to find the great deals, but thats why its called Bargain HUNT. As for the lines, that is a sign that a lot of people are buying stuff. I usually see people checking out with buggies of quite a bit of stuff, so that takes time. Most of the employees are very nice and helpful. Im glad this place is here.

Do your price comparison shopping, they are more expensive than other retail stores and some things are a good bargain. You have to look hard cause some places in the store are very disorganized (I dont entirely blame the store for that). Its almost like a higher class Goodwill store.

Store isnt being taken care of . Who ever is doing the pricing is nuts. Most of the things dont work and what does I can get cheaper in a regular store. The food is mostly out of date and I can go to the dollar tree and get it in date for cheaper. Bargain Hunt no longer has BARGAINS. They are ripping people off!

Always the cleanest and neatest of the Bargain Hunts compared to the one in Lenoir. Employees greeted me upon arrival and prices were clearly marked.
