Horrible first experience, was harassed and embarrassed over opening a box that had already been opened. I didn’t deny opening the box b/c as a new comer i wasn’t completely aware of not opening the boxes the man recorded me on his phone from the security camera and was rude and embarrassing in front of other customers, telling me i ripped the box open when i did not rip it. The employee was rude and the owner was notified and was bascially the same way. I was treated as if i was stealing something when i didn’t even pull the item out of the box.

The employees just threw the boxes out and screamed at people. People in there are like animals and it’s all worthless junk. Anything good has already been picked before you got to it if there even is anything good.

I was so excited to go there today after work because it said they were open until 5:45. I get off work at 5 and get there at 5:05 and the employees are closing the store. They told me that since no one was in there at 5 they decided to close. Your hours should be posted correctly and should be consistent for your customers. No apology was given and they left in a hurry, this is not customer service. I don’t think I will return to ever shop there or even attempt.

The male employee.. I guess hes a manager??? Is not very professional and at one point I thought he was going to get physical with a customer. Im not sure if the customer was looking in boxes or what they were shouting about. But if hes a manager he needs to learn how to deal with his customers better. From reading FB reviews I see hes had this problem with other women and their children as well.

Great place with great customer service an experience! Love digging around in the bins, having boxes opened its like Christmas all over again everyday! Anything you can buy an return on Amazon, you will find in this place! All kinds of good items!!!

Be very careful about taking your children here. They are taking photos and videos of your children. They are more like child stokers. Then they are anything else. So please watch your children in this place. Be very careful of them using the bathroom.

If dumpster diving with paying for the items is your thing then this is your place. Thunderstruck by AC/DC blaring as you stroll through the unfinished wooden “bins”. Mystery packages are available for those with a impulse buy habit as items are re-taped and in boxes unmarked and labeled in foreign languages. Employees are searching through the “goodies” for the mystery leak and mysterious smell as they wear their surgical gloves. Customer service is top notch and makes anyone welcome when calling; a simple “hello” was the response we got when calling in regards to hours. I’m giving this a 5 star because everyone needs to experience Bin5; it’s like wish but without all the waiting for damaged wrong item to arrive.

A neat store and idea. Items are Amazon returns so make sure the item works and has all of its parts. They have tables where you can test items and staff will open boxes to let you look inside. They bring more items out through the day. Prices get cheaper per item through the week. The give you a clear trash bag to put your treasures in and you have to drag it around. I used to be every Sunday .. today I was there I ready have couple items and at the inspection point the man check everything open a bag and was a logo not belongs to the item and he was saying I put the logo in there.. I told proof me !!!Proof me that check the camera ... was so embarrassed for something I never did!!! He just walks away saying not make it big.. before say something to a customer make sure !!!!

My best find from this bin 5 yet is a Ryzen 5 3600 and a GTX 1660 (not pictured) just sitting there all alone and nobody grabbed them because they have no idea what they’re looking at. Shockingly No missing or bent pins!Here’s the CPU as proof. It is quite the gamble when getting one with no box, but it works perfectly and was able to overclock it. Got this on a Wednesday which is even more shocking since those bins are usually empty by that day. For those not familiar, this is a CPU and they normally cost ~$250. I managed to get it for a Dollar (the same price as a large sweet tea at McDonalds).4 stars because people still open boxes and it’s frustrating to have to put together separated pieces. I am glad they’re putting markings on boxes now to identify products.Edit: For context, I was at Bin 5 a few weeks ago when I got this CPU, it’s only now I’m posting my review because I was assembling a PC and remembered where I got the Thing.Bin 5 Morganton is good to, but I get real lucky with the Hickory location on the regular when it comes to PC parts.

This store has nothing but junk at it. They are just junk dealers. You can get most of the stuff at Big Lots and other stores. And youll be buying better stuff at the other stores.

Overly shopped. The photos of what they have are slightly misleading. I have never seen any really nice or high priced items in the bins.. too many kids and people act like animals, pushy and zero manners. Neat place to check out but there are others that are better

Its a blast. Basically the place glass some deal with Amazon, so that they can sell the undeliverable packages for 5 or 7 bucks a package. Look carefully through the bins, be and you can get some good stuff. I got a 2tb hard drive and a great he tv antenna for 10. Like I said, look through everything and get some good stuff.

Love this store....However the 1st 15-30 people are always the same people. They are there every Friday from about lunch time and set their chairs out for Saturday. They either leave and come back or, the ones who stay use the bathroom behind the dumpsters (yes one and two). So if you are a normal working person and can’t do this then you typically aren’t going to get what you see on the previews.

Bins are very messy. Youre not allowed to open boxes but most of the boxes are not marked with what the contents are. I like the prices of thing, I got a duvet cover set and a set of blackout curtains for $10. What a buy! I feel like they still have a few adjustments to make regarding the organic, but great idea and great prices.

Man!!!! i cant believe all the stuff This place has at unbelievable prices. Why would you pay full retail price for anything when u can find it here for $5 dollars on Saturday or Sunday. I was there this weekend and i found many cool stuff that i needed. Thanks to all the great staff. They were very friendly and helpful. They even helped me carry my bags to my car since i have trouble walking. Thank you Bin 5....

Wow! i wish we had this store in Cali.... i flew last week to visit my cousin & we found this store... lots of goodies! i bought me a camera, some film, headphones & toys for my Goddaughter.. really AMAZED! SO MUCH STUFF VERY NICE & POLITE WORKERS IN THEIR... WHAT I LIKED IS THAT THEY SPEAK SPANISH & ENGLISH & THE DUDE THATS THEIR I BELEIVE RUDI WAS HES NAME... These guys have lots of great deals. Great products, dirt cheap. Check them out before you buy from other stores or online, you might find the same thing at a much cheaper price.Not sure about the other guy who thinks theyre anti-American. Strange guy, probably a competitor.Theyre very friendly with everyone in my experience, and everyone was leaving with a smile as far as I could see from the couple of times Ive been there. Very pleasant folks.

I love this store! I found plenty of stuff here, and had a lot of fun looking. There’s even a testing station in the back, & my items were in perfect condition (some even had never been taken out of the packaging!)Definitely a really fun time; I could spend hours here just finding deals you can’t find anywhere else

Drove and hour just to see a paper sign saying they closed early. Several cars drove in and left. Such a waste of time. Apparently they only make updates on Facebook so check there before wasting your time going. They seem to have a huge problem with this as they are constantly closing early according to their FB.

6 months ago I gave a review where I was critical of the things coming up short of amazing products ending up there.Even though my rating is unchanged, I want to acknowledge an improvement of their inventory as well as emphasis on bin digging to be a skill in order to be successful.You need to count on two things. The ability to find things among a mess of stuff, and the ability to identify things with little information.You need to know what to look for, usually following their Facebook will give nice incite of what to expect. However the really good stuff don’t usually show up in their weekly post and you’ll have to take a trip yourself.

I have never been more obsessed with a store, and the people that work at hickory and Morganton just make the experience that much better, with that kind of constant foot traffic, and people not following instructions, I could see that job quickly and easily becoming stressful but they are almost always kind and willing to help. And the deals are awesome

Such a cool place to go and see what you can find. I found a few things that were worth way more than $5 and it was a fun experience at the same time. Well worth the visit.

It was great! It was dollar day and a very lathe bag was only $25. Just stuff it full.

OMG!!!!I purchased a high end bluetooth headset for $7. I later discovered that the same bluetooth headset sells on Amazon for $262.

Good some nice gadgets and went around 8:30am on a Saturday. Friendly employees and awesome deals. Try it sometime. $5 day on Saturday.

Didnt really live up to the hype in my opinion. I was there on a Wednesday around lunch time though. Just couldnt see myself standing outside in line 2+ hours before the doors open just to be one of the first inside. The deals and daily specials are poorly adve freertised. The organization of the items is non-existent. Its a developing

A really neat place to pay way less than retail for a lot of items. I was able to go and spend around $130 for about $290+ worth of actual, working items.

Great place to find anything, but you cant go in with the mindset of im buying a cellphone, you might find 1 but probably not. Ive gotten sheets, curtains, Christmas gifts, toys, electronics and more. Sat & Sun is when they are putting out new products and its only $5. Mon-wed the prices are cheaper.

This location was okay, the biggest downfall was the rudeness of the employee with the megaphone who kept saying not to open anything when 90% of the bins had stuff that was already opened and even had knives falling out of boxes. He should spend more time focusing on safety than worrying about it a box gets opened.

I went in the afternoon & didnt have to wait in line to get in, but all the good stuff was pretty much pick over. I came out with some good things for my family & friends for Christmas.

I just left Bin Five for my third time, I love this place! Every single time I go I leave with a full bag! I always find something that is advertised that I’m really wanting. I have yet to be disappointed, it is well worth the wait.

The people are friendly and the place is nice. It is a bit or miss on what you want. There are always a lot of good things.

It fun and all but its really crowded together and the lines to open the boxes are really lond so it takes forever to find out whats in a box

Fun, looking for a bargain. Go when you have time to look. Many packages are sealed, to see whats in them, you can take to a staff member who will open, then you can decide if you want.

They are not very business oriented. They blocked my personal account on Facebook because they posted a status saying Whats better then bin 5 in hickory and I commented and said Bin Bargain in Hudson because they allow me to use my childs stroller and they blocked me. They will acusse you of stealing something if you try to bring you child in a stroller, and then tell you to leave because Strollers are not allowed and most of the electronic items o bought here did not work. I do not recommend Bun 5, but I highly Recommend Bin Bargain in Hudson!

It is a sorry store. Likes to pick on elderly heart patients, they are very rood to you in front of your child and take video of your family as well, and mouth off at you as they follow you to the car, around a small child can hear cus words.

I will be back I thoroughly enjoyed myself and the staff is very very friendly it is a must recommend

Not a bad experience so much as overwhelming if you love digging in bins and discovering things that is great but because of the number of people there is very little untouched items which means that pieces could be elsewhere boxes could be opened but they will allow you to test the electronic items to make sure they turn on before you purchase since there is no return

Not appealing to me at all. Rumor has it, there are deals to be had when new merchandise goes out but I was there on Monday afternoon and didnt buy anything. Rather shop thrift or secondhand shops.

Complete waste of time. All the items we saw were off-brand i.e. Dollar Tree level items. Many if not all the items were torn open, boxes smashed, packaging ripped open...many more with missing items. I would advise driving on by..

Im sure they get good stuff, but at the end of the week they take everything thats left and condense it to a single bin, making people crowd on top of each other just to look at the few items left. We are in a pandemic, and this is reckless.

I love this store. The employees are super sweet.

Allowing people to walk around without masks on. Zero social distancing. People wanting to stand on top of people. A lot of nondescript boxes you arent allowed to open to even see what it is same with clothing items so you cant tell what size it is etc. and the rest of it is just junk. Unless you get here first thing when they fill the bins it isnt worth coming. Waste of time.

Lot of stuff in closed cardboard boxes that employee have to open, and the line to get employee to remove tape is long, the waiting to get into store is long and not enough parking space.

Waited in line for an hour and shopped for an hour just for them to tell us theyre only accepting cash, no cards. Wish one of the staff members would have said something while everyone was waiting.
