Just wanted to leave a rating for one of their employees, mary t. i hope this rating finds her and/or her leadership team to let them know that i appreciated her excellent customer service skills a few weeks ago. i came into the furniture mart to look around. she approached me, escorted me around, answered my questions and was very professional. although i didn’t get anything at that moment, i sincerely appreciated her approaching me and taking the time to assist me! i hope all of their employees are like her. if not then have her train them or get more like her! will definitely go on their website to browse for furniture for my new house.

I called Heritage in North Carolina, from the state of Washington, trying to furnish my daughter’s apartment. I talked with Megan, she did a fantastic job! Megan made buying furniture from across the country so easy! I could not have done it without her! Megan’s customer service and care went above and beyond! I was able so see each piece of furniture separately and then together, I’ve never had that done when in person shopping! Thank you Megan!!

We purchased a brand new dining room set from Heritage Furniture Gallery. We had the set delivered and the guys that brought our new dining room set did an excellent job. Everything was assembled and they went over each piece to make sure there was no issues. Overall we had an excellent experience at Heritage Furniture and will certainly be back for additional pieces as needed.

Joyce has been right there for my every need, any questions about manufacturers, prices, sizes, fabrics, styles, even a rug for my living room. She even went to other stores with me in case I found something there, so that it would get delivered at the same time. She and I have been a great team. Can hardly wait until delivery on Monday. Glenda helped us find the perfect counterstools - she answered all our questions and was so pleasant! We purchased them and took them home that day. She worked as a team with Randy, who immediately took the stools off the showroom floor. They met us at the loading dock when we were ready to leave, and Randy carefully put them in the back of our minivan. What a wonderful, stress-free buying experience. We will definitely go back!

Would be nice if the website would have some basic price listings for those of us who live out of town. I dont want to call for a price quote on several different items and certainly dont want to drive a good distance without knowing some baseline prices before.

She attentively listened to my desires, and presented many beautiful assoseries. Maybe I was misinformed. If so shame on me. But I shopped and finally purchased a piece from Heritage. The piece is fine, but as I looked it over found a made in China label. And having an idea of the difference in our countries construction practices. I realized I did not have the Made in America product I had wrongly assumed I was purchasing.Mind you I retracted a review recently based on my first shopping experience with the furniture mart.I should have followed my first instinct.

To sum up our experience: We ordered our furniture Memorial Day weekend and were told they would call us in 6-8 weeks when the furniture arrived. We ordered a bedroom suite and have been living out of suitcases with our mattress on the floor since we purchased our home at the beginning of May. After 8 weeks had passed I had to follow up with them because no one had contacted us. As it turns out, our furniture arrived July 5 and sat there for THREE WEEKS until I followed up. They were dishonest about the delay. The associate told me the furniture had arrived “a few days” before. 20 days is not just a few... They also have not communicated with us since last Thursday even though we were supposed to receive a call the next day. The lack of communication and service is atrocious. ***editing to add: we finally heard from the manager. We had asked them to cover the $270 delivery fee, which is minimal considering we spent close to $3,000. She had spoken with the president and offered to SPLIT the fee with us. This is just insulting and ridiculous. Their argument was that we bought the furniture during a sale. Even if we paid $100 I would expect a professional level of service. They did end up paying the delivery fee (the furniture is being delivered tomorrow - 9 weeks past order date), but we never received any real apology (just a “well, there is human error”) and we are irritated that we had to “fight” for that to be paid when all of the mistakes were being made on their end. Really, we should just cancel our order and take our business elsewhere. This company is clearly much more focused on their profit margin and not at all on the level of service they bestow on their customers. A company who cares about their customers would try to make their mistakes right and at least offer a sincere apology for such an inconvenience and lack of communication. We have the rest of our home to furnish and will not be purchasing anything else from Heritage or any of its affiliates in the future.

I found some wonderful deals and my salesperson, Tosha McKinney was extremely helpful and patient as I decided on my purchases. She was so attentive and Id highly recommend her!!

I ordered two sofas in mid-May with estimated time of delivery of 8 weeks. After hearing nothing by the end of July, I emailed and was told that there had been a problem and one sofa came in late. As of July 31, I was told that both sofas were in and I would have them in 2-2 1/2 weeks. After three weeks, I got a phone call from the delivery company, saying they would deliver Sept. 7. Almost 16 weeks after placing my order! Apparently they sat the sofas at their warehouse for almost a month. Had they told me 16 weeks at the start, I certainly would not have ordered. Also, once the order was placed and paid for, all contact was initiated by me. There was no communication on their part. I can not recommend this company.

As we travel cross country from California to Virginia we specifically stopped in Hickory to look at furniture for our new home. We were very overwhelmed with the selection but with this assistance of Tosha and Amy they made the transition and the purchase very smooth and easy for us. There was no pressure they allowed us to look around pick out different furniture sets and then get back with them regarding our concerns and questions. Tosha and Amy were very professional, easy to workwith and friendly. They both made our shopping experience enjoyable. I would highly recommend both of them for your furniture and design needs.
