I purchased a front loading washer approx. 8 yrs. ago. I never purchased the extended warranty.Thedoor is now leaking. I called Sears to schedule repair. I was informed that there is no one on the bigisland of Hawaii to repair my washer. How can this be right?

Called three different times of the day, left voicemail, and NEVER got a call back. If you not going to call back dont waste peoples time leaving a message and giving them false hope that youll call back. No wonder all these department stores are closing down, it is easier to just order the part online.

Brought a mower in for repair that was brand new used twice and under warranty. The mower would lose power after a minute of running and they sent it back saying it worked fine. It still did not work and I was told the second time that it was a broken crank shaft not covered under warranty $200. They said I must have hit a rock. I pointed out that there was not a ding on the brand new blade and it was unlikely that was the problem but the lady I spoke to insisted that 3 technicians looked at it. 3. Really? The 800 service center people said there was nothing I could do because the local shop insisted that it was not covered.I took it to another shop and they said it was not a crank shaft problem. Turns out it was a stuck throttle. No charge. There should be a zero or minus rating for a business that makes up engine problems when they cant diagnose it. Some warranty! and what a waist of my time! I will not be taking anything into this center for parts or repairs nor will I consider buying tools and appliances from Sears in the future.

They have fixed the problem of not returning calls by removing the answering message.now the phone just rings until it disconnects you.

1st encounter: Telephoned. Described my issue, woman on phone told me my oven did not have the part I was describing because she was looking at the diagram and it wasnt there. (I looked up diagram later and found the part)2nd encounter: Go in...ask for part by describing it. It took BOTH woman in front not even 10 seconds to say GAS COMPANY (fyi, its AIRPRO) and I went to Airpro and they do NOT carry the part I needed. Its a SEARS part. I looked up the part number went back in to Sears, lady didnt even apologizing for sending me when there was no need. and they didnt have the part and then told me I could go to ace and pick up the part. NO ITS A SEARS PART. she confused my part which she was looking at on her computer to the propane tube. JUST COMPLETE IDIOTS WORKING THERE. NO HELP, NO KNOWLEDGE, NOT EVEN COMMON SENSE. IF THEY TELL YOU NO, MAKE SURE YOU EDUCATE YOURSELF BECAUSE THEY COULD BE GIVING YOU WRONG INFORMATION. IF THIS IS HOW SEARS EMPLOYEES ARE EDUCATED OR TRAINED TO ACT ITS SAD AND I WOULDNT TRUST THEM IN MY HOUSE NOR WORKING ON ANY OF MY APPLIANCES.

The voice mail invites customer to leave number and message for a call back. I did so. I never received a call back.
