A great place near the Hilo Airport for food and drink. This cafe caters more towards vegetarian and vegans but anyone can eat here. The cafe is large and modern with attentive service.The wait time was slightly longer than expected but it was due to making the food and coffee drinks fresh and with care. The barista carefully whisked our drinks and they tasted like they were made with love.We had the vegan Loco Moco, vegan fried rice, and vegan tiramisu. All of this was packaged to-go in eco-containers. The food was incredible and we devoured it. The vegan fried rice tasted like it was not vegan, and the seasonings were spot-on. The vegan Loco Moco was rich and filling. The take on the tiramisu was more like a Biscoff trifle rather than traditional tiramisu but it was delectable anyways. 10/10 would recommend.

They were out of a few things but what we ended up eating was really good. I would definitely buy food here again as it was tasty. I would get it to go though for a more peaceful, chill vibe that dinning in does not give.

The food was great, especially the vegan nachos and avocado toast. However they didnt take our entree order until 30 min in and then there was an hour long wait. On top of that they missed a dish for our table and gave us one that we didnt want. Two stars instead of one because they addressed our concerns, but my friends were super hangry.

Only ordered a couple ala cart items and the wait was super long and when the food came it was luke warm at best. Its a super small place with so many employees. I wouldnt have minded the wait so much if the staff serving the food and working behind the bar would have had their masks covering their faces. They had masks on, just tucked under their chins. I didnt want to be the K word and say anything but I was kind of disappointed. Almost every store, restaurant etc. on the Big Island is super mindful and considerate of others.

This the one!!! If youre Plant Based this is one of thee best spots on Big Island! Food is great. The vibe is lit and the Staff are welcoming and friendly! They even have crystals and art for purchase.

Wow, this place is fantastic! Ive been vegan for 7 years and this ranks up there with the best food Ive tried. Everything is flavorful and delicious without being over salted or drowned in spice and oil. The breakfast toast is phenomenal! And portion size is just right. The only downside is the price is a bit high for what Im used to, but I will be back simply because the food is flawless.

This place is very the June, and if you understand that reference, this is the spot for you! Super cute decor, tasty food and drinks.

Wonderful atmosphere!!! Reminds me of SoCal cafés! Polite and welcoming service. Awesome coffees and I always go for the iced lavender latte, but have tried a few other beverages.The food is delicious as well. If you’re okay with cheese, try the Caprese pizza!!! Balsamic drizzle and pesto…. Mmmm.I believe even that has vegan alternatives for the cheese on the Caprese pizza.Truly is a good place to eat and just chill. One of my go to places for sitting on my laptop and for free WiFi.

The food is prepared in a very lazy and basic way. The prices suggest quality and flavor, but I assure you, that is not what you will get. The cafe was empty, but we still waited 45min to get our food.The cocktails were fun and refreshing, but heavily overpriced. Would not recommend and will definitely not be returning.

The very first time I came had the most amazing golden milk latte But have been back at least 5 more times and the golden milk drink is extremely weak. The first time I had lots of turmeric at the bottom of the glass and was extremely excited. Now they are very weak was even disappointed bc No rose pedals in the glass. Came to show off the place and was extremely excited about the golden milk. Very disappointed I hope they can make it like it use to be. And they changed loaded avo as only a breakfast items. Super sad face

Truly the best vegan restaurant I’ve ever been to! And I’ve been to plenty!! The service was lovely and the food was so delicious I have no words to describe it! The fried rice and jackfruit tacos with mango sauce were probably my two favorites. I want to go back and try the whole menu!!

Great restaurant everything you get there is pretty healthy, great vegan options Had the blue cheese burger. Was spectacular. Tasted like a flame broiled Smokey Blue Cheese burger. Hilo are you trying to make me turn vegan lol? I think it’s working with food this good. Also the jack fruit nachos and burrito are a class act.I also love the vibe of this place light natural and airy, blends well with the healthy food there. The customer service was also phenomenal.

Ingredients were fresh and tasty. My vegan sister was very happy, especially with thepoke bowl. I got the jalapeno pineapple pizza, which was delicious, but the crust was soft and I wish it were crispier. I would definitely go here again.

It’s VERY loud in this place. Constant grinding of juice machine, blenders, etc. in space were the sounds echos repeatedly. Yelling is considered talking apparently. No creamer was offer with my black coffee. No ketchup or mustard with burger. Waitress not that attentive. Food was great, and coffee was amazing. This place generally lacks attention to detail…as noted above.

Definitely has a cool “vibe”. Had a mac nut latte that was good. Also had the vegan logo moco and thought it was solid. Overall great place. Staff was really friendly as well 🤙🏼

Incredibly friendly staff, yummy food, outrageously good coffee. Huge menu with lots of vegan options. Or at least would have appreciated a heads up that these are best for splitting. Especially since nachos aren’t good to-go foods bc they get soggy. Our breakfast ended up be $60 with a burger, nachos, two lattes and an affogato. To be fair, they did tell us that this was bigger than normal :)Would recommend and come back here.

Jackfruit nachos, Beet Poke bowl, BBQ Fake chicken pizza, golden milk, blue magic & beet latte - all vegetarian and HEAVENLY!! We loved it so much we drove 40min to come back (I will say we did not enjoy the cheeseburger salad, or the caprese pizza, or anything else we’ve tried other than the above mentioned things)

Absolutely delicious! The staff was friendly and the vibe here is great. We ordered the nachos, tacos, pizza, and Greek salad. My family of 4 split these dishes and we all enjoyed them very much.

Beet poke bowl was amazing! The dressing made it quite similar to regular poke. The rice in it was too al dente. The greek salad was average. I also enjoyed the blue gajic drink, it tasted like melted ice cream!

Had dinner here last night and it was ideal, from the menu, to the service, to the food, to the whole vibe. Came back to try breakfast and the food was still good but the servers did not have a friendly vibe. Maybe they need a Medicinal Cacao Mocha or something.

Loved this Hilo hole in the wall. A friend recommended it and we had a great time. They have the funkiest drink menu and their mainly vegan dishes are scrumptious and the portions are huge. You will definitely eat your entrée over two days. So, order accordingly. They also sell a few gift items and the jewelry is very cool. Oh, the deserts... They look amazing. Didnt have room to taste any but admired them from afar.

Loved this place; Food AND atmosphere. Had a brief few moments to speak with the owner as well, she was really cool and gave us a taste of a yummy spicy drink as well as a piece of what brought her to the island. The food was very reasonably priced and tasted awesome. My wife is beginning her transition to being plant based and LOVED the jackfruit tacos. They are a must visit for delicious food, whether your plant based or not, and I’d recommend grabbing one of their lemonades as well ;)

Good healthy food, overpriced though. The chef tries a Spanish dish every now and then but he ought to be punished for putting white rice with tomalies unless he is married to the manager. The service is OK but the staff turnover is too often. For Hilo, it is the only cosmopolitan place there is.

Charging extra for having enough sauce on a dish is off putting. How can I come to a restaurant that has dry food and when given advice on how to make it better wants to charge us for it? Make customers happy and they return, have dry food and they will be less likely to.

Im loving Big Island because of all the vegan places!!!This is another MUST if you are stopping or staying in Hilo!!!!!The ingredients and food prep is just soooo good!! They really have a very artsy menu with different composition that makes vegan soooo good!Its on my to be back list restaurant because it was amazing.The staff was also super nice and helpful.

Walking into Vibe is like taking a walk on the wild side (for your taste buds). Their food is flavorful & there are a lot of options. I’ve had the jackfruit nachos (which have just the right amount of spice and enough for two people to share even as a main course) and the cheeseburger salad (never disappoints). The best thing about it is that you don’t feel guilty or bloated after eating!

After coming here a few times for drinks, I finally came here for the well talked about jackfruit nachos. I had seen someone get them before and it looked like a big serving. When I got them I was pretty disappointed by the amount, and even more disappointed in the plastic container they came in. I was dining in to avoid the waste of a to-go container, and my food still came in one. Service was also pretty terrible, like many of the reviews state. I wish I could like this place more but its way to expensive for the amount of food and poor service.

Service was a bit slow - felt forgotten about by wait-staff - food was Incredible though - the jackfruit Nachos were mouth watering.

Weird vibes from this cafe... first time there i went in to do some work on my laptop while my car was being repaired down the road. I went to the counter to order (I only wanted a drink so as to not be rude while i used their wifi) and the waitress told me if i was eating in that they would take my order at the table. Okay, so i went to sit down and started my work. I swear 2 HOURS went by before anyone paid attention to me. And i honestly didnt mind because i was just there to do work, and figured they didnt care if i was using the wifi. BUT THEN the same girl walks up to me telling me i cant sit here anymore because i havent ordered anything? Like yea i was planning to.... I probably wont be going back

Throughout the pandemic, they have either been encouraging or allowing all employees to wear the fake mesh masks. I heard another customer ask them if they were back to selling them. This is not a once off, been there three times. Fake masks on servers each time

Really impressed - staff was really welcoming and friendly, and identifying I hadnt been before, were extra courteous. The place itself is clean, sleek, and feels high end. Lots of succulents and viney plants make the place feel comfy and natural. As for the food, I really loved what I saw on the menu, and cant wait for my next visit to continue trying new things! I got the Beet Poke Bowl today, and it was fantastic. Super healthy, filling, and delicious. Highly recommend trying. I also got the Cherry Sencha tea, hot. Was lovely, with little flowers floating in it.The food also came to me extremely fast!

Vibe is literally one of the best vegan restaurants I have ever been to. The cashew cheese was next level amazing. The service was exceptional as well. In addition to that, the live must added to the overall vibe and I was super impressed.

I love that there is a vegetarian/vegan place in Hilo and that most of the veg items can be made fully vegan. The food coming out of the kitchen looked amazing, which is why I think I just ordered the wrong things. I had the Jackfruit Tacos and the vegan Philly Cheesesteak. The tacos could have had more sauce and the cheesesteak only had green peppers on half the sandwich. Adding more peppers, and maybe some mushrooms would have added more flavor and moisture to the cheesesteak. I was hoping for more from the food, but the service and atmosphere were solid.

My husband and I shared a Big Fat Greek Salad, a Caprese pizza and an Expresso Milk Shake. Yum! This was our 4th or 5th visit and havent had a bad meal yet. Cute little gift shop, friendly and helpful staff, very clean, outdoor dining available. If you are vegan, or just want to eat more plant- based meals, this is the place to go.

Most creative cocktails Ive seen in a long while. I had a Lilikoi Mai Tai and my wife had a fancy pink drink called Bad and Boujee. Both were excellent and a ton of fun. The food was also completely delicious. My favorite spot in Hilo!

Not one of those people who likes vegetarian food,like at all, but I absolutely loved this place. The beyond meat burgers are amazing and the pizza was delicious. Probably some of the best food I’ve had in the big island and I didn’t even eat meat which blows my mind.

Great atmosphere and a fun menu. I mean, where else can you get a vegan loco moco???While the loco Moco is unique, the house made seitan blows it out of the water: perfect taste and texture and delicious sauces. If you only try one thing, try the seitan

Not many vegan options in Hawaii so I tried this place a few times. Their seitan texture is very odd. Steak and cheese was okay. Got the breakfast pizza and it’s not breakfast pizza at all... very disappointed. And it being almost $20 makes it worse. It’s literally cheese with a few pieces of tofu and two pieces of fried sausage. And was spicy. I expected the entire pizza to be tofu scramble and a little cheese. They need to improve their stuff if they want to charge as much as they do. Your charging that much with no tofu and no fake meat. Insane

Great food, if a bit expensive. The nasty burger especially is amazing.However, most of the waiters, staff, and some of the customers all had their noses sticking out of their masks.Feels like a Covid hotspot.EDIT: You say that, but I still noticed two of your front staff not wearing masks while they worked, I also had a clear view of your kitchen and I notice that no one in the kitchen is wearing masks.That is a clear violation of state laws. I love your food, but you need to consider the health of your employees and customers.

Delicious plant based food in a vibrant & welcoming cafe! The food was delicious & the atmosphere and decor was great! I really appreciated finding this, it was recommended by another local restaurant (Under the Bodhi Tree) and I cant thank then enough! Thank you VIBE for the great experience! Well be back for sure!

Vibe. I only got bad vibe from this place. As a wellness and nutrition expert who’s working with hospitality and restaurants I would NEVER recommend this place! I ordered avo toast that came out pretty, the first bite made me realized it was soaked with a sugary balsamic glaze...I couldn’t eat it and asked to make it without the sugary dressing (who can eat avocado toast with sugar?!), in response I got... ‘we can wrap it to-go and you can give it to someone else’.Customers nearby were also shocked at this attitude so I feel confident I did nothing wrong.In conclusion- bad vibes cafe. I enjoyed ‘Conscious Culture’ MUCH better (good vibe, service and food) and would highly recommend going there instead wasting your money at Bad VIBE Cafe.

Thoroughly enjoyed the quality and quantity of food, presentation of food, customer service, atmosphere, and timeliness. Didnt mind paying the price for what we received. I ate the beet poke bowl, but made it a salad instead and my tried some of my husbands jackfruit burrito as well. Lots of flavor.Will definitely be back and try everything else on the menu.
