Busy location, Good service.Usually a line in the drive thru, but there is a team member outside to take your order so by the time you get up to the pickup window, your order is waiting for you.

As a city dweller from the mainland a sense of normalcy is nice. Taking for granted a drive thru coffee shop is something that allows you to reflect. My Starbucks coffee orders are cute and paste. No matter where you go your order will taste the same. Though you may be far from home Starbucks allows you to feel as if you’re at the Starbucks down the street from your home.

On this hot Tuesday afternoon, venti ice coffee with nonfat milk is satisfying.

Great staff. Met all my expectations.

Maybe they were short staffed. All I wanted was a cup of coffee, it was probably 8:00 p.m. and I wanted to have coffee ready to go first thing in the morning. We did the drive-thru figuring it would be quick and I probably took 25 minutes. There was no way to get out of the line. I think with the wait time so long they should have been giving free cups of coffee.

Love the drive thru Starbux. Easy to get my Pumpkin Spice Soy Latte and a heated chocolate croissant. Makes for a seasonal high.

I had a gift card. I decided to regift the remainder. Just not my cup.

Its a Starbucks. The line here is long and there is a better local place down the street which is just as busy but much better.

Always a great service experience! Because of its central location, this Starbucks gets busy in the mornings and after work times. The drive-thru is pretty quick and they are always friendly, even when things are super busy.

The only starbucks drive thru in Hilo. Wish they had a better location. I can never go to this one when I dont want to get out of the car because the drive thru line is always long following out on the main road. Also if the drive thru line is long, you cant go in to park.

I didnt come here. You can get real Hawaiian grown coffee literally anywhere else.

Drinks were made perfectly! Had the double smoked bacon sandwich and a bacon gouda sandwich. They were about what you would expect from a coffee place. Good but not lip smacking amazing. Fast service. Friendly employees.

Where all da couches, these chairs give de ouches, looks kool and tech but just for da heck, bring back the couch for a coffee with slouch.

As far a Starbucks goes this is about as good as any other Starbucks.

There is always a long wait for the drive thru but if you just take a moment and park your car and walk inside the line tends to move slow more faster. Everyone there is very pleasant and chippy...like any other Starbucks from what Ive seen so far. Good job :)

Without a doubt its the nicest, most open feeling Starbucks Ive ever been in. I usually dont review chain places this common, but wow. I got a very relaxed feeling entering, and it had a lot of costumers already. I just didnt get that usual cramped, get in, get out, feeling.Id stay if I wasnt busy.

This is always a great Starbucks with friendly employees. It can get congested in the morning with work traffic, people will often wait in the median or the actual lane on Kilauea when the drive thru is backed up but they move pretty quickly.

Staff is friendly, but the goods are really overpriced. The drinks and food here are more expensive than they are in Tokyo! Cmon now. But cheers for being open so early in the morning and keeping a smile even when understaffed, which seems like the case oftentimes. Most times, they forget to get the food started directly after the order is placed and I have to remind them, but my frustration falls away when I start reading the positive and kind notes customers leave around the shop. Honestly, they just need to open another location (Wainuenue maybe where Blaines used to be?) and theyd balance out traffic and service/staffing issues. Theres definitely definitely a demand Starbucks! ✌️✌️

Great customer service. I order a drink and it seemed that I ordered the wrong one and the girls had no problem making the correct one that I wanted and did not change me for the mistake that I made. That is excellent customer service and Im completely satisfied.

Always consistent, always reliable, always sneaking sugar into every drink you buy. If sugar wasnt the leading cause of obesity it wouldnt be a problem otherwise its a good experience. Go for the mocca, if youre going to get fat it might as well be a tasty journey there.

The staff for the most part tries really hard & does accommodate those who are less fortunate.. who IS the reviewer who slams those who perhaps lost their homes last year? Would you like to be in those slippahs?? Yeah, its frustrating when those who DO take advantage leave the bathroom a mess & hog the very few outlets that havent been walled off... But again, in the name of Jesus have some COMPASSION for SOMEBODY besides YOURSELF!

Manager needs to make sure their employees are paying attention and reading whats on each cup on the order theyre making. I ordered a vanilla latte with soy milk and they put regular milk in there and Im pretty allergic to dairy so I was sick the whole next day all because of that one mistake. So yeah, employees need to pay more attention.. Other than that no other complaints.

Its Starbucks. You should know by now...seriously. If you lived in a remote jungle or in a cave your whole life: its a fancy coffee shop that is pricey but yummy. Its also taken over them world.

They didnt have a Hilo mug for the been there collection. But its a Starbucks - theyre all similar and all good.

We stopped here a few mornings ago on our way to the Kona Coast. Drive through line was long so we went inside. I have to day, they moves that drive through line quick! We ordered 3 drinks and 2 breakfast sandwiches. Our order came out within 5 minutes. Staff was very friendly, store was clean inside.

The wonderful aroma of coffee has been replaced with pungent body odor of people that havent bathed in days. The one restroom had a line longer than the one to order your beverage. Need to sit down, forget about it, the tables have been claimed for the day by unshowered. If you need your fix just save yourself the hassle and go through the drive through, or better yet go to the Starbucks across town.

I had a great time. I love the Venti Java Chip. Frapachino.

It was MUCH more comfortable before they remodeled. It used to be place Id go when I had a few minutes between appointments. Now I rarely go & when I do its a quick get in get out. Probably better for them, no one hanging around taking up space but I know Ive spent a 10th of what I used to there.

I love star bucks, but this location was lacking in customer service and product quality. My latte wasnt made how I wanted. I asked for it to be remade and all they did to fix it was put more whip cream on top. Also my daughter ordered a frappe and it wasnt blended enough. It had big chunks of ice still thru out. Was very disappointed upon leaving.
