The floor is so well organized and full of treasures! They do such great community work and even gave my kids a free book each! A must for homeowners and parents.

Prices are ridiculously expensive. You can buy most of the stuff cheaper at the store and brand new

Clean aisles and access to numerous donated items. From construction materials to kids toys. The shelves are not well organized, parking is limited, and mask and distancing mandates were not enforced while we were present.

When you are looking for that something for your project, this is the place to come to. They always have something that someone generously donated. Prices are very reasonable. Lots of unique and different things to see. Parking is hard to come by, but if you are patient, one will open up.

Great savings on a huge variety of materials for remodeling and construction projects.The staff at the store are very friendly and helpful. I always shop the humanity ReStore first and save a lot on items I need. If the restore doesnt happen to have the item I need. I go other local hardware stores. Big fan of the Restore. Highly recommend them.

Take a look her before you go to the hardware store, the may have what you need at a lower cost.

Not a good as some of the other restore locations, but that can always change. Nicely organized into categories to help find things.

Friendly employees. Very limited on appliances. Only saw one couch. Prices seem a little high, probably double what they should be for used, donated goods. Store is a bit messy & disorganized. Habitat may want to use a video recording system on donation area to be sure all donated items are not diverted.

This is my go-to treasure hunting place! We love to reuse and restore. I have rescued a dresser, coffee table, as well as found parts for other projects and can proudly say we have kept stuff from going to the dump. If you are a DIYer, then you HAVE to go here! Its for a great cause too. Win-win. Loco for local!

Months ago, was scolded as I didnt use the hand sanitizer agressively enough, today I was here and customers are not even bothering to pretend to be masked, staff are not wearing masks properly and the same rude young guy with his snarky attitude. Of the past 5 times I have been here, this same guy has been rude on 3 occasions. Dont worry, I wont come back!

Not to so much stuff to reuse, hard to probe to much unusable stuff need to go to salvation army. Sorry, but Im just keeping it 💯

Nice employees very helpful. Great prices and usually they have sales on. They have simply everything, tables, chairs, furniture, kitchenware, lights, wiring you name it! You never know what youre going to find there. I CHECK EVERYTIME I get to town..

Used materials at 75% of new retail. I understand it is for a good cause but they are too expensive for me to bother. Sale prices for new material at the big box stores are lower.

Got a jalousie glass panel for such a great price that I left a donation at the checkout. Lots of other items to catch the eye.

Lots of turnover, a great place to find one of a kind objects. Employees are great and friendly. The prices are awesome

New location is very nice. Items were well organized. We found some awesome bargains some were 40-50% off. I was amazed.

Good place to locate hard to find items like odd size windows, closet knobs, electrical and plumbing stuff. There also a free closet where I found some wire and a nice plate.

My first time there today. Helped a friend pick up a door. She was very pleased. I liked the former location better but this place does look bigger to store more.

This place is okay does not have too much selection on the most days. I prefer to go to Kailua-Kona one. Sometimes you can get a good deals here but usually the items are overpriced

Its not very big, but definitely worth the visit.The staff is the friendliest ever, and the prices are always fair.

Habitat Resale in Hilo has a new location to accommodate more items. I love that it’s clean and the workers are friendly and helpful. Their inventory is always changing so I go often as to not miss the good deals.

Great store. Always new things coming in and most things are very reasonably priced. A gem for hilo. Management runs it like a well oiled machine. Does not dissapoint!

Really good for hardware notions and limited building supplies. Mattresses and furniture. Sinks, toilets, shelving glass, shower doors, books, LPs, nick-nacks,few toys, sm. appliances.

Cool store! a lot of things things are way too expensive, other things are reasonable, it just depends, there seems to be no rhyme or reason to the pricing, but sometimes you can find something interesting or useful.
