Seems to be well run practice. However, the PA or Dr did not introduce herself to me. This should always be done when entering treatment room.

Complete satisfaction for the quick diagnosis of a problem and getting the surgery to solve it. I used to say there was no such thing as a dermatologic emergency - until I had one. I was considering a trip to the ER but decided to call May River Dermatology as I was already an established patient. The Hilton Head office managed to work me in with the PA who quickly and accurately diagnosed my problem. I had only seen the Dr. in the past and wasn’t sure about seeing the PA. I now can wholeheartedly recommend Kristina Ford along with May River Dermatology.

I have used May River Dermatology three times during the Pandemic. Dr. Hall has examined 3 suspicious spots on my skin on three different occasions. Each time, the check in process made me feel safe. I have been able to get an appointment in a timely fashion, so there was no anxiety waiting for a diagnosis.I am so pleased that I have found Dr. Hall, especially in this place near the Beach with lots of sunny days that I moved to a few years ago!

I mainly see Christina Ford. Who i like very much. She has a geart pleasant demeanor. The main negative is it is difficult to get an appointment.

Dr Hall is the perfect Dr. totally professional as is her staff. My visits are like seeing a long time friend. It’s equally a safe, orderly and expeditious visit. If I have a problem, it’s looked at immediately and taken care of. The exams are very thorough. There is no wasted time or effort, yet you are never rushed through your visit. I always leave with complete confidence that Dr Hall “has my back”...... my hope is that she never moves away so I have to find another skin Dr.

Ive been going to May River Dermatology for 3 years now. I have found it to be hit or miss. Some of the PAs are spectacular (Sherri Baer), but I have run into one who was dismissive and rather rude at the LUX location. I guess I would say it is a good practice if you choose which location and practitioner.

Sounds strange, since medical appointments are really not high on my list of fun things to do, but I always enjoy visiting May River Dermatology! It’s welcoming, efficient, and comfortable. Dr. Hall and Dr.Traywick are outstanding and I know I am in good hands. If I ever have questions, I only need to pick up my phone. If I could award more stars, I would!

I had an appointment with Dr. Carrie Hall this morning at the island location on Hospital Commons. Sarah, Dr. Hall’s tech took me back almost immediately upon my arrival. Dr. Hall was in to do my yearly skin exam shortly afterwards. Dr. Hall was wonderful, sharing a wealth of knowledge with me on various subjects. Dr. Hall is very thorough in her exam and has a lovely personality, I truly enjoyed my visit and time spent with Dr. Hall and Liz who was also kind, informative and friendly. The exam was done, I scheduled a follow up with the receptionist for next year and was on my way. I highly recommend May River and the doctors and staff there. Always a pleasant experience.

Have been seeing the PA, Ms. Ford, for a number of years. Excellent head to toe annual check-up. My wife has also seen Ms. Ford for a few procedures and all were professionally performed. Would highly recommend this practice. It is, however, a very busy practice so it may take a while to get an appointment, so plan ahead if at all possible. I have heard that they have recently open additional locations so hopefully that may reduce the lead time to schedule an appointment. Again, highly recommended.

My appointments have been at the Hilton Head office and Ive been seen by Kristina Ford. I have been totally satisfied. Ms. Ford is competent, pleasant, and she listens. Ditto for the rest of the office staff. A new service offered there is very helpful. When you make an appointment but would prefer one sooner, you can opt into a system that will text alert you to a cancellation. You have 15 minutes to accept the appointment. If you dont respond within the time frame, an alert goes to the next person--but youre kept on the list. Super easy--it worked flawlessly for me. Kudos for implementing something so helpful to patients.
