I have been a customer since 2018 and up until now have been pleased with their service. Two weeks ago I made an appointment for a burner cleaning and a checkup and was given an 11/1 appointment. Today they did not show up and am being told that I was scheduled for 11/6. When I told them that day does not work with our schedule, I am being told I need to wait until Christmas Week. Well, that is unacceptable for a mistake that YOU MADE Bay Fuel. You have lost my business. That is horrible customer service.

We had a oil delivery not under a cotract that was significantly higher than usual and also compared to cash price so we called to see what had happened. Maria I believe her name was, was the person we talked to. She said we were locked in a contract and that we had to pay the bill which was $70 more than what we were looking for. After being pretty rude aboit it she said Mike (owner/manager) would call us back but we should order somewhere else if we had a problem. Mike, we have used Bay Fuel for some time now and always enjoyed your experience. Im sorry but we are going to have to listen to your own employee and go somewhere else.

I am an engineer and my brother is in the plumbing and heating business so Ive been purchasing my oil Cod and my brother has been helping with the annual tune-ups and minor repairs. However I had surgery last week and came home from the hospital to a cold house and in no condition to troubleshoot a boiler and my brother had a doctor appointment himself but he came over after the doctor and found that the fuel pump was bad with the plumbing stores closed already. So we slept that night with a little space heater and the pump was replaced the next morning. So not wanting to inconvenience my brother any longer or sleep in the cold in the future I thought it was time to get a full service oil company, I wanted someone not too big and not too small. I also of course wanted someone with a good Google review. I probably visited 10 heating company websites and had the feeling that some companies were more interested in selling you a new boiler than maintaining your existing one. I also wanted a company with a familiar name that Ive seen on oil delivery trucks on the road. So I called Bay Fuel as I was home recovering from my surgery and the receptionist was friendly and courteous and told me that Mike would call me back to discuss their delivery options. He called me and was also very friendly and courteous and knowledgeable. He came the next morning to discuss the options and to look at my boiler and offered me a lock in price for a year that I felt was fair. There is no charge for a maintenance contract. Mike told me it was a family business and we started chit-chatting and he told me about some of the giving back to the community activities his family was involved in. So I signed up for a year and I just got my first delivery this morning with a paper receipt left in my mailbox and an email receipt also sent to me. It has only been a day with Bay Fuel but Im hoping to have many years doing business with them.

Me and my fiancé have been customers for 3 1/2 years. We always order through the website and someone delivers early the next day. We ran out of oil yesterday and put in an order, this morning when no one showed up, the woman who answered the phone was very rude and told us they did have not have a ticket and there was nothing we could do. She told us to order somewhere else, so we did. All Island Fuel was so friendly and said they would be here in a few hours. Never again will we use Bay Fuel.

My burner had a leak. Harry the technician came and repaired my leak. He was very friendly and knowledgeable. The price was very reasonable and he did a great job. Thank you so much. Im currently a recent homeowner and will use them going forward for my heating needs. Thanks again for a great job.

Driver showed up @ 6am filled tank just enough (didnt fill up) so to charge more per gallon ! Total rip off !

Last year I needed a new oil burner/boiler after the one in my house failed. I called multiple companies and Bay had the best price by a wide margin. They came and installed quickly. I still use them for COD oil delivery as the prices are good and they come the next day after calling.

Its an honest, hardworking oil company..Ive dealt with a dozen others... getting oil is easy as can be with Bay...its the service that stands out though! I have a near 30 year old boiler and something is always going wrong, the techs are swift with a fix and always have great response times! Thank you Bay and Bays service team for keeping my system going. Even after I replace this unit I will stay in contract as it pays for itself with service!!

Need them to come in and service my oil fired water heater. Matthew was great. Did the job quickly and didnt try to beat me over the head with up sells. I would definitely use them again. Thanks fellas.

Joined them at beginning of year and so far been satisfied with their service. Unlike other companies I have used in the past, this company contacted me immediately after signing up to make appointment for annual tune-up. Other larger oil companies made it virtually impossible to get the annual tune-up done.

I have purchased home heating oil from Bay feul for years. They are honest,hardworking, and friendly people. They deliver when they say they will. They beat competitors verified price by four cents per gallon. The driver realized that I had over paid and brought the money back to me instead of keeping it.I highly recommend them. Their feul is clean. I never had a problem after a fill up.I am a grateful customer.

Tune-up technician breaks an oil tube causing small oil leak and hours waiting for another technician to repair leak. New tech leaves rags under burner. Thankfully I checked boiler after tech left, no fire. I was told I would get calls when techs are on their way. I received none. Called MIKE, left message never received call back. Before signing up MIKE called me back every day. Received oil today (only 81.6 gallons) on new ticket as told by office worker. Illegal ticket, no time stamp and not enough information. Thank you Mike telling me Ill save money this year signing up with you and locking in at $2.949 per gallon. I paid over $1.00 more a gallon today for your contract, DISGUSTING RIP-OFF.

After seeing their ratings and meeting Mike, I was convinced I had the right company. I unfortunately want to share an experience I had with them on the coldest day of the year (3 degrees outside) - WE RAN OUT OF OIL I called the office to inquire and spoke with Annette. Her response to me was your account is past due - NO money NO oil. I let my emotions get the best of me at that point since I knew the bill was paid. I called back a second time after I verified the check was cashed and spoke with Christine. She found my check and explained there was an accounting error on their end. They dispatched a service tech (Tom) who put 20 gallons on diesel in my tank and started me up. I was told, the following day I would get an oil delivery (Sunday). When it was 1 pm, I called to ask for an ETA of which I was told no one works on Sundays from the answering service. As I was speaking to another company for an emergency oil delivery, the truck pulled up. When the driver handed me the bill, I noticed it did not have my contract price listed. I was paying retail. I am sure they are very nice people, and have fair pricing, but this experience was a cluster from beginning to end. I will rethink my business relationship with Bay Fuel.

THE REAL DEALI signed up with Bay Fuel oil about 3 months. The general service is excellent. Recently I had a problem with my oil burner. They came over and fixed the problem like true professionals. I give them my highest recommendation.

This is a great company. They were honest and the best price around. We had a clogged pipe that caused us to lose heat and hot water. I called first thing in the morning, and they sent their mechanic with in 2 hours. We were not a current customer and the treated us like we had used them for years. I will now be a customer for life.

So I ordered oil today and had a driver that came to my door he was very rude and was asking to see the cash before anything this is the worst service I have ever had I never had a problem with and other company. If I could give them no stars I would, very unprofessional.

Don’t order oil from here ever!! They called in the morning and said they were coming I asked how long because I’m out of oil they said the driver has a route but there in middle Island right now which is 15 minutes away from me. So I waited 4 hours later I call back the lady I first talked to did not relay the message that I was completely out of oil so the other lady said she would let the driver know we are the next stop. 2 hours later still waiting I call them again and all they say is they’ll be here soon. Very disgusting how they treat customers!

I just got a refill of oil after I ran out. After bleeding it the burner wouldnt stay on and of course no hot water. As I got my mail I started searching through the Hometown news paper for a service company. I saw their ad and looked them up on Google to check there reviews as to avoid being disappointed by unscrupulous, unknowledgeable so called companies and professionals. I was shocked to see their review 5 star average. I said hmm it must be manipulated. I am her to tell you its not, the technician Matt was a delight. Guy got too it right away. Knew exactly what he was doing broke down the situation systematically fixed the problem. As well he corrected other mistakes from previous installation and boiler technicians in such a timely and efficient manner. Imagine no more little floods in my basement, no more dumping buckets of water several times a day. These guys are legit at a very fair price. Thanks Matt!!!!

I bought my first house in late 2011, first few times I ordered oil I used 2 different companies. The third time I called Bay at the recommendation of my father-in-law. Their price was 2 cents cheaper than anyone else I called without having to negotiate, and so far they have always delivered the same day that I call them.I highly recommend them. I dont have time to call around and negotiate pricing for Home Heating Oil.. they deliver on time, have clean trucks, and are the right price..

I had a burner problem that made my boiler inoperable. Matthew a burner tech checked my system and quickly found the problem. Here.The fixed the problem in the motor and igniter and corrected the problem. I liked his effectiveness and accuracy and honesty in correcting it.I highly recommend his service.

Beware !!!!!!!!!!Had contract they missed the oil delivery Burner ran out of fuel.Baseboard pipes broke .Their answer to me that you had fuel.I told them my brother tput fuel in the tank and start at the Oil burner.Good luck on their emergency number.You will get a confusing recording.Spoke to the owner . After arguing he hung up the phone on me.Call again never heard from him .If you’re counting on keeping warm don’t use this company

Please stay away from bay fuel oil..i am the most understanding person in the world as i run my own business and have dealt with some very tough clients. i have been a customer of bay fuel for over 15 years and have great success with the for most of the time.i dont know what is going on but three years ago they over filled me and my basement was flooded as my front lawn was flooded as well. i had to do the construction on my basement to get rid of the smell and the stained carpet and doors and trim.and now for the past three years they have let me run out of fuel once a year for the last two years and already twice this year!! i have a service contract and my boiler is leaking and the circulators are all green and leaking as welli have given them leads and really tried to do the right thing but never have they reached out to me and apologized or anything like that. i called last night at at 12.43 and got their service and was told that matt would call me back and take care of the issue. they never called back until 8.30 this morning and said that they never received payment. i was switched over from one girl to the next and than was switched to michelle the owner . after being on hold for ten minutes i hung up and said they were probably busy and would call back..guess what they never called back and that is why i will never use them or recommend bay fuel to anyone!!! there are way too many others out there
