Very well stocked! Great bakery department! Very friendly associates!

DO NOT SHOP HERE! TERRIBLE service, BAD Manangement they do not respect there THEIR OWN associates. Deserves a 1 star.

I’d like to start by saying that I appreciate the employees and all they do for us customers. However, it is disheartening to encounter certain employees — mainly the ones in the self-checkout aisle — complaining about “frequent customers” and how often they go. (I have overheard a certain worker harrumphing about this to other employees and even to customers.) I for one live in the neighborhood and have a serious hypochondria issue, which means I have to follow a restrictive diet where I have to buy certain food items with frequency. I am sorry if my “stopping and frequently shopping” bothers a certain employee, but I don’t see why this would be such a problem. It’s like a pet shop worker complaining about the frequency of animal-lovers entering the shop. We’re not trying to annoy you, we’re just there to shop! Other than that, I am happy with the service.

Everything was perfect into me and my mom when to pay the lady a thw self checkout I think she dont like dark people n my mom n I feel so uncomfortable washing u with disgusting face like we was stealing or shoplifting I believe her name is ...Theresa! Wow she need customer service class 🙄 sad the in this time 2021 still people like 😔

I just stopped in for a quick trip to get some orange juice.The store was clean and well stocked, not too full of people, and my checkout was quick and easy.Im not from the Holyoke area, but Id gladly shop here anytime.This particular store has a gas station too, so you can kill two birds with one stone.

Good variety of product to get on the shelves. Slightly bigger than the store closer to home (Lincoln street). Been a loyal customer for many years & enjoy the rewards. Cant go wrong with them.

The GO TO of all go tos. Deli selection is phenomenal and theyll give you a sample if you want to buy something new bt not sure about its taste. I absolutely Love that they offer a choice between name brand and store brand. I promise you Cannot tell the difference!

The best personality ever through out every single department! The deli crew lead by Jorge is beyond incredible! The beautiful young lady at the pharmacy and Chris are really great and never forget your face! The bakery also and everyone pretty much is the best there I wouldnt shop at any other stop and shop again

Shelves were not stocked as they should be. Couldnt get 3 items I usually buy.

The deli area of this particular Stop & Shop is a great place to buy deli meats. Dominic, the Deli Manager maintains a great working area. His staff is very knowledgeable and upbeat and positive about their jobs. Thanks Stop & Shop of Northampton Street Holyoke.

Need to check receipt to make sure you get your gas points not always added. For Thanksgiving ordered their already prepared dinner. I dont recommend it. Was $60. The turkey was excellent yet all the fixings not to good. Mash potatoes full of water, green bean casserole mush. Stuffing horrible. Sweet potatoes not to bad and pie was good.

I came here with my mom. Is because she had to buy more orange juice, wheat bread and white bread, Arizona ice tea and table talk pies. This place has a huge parking lot that has handicapped parking and handicap accessible entrance. The floors are clean the staff were nice to me and my mom. The shelves were stacked nice and neat. They have a bakery that sells donuts, pies, cakes, muffins, and cookies. They also sell lunch meat like turkey and ham. They also sell cheese and dairy products.

I was very disgusted and disappointed when I asked an employee to wipe down the self check out lane and she, very rudely told me that they don’t do that bc “you’ll be here all day”. The stop and shop in Chicopee is always cleaning their self check out lanes I. Between customers. I went to the holyoke one bc it was on my way back home (I live in Chicopee), driving back from the reservoir. Next time, I’ll just wait to get to Chicopee and I’ll stop at the one next to my house.

I like Stop &Shop so Im probably gonnago back. But the last three trips I have spent more time in line than shopping. Its a free-for-all with giant lines. Bring a lot of money and extra time or dont go at all!

Cant say enough about workers. Only issue is with homeless person loitering around. Sorry for that person s plight but there are shoppers who go in and out some with children and this person is outside sometimes yelling and screaming. Hope management csn do something about matter.

I still prefer having a cashier. If you’re checking out more than five things, or stuff with no barcode, those self-checkouts are such a pain. But there never seems to be more than two cashiers open at a time anymore.

They had lots of toilet paper. No Clorox wipes. Seemed to have most of everything else

Great RX personnel, but they need more people, especially on weekends. Cashiers, I can think of 3 or 4 in particular that are great. I even say hi by name. I wish S & S can be bigger and deliver. Today one of the store managers took the time to make sure I was finding what I needed. I LOVE Stop and Shop on the Kmart plaza, Northampton street in Holyoke. MA. Keep up to Great Work.

Stop & Shop is one of my favorite grocery stores whether its in Holyoke or West Springfield, they always cater to me. And help me anytime I need it and the sales are always good!Alyssa in the West Springfield store is very nice and has perfect customer service skills.

This Store is very old and dirty. It is in need of a makeover.

Stop and Shop seems to be going steadily downhill in most of the area stores. Quality seems to fluctuate, never as high as it once was. They always seem to be out of something, or you cant find it because the store is being reorganized yet again. The push to get people to use the self checkout is pretty unappealing as well. If I wanted to work there, Id apply for a job.

I like the layout of this store, but I prefer the one on Lincoln Street for service and professionalism of the staff. This store on Northampton street could be better managed, I dont know whats going on.

Zero stars they herd you like the cattle they think you are into the self checkout registers that never seem to work. Im grateful i am sober today because the old drunk Chris would have destroyed the kiosk and walked out without paying. I should be getiing this food for free if i wanted to be a cashier id work at Big Y not Stop n Shop

I like shopping at Stop and Shopbon Northampton St. in Holyoke because of itsconvenience. My biggest complaint is thatthere are NEVER enough registers open even at peak times. Rarely are there baggers as well.I am getting closer to changing markets even though I may need to travel a little further. I will be able to get to a different market in less time and with less frustration than waiting 10-15minutes to be checked out.DPG

Always my go to store for grocerys very clean and easy to find what i need

Sunday must be the wrong day to go to the store. Tons of stuff was on sale because it was about to expire. And the milk section was completely decimated. I could only find a 1 quart 2% milk what I was looking for an entire gallon of 2%. Everyone was using the self-checkout Lane so there was a little wait in line.

Somewhat above average selection... and prices... 🙁

Neither Stop & Shop in Holyoke sells goat milk or goat yogurt. And the selection of goat cheese is very slim, and overpriced.

Today staff came back from a strike, supermarket should be close for cleaning and get that smells out....happy for the workers and the costumers. At the end workers lost pay and the Supermarket lost revenues and produce.

This Stop & Shop is no different than any other Stop & Shop store. It has pretty much the same of everything and layout is the same nothing spectacular or bad about this place

They have everything but too expensive ur better off going to Springfield every thing is cheaper
