Went in for 5,000 mile routine maintenance. Mentioned that we’d been having an issue with a tire holding air. Told it would be a four hour wait, and it was, but work was done. Slow leak found in the tire, that was patched and taken care of. Customer service was great. Checked on me several times to make sure I was good and didn’t need anything. Kind, very friendly. Appreciate that level of customer service, and don’t mind waiting when things are being properly checked and taken care of!

Went in for an oil change & tire rotation. Ms. Keirstin was friendly & very customer service oriented. Mr. Michael was the vehicle technician. A short video was sent to me while in the lovely waiting area assessing my vehicle & the multipoint inspection. The inspection & narration was done by Mr. MichaelIt is a new feature at HOOVER TOYOTA & it is great. The staff wore 😷 masks & the several customers in the waiting area were able to social distance without a problem. THANKS HOOVER TOYOTA!🚘

Communication was the thing that stood out most to me by Vincent and service was great with accommodations for the time my wifes car was in service. Even at the check out area, they double checked to make sure all items on the bill were suppose to be there. By doing that, they caught an item that did not belong and corrected the issue. That was nice to see and receive that particular type of service.

I would recommend Hoover Toyota service department to anyone who owns a Toyota. We didnt buy the car here, but if the sales department is anything like the service department you will have a good experience. I always take my wifes car to the dealership because of past experiences elsewhere, however I feel totally confident to let her take her car to Hoover Toyota by herself. People like Sherry are the reason I’ve been coming back here for service for almost 10 years now instead of going to independent shops. A lady named Amberly was my customer service rep on this visit. She was so helpful and very efficient. She seemed extremely knowledgeable and was able to help expedite my service request due to I had a later appointment that I had to meet that time frame. It is so nice to be met with someone that takes pride in their job…. Most especially these days since Covid where so many have an attitude or really do not want to work and it shows. I did not have an appointment but was in that area and just stopped by. I hope the next time I get her to help me. She was kind and smart and very helpful. I really really appreciated her.

I bought my first Toyota in 1991 from these guys and have been lucky enough to always have had Jonathan Geisen as my service writer. After 30 years, I am on my fourth Toyota, and 2 of the other 3 are still in our family. Although everyone in Service there is wonderful, Jonathan is without equal. It is a pleasure to take your car into him. He always remembers you and makes you feel like you are the most important customer he has ever had. I contacted the dealership with interest in buying a used car, and checked to make sure it was available and was informed that it was. I live in Tuscaloosa, so wanted to make sure it was there before I drove all the way out. I asked again the morning before I drove up to Hoover, and was assured again that i had not been sold and was still in inventory. I arrived the same day, and waited 20 minutes just to be told that the vehicle had been sold, but was still appearing in inventory. If this was the case, why was this not checked before confirming twice to me that it was still available? The answer? Laziness and a lack of care. I promptly drove to Drive Time, and received the opposite level of service and purchased a different vehicle. Will not be giving any future business to Hoover Toyota.

I have been a loyal customer of Hoover Toyota for many years and Matt, my service advisor, has always taken great care of me and our cars. We currently have four Toyota’s that are serviced there. My latest purchase was a used Tacoma that I wanted to have looked over, update the service needed and a few add-ons I wanted. As always Matt took extreme care and listened to what I wanted and explained what they would and could do.He even went as far to show me the TRD rims I wanted that they had in stock.Needless to say I am extremely happy with everything that was done and feel confident in driving this truck for many more miles.Thank you Matt and Barry, I’m a very happy man.

Its nice to see someone that prepared and ready to work at 6am on a Saturday morning. I really like the service hours too, as do a lot of people judging by the number of cars there so early on a Saturday. Im really enjoying owning my first Toyota. I have been a Honda guy all my life but that has now changed and Im a Toyota guy.

Hoover Toyota needs updated training on customer service for their representatives. I traveled from Georgia, working with a rep Brandon to purchase a vehicle. After confirming and agreeing to put a deposit down I was then told the following day that my vehicle had been sold. I don’t appreciate the poor communication in this transaction. It’s unbecoming of customer service representatives especially in sales. I won’t be returning to this dealership to purchase my first vehicle and will be filing a formal complaint with Toyota about how I was treated at this dealership.

I traveled 1 hour (45 miles) after I set an appointment. Got there timely- drove it and wanted it. I made an offer and it was accepted. I went to the bank and got the money out. Came back and they literally increased the price by $3,900. I wouldn’t recommend this dealer. Shady.

It takes up to 3 hours just for an oil change and or tire rotation. When you purchase a car from dealerships it comes with so many oil changes and tire rotations and they make it sound so convenient. They need to have an express lane for just oil changes and or tire rotations.

I had a great experience at Hoover Toyota. I had a number of issues with my car that needed to be addressed and Matt helped me through the process. He is professional, kind and has a wonderful calm demeanor, which is key for the times right now. Barry was also wonderful. He was fast and efficient and is clearly knowledgable. These guys are dealing with delivering frustrating news to customers having to wait for parts that they just cant get, and dealing with less employees than they need. Kindness and professionalism goes a long way in times when we all have to exercise a little more patience with the world and each other.

I took my car for a tune up. They were very busy that day but my service tech, Amberly was on it from the beginning. It did take a little longer than expected but Amberly was there the whole time checking in with me. In the end there was a small amount of grease on my seat which they immediately removed and sent me up to Anthony’s to get my seat shampooed. So, called Monday to order a part and was told exterior door handle -which broke off-on Toyota Camry -would be in on Tuesday and was told to set up a service appointment. Fast forward to Saturday and after driving to the appointment was called and told there was no part and no record of a part being ordered. I did not write down who I talked to- won’t make that mistake again. I just assumed that they were more organized than that. It was pointed out to me that I had not been in for service since 2019 by my service person after being read part of the descalation script. That is because I get my oil changed at Express Oil, but don’t think that was really relevant to the situation at hand. Fast forward to when I pick up my car and I told them what happened and I made sure I wrote down the name of the person that ordered the part this time. Oh did I mention my service rep was nowhere to be found? So I was told your car is either in the front parking lot or the side parking lot . Did I mention Hurricane Nicolas is passing over and roads are flooded, torrential rain and no one could bother to point me in the general vicinity of my car? Apparently customer service has a different meaning there. I was never told-I am sorry that happened -nothing. Those two words would have gone such a long way. Here are some suggestions for the manager of how his employees and he or she should handle this in the future -when a mistake like this happens and it will because that is life- say I’m sorry that this happened. We are going to make this right. We appreciate your business and are sorry that this happened. That is how I would have handled it- then I would have taken extra care of that person from then on out. Instead apparently no one cared. Did I mention that my husband who was in the parking lot helped me locate my car? Perhaps I received this level of service because I am a woman-it’s hard to know for sure.

Wish I could leave a 0. Terrible service!!!!! Did not communicate well. Put on hold for long periods only to leave a message that was most often not returned. Took way too long with the repair and did not care that I had no vehicle. They should have at least vacuumed up after themselves when done. Receptionist was rude. In prior visits, it took about an hour and a half for an oil change. They always told me I needed something else, and when I asked a mechanic friend, he said it was unnecessary. I bought 3 cars there, and because of this treatment, I bought a Ford…. Hope they are better.

Order wrong parts, tried to overcharge me for work. They ordered all the parts for one part of my truck because they couldnt figure out which part it was. Then tried to charge me for all the parts they ordered after the tech told me he could find what was broken. Then told me it would be 5 hours to fix a peice of plastic that has 2 bolts. 8am till 330 pm all day back and forth. Asked for my bill so i could move on with my day... hour and half later im still waiting. Worst service I have ever had at a dealership... never ever go here. Ever...below is the plastic piece with 2 bolts that needed replacing... 5 hours of labor for that. And 4 different parts???
