A praise shout-out to Teressa W at Hobby Lobby Hoover. She is so thoughtful and careful with everything item she rings up, and pays extra attention to what items are on sale. She also wraps items that need extra caution, not just breakables, to be on the safe side. Very friendly and warm. Love it when I get great customer service from anyone working the front of a retail store! Seems so hard to come by these days, and especially in Alabama.

Lack of a desire to help has happened several times. Most of the time we are pointed in the direction of an item. My comment is not being made lightly.

I love Hobby Lobby! I was looking for wall art for our new home theater and they have dinner great choices.

I found some beautiful beads that I want to make for myself. They are simply gorgeous. The store was nice, clean and very well organized. The cashier was really nice. This picture doesnt do these beads justice. Just go in and look at them for yourself.

I always love going to Hobby Lobby. I found a small chest of drawers I needed to store my craft supplies for my miniature builds. They always have fun things to look at. Prices are decent. The workers were very nice and helped me get my small chest of drawers into the back of my car.

I will never shop at this Hobby Lobby again. The management is a joke and they are RUDE. Contact corporate and they resolved the issue and offered me the items for free. I still refused because I didn’t want to enter this toxic place again. Good luck!

I hit 3 big stores today, and HL was the best one! Bright, clean, stocked, etc.I hit them first, but was stunned by the stark contrast when I went to the competition.Checkouts tend to be long, so either bring a book or $20 for candy at the counter. (They know our weakness.)

Typical Hobby Lobby. The store appeared to be older but it was clean and well maintained. It appeared to be well stocked. Honestly thats bout all I can say because the majority of the time I was playing games while following my wife around.

Like all of their stores, tons of stuff, reasonable prices, not all high quality merchandise, but adequate.

I made a huge mistake today. I just ran into Hobby Lobby in Hoover (a place that I don’t typically frequent), and nearly all of the employees at the check-out were without masks even though the vast majority of the customers I encountered *were* masked. I asked to speak with the customer service manager…WHO WAS NOT MASKED!! She said company policy was “mask only if you want to.”With Alabama just reaching a 35% vaccination rate, I will not be back to a Hobby Lobby for the duration of this pandemic, which may be NEVER if this is the level of “customer care” this company believes in.😕😕😕😕😕#buhbyetoHOLO#masksandvaccinesplease

I love all of your friendly faces when I come in and the level of customer service you provide. This is one of my favorite places to be. The product selection and endless amounts of creative avenues each aisle takes you down makes this place a must stop for me at least once a week. Plus, I appreciate the 40% off coupons! It is so pleasant to shop here. I just wanted to pick up a couple of things to decorate our guest bedroom but I found myself lingering and looking at everything! The staff are all friendly and helpful. Plenty of registers open so I didnt wait on a long line. I was checking out cross-stitch kits and candles humming along to Ed Sheerans Perfect playing over the store speakers. All shopping should be this relaxing and enjoyable.

Never ever have I felt so stalked/embarrassed in a store in my life. On 5/20/21 I was shopping at this hobby lobby for like a hour, my cart is full of items literally flooding over my cart. I stop down an aisle and sort out my items. I had an employee with a tablet rudely say excuse me as passing by. I just don’t even think about and continue going through my items. I was putting a couple of things up, I’m making a scrap book for my daughter and there were just a couple of items that I changed my mind on. This lady is staring at me uncomfortably and close to me to where I go down a different aisle. To my surprise she’s right there in under 30 seconds. I go down a different aisle because she just keeps staring at me and she’s close to me making me so uncomfortable. I go down a DIFFERENT aisle, under 30 seconds she’s right there again. At this point I’m like she’s following me... so I go down a different aisle and what do you know she’s right there again. I do this about 2-3 different times and she keeps doing this. I can’t even shop in peace at this point she’s got my aniexty/blood pressure so up I’ve never been followed and stared at so bad in an establishment. I finally confront her and say why are you following me? She responds saying she’s doing inventory and she would put my items up for me. I’m not sure if she was profiling me thinking I was going to steal stickers? Or if she just really didn’t like me. If your doing inventory for a store isn’t it aisle by aisle? I go to an assistant manager of the store but by this point I’m so embarrassed and humiliated I was almost in tears. I get extremely bad panic attacks and my medicine was not in my purse. Thank goodness it was in my car. I would of shopped for many more hours and got way more things. I almost got a second cart at one point. The assistant manager said he was sorry and that he would talk to her. I couldn’t even really talk to him cause I was just trying to breathe cause I was extremely close to having a panic attack. I’ve never been profiled/followed in a store before and I’ve never been charged/arrested for stealing. If they thought I was why not have a manager come up to me. Or invest in one of those beepy things that go off or have a security guard or have someone watch the 5000 cameras at that store. I literally didn’t put anything in my purse. I literally had my airpods in listening to music getting excited for all the crafts and stuff I was about to get. I literally spent $292 today, would of spent more if I didn’t get followed. I talked to customer service and they were amazing I just still feel really uneasy about this whole situation. A customer should never have to worry about an employee making them feel this uncomfortable to where there about to have a panic attack. I just really don’t want anyone else to experience this, I am younger with tattoos so maybe this was why they profiled me? Any who I do love hobby lobby items the paper aisle ( which is the one I kept getting followed at ) is 50% off and I recommend going online they have such great stuff. The assistant manager was nice so was everybody else: to the blonde lady who got the manager for me thank you. Wish I could remeber your name your kindness made me not have a full blown out panic attack today thank you so much for that. I’ve just never gotten followed before and It’s just not a good feeling I hope nobody goes through what I experienced today. Sorry this review is long but I feel like this needs to be public information. I’m hoping that this store gets better policy’s about profiling people especially when they HAVEN’T STOLEN ANYTHING. I never stolen anything from this store in my life. I’m just so angry because I feel so embarrassed. I had a former employer of mine walk into me at this store as I’m getting a manager. Not a great look for me. Suggestion: maybe have a cart in public where people can put items back they changed there mind on so somebody is not following them saying they will put those items back for them.

Love this Hobby Lobby but one of the managers/overseers is not the kindest or happiest to be working there. Id have to say she is in her early 60s with short grey hair. My husband and I have seen her working multiple times. She yells at employees in front of customers. On one occasion, we were shocked to watch that she kept rolling her eyes whenever someone walked into the store. Great location...grumpy manager. The cashiers are to kind at this location and dont to deserve bad management and customers dont deserve to listen to her yell and roll her eyes.

The store was very busy and a few of the employees weren’t wearing masks. But a worker named Savanah deserves a 6/5 stars for her amazing custom service and her wonderful social abilities! Such a sweet young woman! :)

Great place for the imaginitive-type consumer. Large stock of creative mediums and accessories; custom picture framing, floral decor, model cars, chairs, shelving, wall & home fillers, science project kits, candy. Theres also a knitting section which Ive only observed incidentally. But I do know that you can get sewing stuff here too. Oh, and Hobby Lobby sells art supplies too, my favourite department.

Good place to get all different kinds of home decor and crafts. We get a lot of holiday decorations here. If something isnt on sale, give it a week. They always have sales on their inventory.

Love this store! It is in my top two favorite stores. You can always find stuff to do. Love the art supplies. Clearance walls are always fabulous. I always find great stuff. Oil paint, brushes, drawing paper, jewelry stuff, miniatures, etc. You can spend hours looking for stuff and not see everything. Great store.
