This is one of the best Leather stores I have ever been to. Tons of selections... excellent array of tools and fittings. They teach classes and have a very knowledgeable staff... A+ kinda place.

Joseph made me a ostrich skin wallet for my friends birthday and Christmas present. He did it lightning quick and it is one of a kind. It is amazing looking .I like it so much I’m getting him to make a wallet for me that will hold my retirement police badge. You can’t go wrong using him.

I havent been working with leather for very long but every time Ive been to the store it has been clean, well organized and the product selection is great. The staff are extremely pleasant and helpful. They take the time to answer my questions and help me choose the right leather and accessories for my projects since Im still learning.I took one of the beginner classes they offer and it helped my leather work improve greatly. Matt, who was my instructor, was awesome and I learned so much from his class. They offer several different other leather classes and I plan on coming back and taking some more. If you want to learn about making things out of leather this is the place to go.

The good people at Tandy Leather taught me how to change the snaps on a favorite pair of shoes and declined payment for either the snaps or their expertise. I am impressed and grateful. Thank you!

The prices on the leather were very good, the site was clean, and the prices on tools and kits werent bad. The staff were poliet but standoffish.Now for the reason my review is so low. I was here shopping with my two roommates. One of them who is make went up to pay for an item, and I was right beside him waiting to pay for my item once he paid for his. The clerk finished my roommates transaction, I set my item on the counter to be rung up, and the clerk just walked away. Not long after that he and the other clerk walked outside via the back door.At that point I was tempted to just take my item and walk out the door. What I ended up doing was just leaving it on the counter and walking out of the store.I have no idea why the clerk ignored me and my item. Part of me wonders if its because Im female and he didnt think I could possible be purchasing anything. It could also be that he was just about to go on a smoke break and couldnt be bothered to handle one more customer. There are so many possibilities, and all I can do is guess. No matter what the reason, it was still just a very upsetting experience.

These people are wonderful. I didnt know anything about leather the first day I walked in there. Im working on a multi-media piece of art and wanted to incorporate leather and they have held my hand the whole way. They are so knowledgeable and so genuinely kind which you dont really find much any more.

You wont find a greater group of folks to help you with your leather needs. Very knowledgeable without the attitude no matter your skill level.I started my leather journey here and the entire time they are there to help me out when I need an expert opinion or tip.If youre interested in starting leathercraft, you couldnt ask for a better place to start YOUR journey.

I placed an online order that I needed very urgently, they called to confirm that shipping was supposed to be next-day. I said yes I do and explained the emergency.They sent the package 2-day anyways. When I called to let them know, there was no apology whatsoever. I realize it was too late to fix the situation when I called, but no one even said they are sorry for the issue.Now I have 20 homeless people being bussed to my location tomorrow to learn leathercraft and I have no thread.

This place is amazing the when looking for your leather and accessories. I was amazed by the amount of help some of the staff give me each time I visited.

I researched the internet for quite a while but Tandy Leather is The place to go. The staff is very helpful and will spend 30 min looking for a perfect leather cord with you or go through their inventory of hides. Beginner or professional, they most likely have what you need and will provide tips if you ask.

Excellent product inventory. Knowledgeable, helpful staff. Super fast online order processing and shipping. Placed an online order Tuesday am and recieved order Wednesday pm...... cant beat that service!
