The Meineke team went above and beyond to service my truck. Each team member was friendly with the management staff being extremely helpful and knowledgeable as well. I arrived a little late and at first they said I’d have to return the next day, which I certainly understood. However the manager stepped out of his office and said they would go ahead and take care of me if I didn’t mind waiting a few minutes. I immediately agreed and was done and out of there within 30 minutes. The time and attention to customers is impeccable. This manager was amazing and so were the employees. I went in for a weird park brake light that came on my dash occasionally. Devin diagnosed it and let me know what the possibilities could be but that I would need to follow-up with the dealership. He assured me there were no driveability concerns but that was a service not provided there. I appreciate his honesty, good nature and professionalism.
I came In for an oil change and rear brake pad an roters. It was a fair price. Fast. And friendly. No gimmicks. Or trying to get over on me for being a woman. Didn’t give me a list of unnecessary stuff I need to get done on my car like most other places. Will be back!
I am on a cross country road trip moving from NY to CA. I’m not a native NY’er. And I spent a long time living in the south prior to my move, so I chose the southern route to travel. I had my exhaust replaced before I left NY. A few miles into my trip, I knew I had a problem. My muffler was hitting my bumper. I was able to have that fixed in VA. The repair shop there, and myself, thought that was all that was needed as it was very obviously an issue. Well, getting back on the road, even tho it was better, I still had some knocking. I called on my way to Horn Lake, my next stop. I told them what I had going on, that I was only in town for a night, and asked if I needed an appointment. They told me be there at 730 when they opened and I was happy to do so. When I pulled in the parking lot I was nervous because there were already several people waiting for them to open. I told the man at the counter that I had to check out of my hotel room by 11. And I really needed to be gone by 1030 and I knew that wasn’t giving them a lot of time, so if they ran into something to let me know, and I would extend my stay a day. I didn’t tell them, that would have really messed up my trip, but, they were doing me a solid by even getting me in on short notice as busy as they were, and I didn’t want to rush them. They told me not to worry, and they’d take a look. I went to breakfast and by the time I was back, they were fixing my exhaust. They had to take it down, shorten it, and put it back on. The lobby was packed. I stood outside and watched. I know a little about cars. They were quick, clean, professional, and so very kind. I am truly grateful for them getting me safely back on the road, and out their door by a little after 9am! Thank you, so much, to this wonderful shop. I’m traveling with my husband and 3 cats and it’s a long LONG trip. I feel blessed to have found these guys, and can not express my gratitude for their good work and kindness.
They put an aftermarket exhaust on my truck, and it sounds decent. They couldn’t use the mufflers I originally wanted, but it was still decent. I checked how well they did welding it together when I got home, and it was not exactly how I wanted. They welded it to my exhaust headers when I wanted it bolted on to there. Otherwise it was ok. For the price it could’ve been better.
They repaired my muffler fast and with great service! It ended up pricing out cheaper than I thought! I would absolutely come here again.

The manager, for the second time, was very nonchalant and unconcerned. I told him my car shakes when I got brakes. He found the brakes to be fine. I asked why was the car shaking, and he said I may need tires. I told him the tires were brand new and it was shaking before I bought the tires. He said, well I dont know. I asked how can we find out, as I assumed they would find out. He said they would have to do a full inspection as it could be the suspension. The whole point for me, was to find out the problem. I had already been there almost 2 hours and they did not bother to tell me during the repairs that they needed to check something else. I just paid and left because he did not seem to want to get to the root of the problem. This is the same manager that told me my oil bolt wasnt on tight enough on my last visit. They changed the oil previously and the tech didnt tighten the bolt, but the manager never apologized, simply sent me on my way. Ive said it before and this time I mean it, I will not be going back to Mineke in HornLake, MS AGAIN. White people get far more respect, I saw it yesterday and Ive seen it in the past.
Hard to get only a oil change. If you not getting a lot done to your vehicle you cant get service that day or wsit 2 to 3 hours. Meineke has oil change under the sign out front. Needs to take that off. R l Rodgers came back at least 4 times. Still had to wait. But finally succeed in getting my oil changed. Thanks

I appreciate Mikes customer service and their speedy service. I brought my own oil 0-W20 and oil filter and they only reason I am not giving them five stars is for the following reasons:1. They did my oil change and the sticker they put on my car showing the next oil change date and mileage was a sticker for 5-W20 and that makes me now wonder if they used the high mileage,full synthetic motor oil and premium oil filter I provided for them to use on my car.2. After doing the oil change,they failed to reprogram my computer,so after I left and travelled to another state,my maintenance required light came on as if the car had not yet been serviced. So Im not happy about that.3. They violated my privacy. They asked for my phone number prior to servicing my car and I gave them in good faith, only for them to turn around and start texting my phone unsolicited, soliciting me to leave them a review. I do not appreciate that.

My Service was replacing Thermostat (4)oil sensor, oil switch, and flush, totaling 1175. On 7-6-2021 my car began to run hot. I called Meineke, described the issue was. On 7-7-21 around 9 my car was towed to Meineke. The driver was able to start my car. My husband and I described my issue. The store Manager (jon, nice man) said theyll look at it. He called back a couple hours later. He said my car had 7 indicators (codes) and price. Things things that I paid for. He explained why it cost so much, because it takes time to remove all of those thing. I asked were his worked Certified. He said yes. I asked was He sure that this would take care of my problem, Jon said yes. He said the iz should be fixed of the day. Jon called me later said all the parts werent delivered and it wont be be ready until July 8th.Jon calls me around 1 on July 8th. My sister just happen to be in Meineke because her air stopped working. She saw my car and told me. She came to pick me up and let them look at her car about her AC. I paid for my service. I asked the tech bout the warranty. I also asked were they Certified and he said no.He said he thinks it 12000 miles 12 months. Jon can tell me that he wasnt sure. Jon Was in the restroom. Jon was in the rest room for 20 minutes. While He was in the restroom. My sister, this tech and myself discussed certification. He said its worthless and work experience is how they are employeed. I test drove my car around Meinekes small parking lot twice then up and down the street next to it for about 10 minutes. Jon Was still in the restroom when I came back. He came out finally. I asked Jon about the Warranty. He said 12 months 12000 miles. I asked do you have a printout? He said no. I asked can He sign and date saying 12000 miles 12 months on my receipt. He wrote 12 months Warranty in red with no signature. I took a picture of the faded Warranty sign Displayed. Jon said that is not the same Warranty. Im confused about the Warranty at this point and question him more. No resolution but I drove my car home. When I got home on july 8th around 4, my car had an odd smell and was leaving really bad. I called Jon immediately and told hin. He said its condensation from the AC. That did stop. I never moved my car except to wash it. The next morning july 9th, 2021 my car started with no issueI was on my way to work. I was driving for about 15 minutes. This is around 8:45. My car starts to smoke a little but running with no issue. I called and spoke with Jon. He said its probably just burning Fumes that may have spilled. I drove my car to Meineke. The car light indicating that it was running hot appeared right before I got to Meineke. I made it to Meineke around 9. They look at my car right there. Popper my hood. My husband Was there at this point. Jon then tried to explain to me what was going on and another tech was looking with him. He said the fluids are leaking somewhere and they have to figure out where its coming from. Jon showed me a puddle of fluids sitting in this area that was the shape of a bowl. He said he will take a look at it. Jon called me back about 1 on july 9 and told me I need a water pump and the could do it. It will need to go to Landers. I yelled at him a lot. He asked me to let him explain w/o interruption. Jon stated that it was a coincidence that I needed a water pump now and apologized. Meineke couldnt provide this service because my water pump was timing driven. I asked for no interruptions. I asked can a waterpump cause car to run hot(yes). Why not check it? Their system does not tell that. I let Jon know that hdidnt provide me all the info or issfor me to make a more informed decision. I come for my car, asked for Warranty and diagnosis. It wouldnt start and I couldnt put it in neutral for a tow. I asked why wasnt I told told, Jon said he assume I knew. I told him I paid him to inform me of my issues.I called the number on My receipt, it led me to another Meineke and the previous owner,Steven. ve methe number. Made a complaint, took my car somewhere else. Still no Steven.

Brought in my car with air conditioning issue and came out with catalytic converter issue.The car AC is working fine now but the car is making rattling noise everytime you press on the gas pedal or turn on the AC. Also the car feels like its making a dragging feel whenever you drive it.The employee said the rattling noise is normal when you turn on the AC because the compressor is starting and it should go away when they replace the catalytic converter.. but the rattling noise stays there even after turning on the AC and when you’re just pressing on the gas pedal.I dont know anything about cars but i know what my car feels like and sounds like when i brought it in, and i can say that my car came out with more expensive issue than just AC converter and condenser..Spent almost $1,500 and now will have to spend more for whatever the catalytic converter is..

Everything was okay except the price. I came for the special (19.95) and left paying 47 bucks. I was charged for the oil that was supposed to be included and for an air filter. Im not saying it wasnt needed but the increase caught me off guard.
Very poor service they didnt tighten my oil filter all the way up and I took it showing the problem they saying I need I need a head gasket and oil pouring out of my car almost locked my engine up they are bad for business

Must be new management. They tried to get me to buy hundreds of dollars of work that the car absolutely did not need. Who knows how many people they have done that to. I just happen to know what I am looking at with rotors and pads. I will never go there again. Avoid them.

Didnt say excuse me for a second to take a call, just answered and began talking to the person on the phone mid-sentence while answering my question. Paused the phone conversation to talk to a service tech and finished the phone call before completing the answer to my question... very poor customer service... Didnt seem concerned... I will push my vehicle somewhere else if it breaks down here...
I had just replaced the entire front brake system, Rotors, pads, hose, wheel bearings, etc.The only issue I had was a Caliper not wanting to release. I had already changed the rotor and pads out twice.I explained this to the guy there, and he said I was given the wrong parts, and they would have to replace ALL the new parts I just put on with their stuff.I asked why when the only problem was one side sticking, they never would give me a straight answer and changed me over $1kI do not understand why they couldn’t have just fixed the one caliper.I feel like I was robbed!

Came here for the first time. Absolutely love the atmosphere. We were waiting for my oil change, and the manager gave my son candy while we waited. Such a professional and great experience. We will def. be back. This is hands down the best experience I have had with a car service place.

The shop was very busy and I was ok with having to reschedule, but the manager was very rude and not accommodating at all. I left and visited jiffy lube across the street busy as well but great customer service. It pays to just simply smile and give great customer service. The bottom line is I had an appointment. I’m not saying I get priority but why treat me like I’m not suppose to schedule an appointment and then confirmed the appointment.7/19/2020So someone replied to my review! I also sent in an email to corporate office regarding the my visit and have yet to receive a response. I think the review reply is automated. I did get the best customer service at jiffy lube In horn lake so I will not have to return to this location. I’m sure you could care less about one customer. Charged 700.00 to fix an issue that they didnt fix.
I usually don’t have any issues to complain about, but my truck was showing check traction control and that’s what I needed fixed. The mechanics did some emission work and my truck is still doing the same thing. It runs good but just a slight release of the gas pedal it won’t coast. Like something is pulling me back. $700+ not happy
My car started making noise after they put synthetic oil in my car with miles of 90,000!! Car started jacking and wouldn’t pull small hills! Asked to speak with manager and he is unprofessional as they come!! Typical janky oil company!! Never will come again
I took my car to get ac fixed. They said that I needed a compressor but still charged me $231 dollars and ac is blowing worse. A waste of time and money

So far so good. I got a 40 series flowmaster muffler with a dual exhaust conversion and its sounds exactly how I wanted it to. The people knew exactly what they were talking about and looks like they know what their doing. I recommend this place.

I was promptly greeted when I stopped in. Fortunately they were able to take a look at my car at that time. They told me what work was needed and were able to fix it in a couple pf hours. They were having a sale so we got quite a discount. I felt that the price was reasonable.

I’ve been here twice. The first time the manager told me it would be about a 30 minute wait. It ended up taking 3 1/2 hours. The techs in the work area were mostly playing on their phones but once in a while they’d take a break from that to smoke. The second time, I went for a front end alignment. They had a vehicle on the alignment rack, torn down and waiting for parts. There were other racks open but they chose to use the alignment rack for this. Everyone there is lazy and in no hurry to get anything done. They expect you to leave your car there for hours for repairs that anyone could do in 30 minutes. Stay away from this place.
Great fast and swift service
Recently my vehicle needed a tune up. I tried to save money by doing it myself. I cross threaded one of the spark plugs and it blew out of the block. I took it to Meinike to have them look at it. They were able to sleeve the block and reinstall the spark plug for a reasonable price. They told me it was a temporary fix and I would need to replace the head eventually. 9 months later the sleeve blew out. I took it back to Meinike to have them replace the head. Instead of replacing just the head they were able to replace the entire engine for a lower price than rebuilding the top half of the motor. They told me it would take 5 days to do the job. They worked hard getting the engine delivered and installed in 3 days. The guys even came in on their day off to get it done. I was very impressed with the professionalism and speed in which they were able to get the job done. I will never work on my vehicle my self again. I will take my vehicle to the guys at the Horn Lake, MS Meinike for all my service needs from now on. Thank you guys, keep up the great work. Excellent service, professionalism, and courteous service is hard to find these days and yall are second to none.

I am the owner of the vehicle and the one who did business with Meineke. I wanted to leave my personal opinion.)True, my car was out roughly 5 weeks due to issues securing replacement parts (as well as issues with the car itself); however, Meineke really went to great lengths to deliver quality service. A couple of parts and even a repair on a bad gear shift cable were free for the length of time my car was with them. They gave clarification on the reasons behind delays, and they were always pleasant whenever I inquired about my vehicle. I would also like to add that the manager at this location is very nice.My only suggestion is to communicate a bit better with customers. As soon as you encounter a problem that may cause a delay, just let them know.All in all, I am very happy with how things turned out. Car runs great, and I am satisfied. Thank you! :)
I got an oil change and tire rotation, wasnt a long wait, the up selling was a bit much, they told me I needed wipers yet I replaced them last week. I get it but make sure its something we really need.

I had my Daughters Catalytic converters go out just before she had to leave for school, no one could get their hands on the parts except for the guys. Oh and it was Newyears Eve on that, and they found the parts and had it repaired in only a couple hrs . They pulled a rabbit out of their hat on this one and I’m grateful for that.Steve

I received a oil change for 3000 miles synthetic blend? But it was understood I would receive a full synthetic blend for 5000 miles? This was misleading information when I came in for a conventional oil change? I felt like I was not getting the device that was expecting? Managment needs to make it very clear of the service the customer is getting and not just getting customers business?
