Such a great buying experience...found the Whirlpool range that I was looking for at $$$$$ below what others were asking..which was awesome..BUT what stood out the most to us was as they were loading our range into our truck, the bottom drawer fell out..the position the stove was in, they were able to see a problem that might arise...instead of saying let me fix it, they found an even better range and swapped it for the one with the problem...at no additional cost! We will be buying a new refrigerator in the near future and you can bet we will pay Solo a visit..very honest people!

Great place for New and Mild Scratch and Dent Appliances

This place is great! I saved around 600.00 in total on a very nice Whirlpool washer and dryer. Sure, it didnt come in a box but after visiting the location I was happy with the condition. The units even came with the factory warranty!

I went today to buy a refrigerator a washer and dryer on cash the super discount on the refrigerator $1250 with a bunch of scratches plus tax, I went out the guy dont want to make a better deal and loose a $2000+ sale. I found the same brand and model at Home Depot brand new without dent or scratches for $1302 what a discount they try to gave me

Im moving into a new house and appliance shopping is NOT fun. I was trying to balance price with quality brand and Solo Appliance was the one place I found that could makes that happen. Purchased a 4 door Whirlpool fridge about 10 months ago and paid $1,200 less than advertised at Best Buy. Yes it had a dent about the size of a marble in the right side but youd never know unless you pulled out the fridge. 100% recommend giving them a look! Friendly staff and best prices in Houston for what I was looking for.

Wont supply power cords or hoses with the machines they sale them separate for additional price for about $60 on top of the hundreds you pay out for the machines. very rude when u ask about the hoses and power cords. Would be five stars if they worked on their customer service and this hoses and power cords came with machines,not to mention it would definitely help out their business. After all they are a resale shop, they need to do business against major appliance stores.

I was at difference outlets and stores in Houston to find deals for my rentals. Solo Appliances so far the best place to shop. They have great deals that no where can beat them. The appliances I got had zero dent and damage. The salesman Connor provided excellent service. He went above and beyond helped me find the rare double ovens I needed (24 inches). He gave me advises of what I should get that I would get the most for the money I spent. I just told him what I needed, my budget, the purposes of my purchase, he took time to show/explained things to me. Overall very happy to shop at Solo. I already referred them to my friends. I wish I knew this place earlier. Will not shop at any other place from now on.

Do not be discourage that this place is in a warehouse!! All the appliances are the exact same you will see at any other store but at fractions of the cost. In addition, Connor was super helpful and extremely accommodating with all of our questions without being the stereotypical super pushy salesman. He is more than willing to let you just look around and provide you with any information you need. Give it a try, you wont be let down.

Maria deserves SIX STARS but can only give her five. Just got off the phone with her for a warranty issue on a fridge purchased last year and she had our receipt in hand in a matter of seconds. I have now purchased a washing machine and a fridge from here. This is not a fancy showroom so dont expect a sales guy in a suit and tie. You can expect knowledgeable help, very good prices on scratch and dent appliances, and on time delivery. I dont care for the all trappings involved in shopping for appliances at a big box store and the experience here is exactly what I wanted. I will be back for at least two more purchases in the near future.

Needed a new dryer and was willing to do a scratch and dent to save a few bucks, they were very knowledgeable about their products in stock, explained what their warranty was. We happened to pick a product that also came with the 10 year manufacturer warranty. I will go there again if we need another applicance. Great customer service!!

When I walked in the store I was a bit iffyshopping at a warehouse for my oven and new dishwasher. But I must say I was pleasantly surprised with the merchandise and the quantity also the quality of their products. I can say I will recommend them to my friends and family. Shopping is convenient and staff is nice. Most places I shop at they make you not want to pay them because of their attitudes. But everyone is nice. Will be returning.

We were able to get a $930 MSRP fridge for $400 because of a few scratches on the front.I wasnt able to take it with me, so they held it for a few days until I could get a truck to move the fridge. When I got the truck, they even loaded and tied down the fridge for us.EXCELLENT SERVICE AND PRICES.

I bought the fridge from them and paid $85 for delivery and haul a old fridge away. They put my old fridge to where is a trash at. I call and talk with the guy who did that and he said that a haul away. I said no haul away that mean you take it to the junk place and he told me he always did that. I talk to the manager then he told me they will come to remove it but I have to paid $30 for service.This place is a trash. I wish I can give them zero start.The product they sale most of them is dents and old model and the price not cheap compare to home depot or lowes.AVOID THIS PLACE.

Me and my fiancé recently bought a house like a mile away from the Tomball location. Connor was very helpful and really professional and had answers to all the questions we had. BUYER BEWARE!!!I spoke with 5 different employees about an appliance they had in stock. They were rude, arrogant, and totally unhelpful so I decided not to buy from them. I ended up finding out from a friend who had bought a refrigerator here and only 2 weeks later the item stopped working completely. They contacted the store and they refused to stand behind the product.

Poor customer service. Dont bother calling to ask any questions, because they will treat you like your bothering them. Isnt that what their phone is for, so their customers can call? We would of been driving an hour to go there so I just wanted to know a few things about their selection before we made the drive. This isnt the only appliance store so I will take my business elsewhere.In response to the owners response : I contacted your business on 11/13/15 at 1:39pm, which by your response, is in regular business hours! Regardless, how would that be an excuse for the way I was treated? If your further research showed you when I called Im guessing my name and number also showed up, so why not reach out directly to apologize for the poor and unhelpful service I received, instead of responding with a lie? Loved the prices and selection of the place and the shop owner seems to be a great guy. I got a great price on a great 4 door fridge that Im very happy with...I hopeMy only gripe is the warranty. Being that it is scratched or dented items the manufactured warranty is void but SOLO offers there own warranty and let me tell you it is WEAK. Ive had my fridge for 14 days and its been making this loud pop sound at the end of its cooling cycle. I dont want to take any chances with having a lemon fridge so I called and asked someone to come out and take a look at it. He tells me that I only have 1 week to report a problem to avoid a $85 trip charge for his tech. Parts and Labor are under warranty for 1 year on the fridge but when you spend thousands at a business you would expect them not to nickel and Dime you with a trip charge after only 14 days of ownership and having something go wrong with their product.As of now I am going 3 star but if this fridge ends up having a huge issue with it I will go even less.
