My recent experience with the Bellaire location was OUTSTANDING! This is the second time I have brought one of our vehicles to Kevin and his crew. They did a FANTASTIC job each time. After someone clipped the drivers side wheel well of my car that isn’t even a year old - I knew I needed it fixed and knew I would take it to Kevin and his crew. Kevin is very professional and his quote was reasonably priced. I am thrilled with the results and will highly recommend anyone in need of service to this location! I admit preservice car condition vehicle paint was in very poor condition. Paid $2300. Left the vehicle for a week.. When I got the vehicle back, there were several spots needing attention. Paint had to dry for a month. I circled the spots in dry erase marker, brought it back, left another week at Maaco.No complaints. All the dents, scratches, chip marks are repaired satisfactory.Ready to take to detailer.

I left my car to get bumper painted and specifically asked for the reflectors to be painted. They did not do that and instead told me they were doing me a favor to begin with. They were very unprofessional about it. And did not apologize or try to fix it. On top of this. The paint job is not so good. Looks like it was done in a hurry. The clear coat is missing in places. If you want quality work, go elsewhere.

Loved isnt exactly the best adjective. the final, finished hood for my sons car looks spectacular! The process of getting there was a little lengthy in time. The general manager of the business is an extremely warm, outgoing and friendly guy. But I think he needs some more help, to run the front office. Because the checks and balances on the work, the quality and getting the finished product out the door was just a little slow. But overall I will do business with him again in the future

I took my car in for a paint job. The first time we came to pick up the car, the job was poorly done and we left the car there to be re-painted. When we picked it up the second time, the paint was fine but now the entire car reeks of paint remover/acetone and there’s some weird crust on the ridge of the back door, likely from the sealant of some sort.

I brought my car a couple of days ago and they gave me an estimate. Then I spoke with Kevin 2 times on phone. I was told to bring the car at 8AM and they would take care of it. I showed up so at 8 AM and he said he didnt mean any morning. I literally spoke with him yesterday!

Very poor quality work, this is the second time I got s paint job at Macco and the paint color does not match my vehicle. Save your money and go somewhere else. You honestly get what you pay for.

Good job! Car paint lookse like new

My truck has been back about 5 times to try and get the paint right. Every time I bring it in they fix one part and ruin others in the process. The last time I received the truck back it had overspray literally ALL over the vehicle. It only went on to get the bumper and side door repaired. Every panel has overspray or tape glue on it.From what I could tell it is not all the employees fault. Kevin the manager is patient and professional, and you can tell he is doing the best with what he has. The main issue is the lack of proper lighting to check their work it seems. Out of probably 15 double bulb ballasts they have in the main area, I would say about 10% or so work. you can’t even see.....we used our cell phone lights to find issues. No joke. The owner needs to do something about this asap. The guys can’t even see what they are doing!

One cannot say enough good things about this MAACO or Kevin and his team. Over the years, we have brought a Ford Bronco, Mercury Marauder, Iroc Camaro and now a Chevrolet Volt here, all for complete color changes. The quality of work, bodywork, paint, trim and detail are impeccable for the price. It is definitely worth upgrading to one of the premium paint packages. Thank you, Kevin and MAACO, for making a 9-year-old electric car like new again.

I’m a little late but Maaco did a wonderful job on my car!! I had a hit and run accident and I had to fix it myself!! The driver side door would not even gonna open so I could get out! They gave me the best price in town and they gave me a discount across the street at the enterprise rental. They have wonderful customer service and now I can’t even tell I was ever hit!! Just got my Dodge charger repainted black I was thinking about selling it but after seeing how it looked after it was done I definitely had to think twice once again great job guys! I notice that they put the wrong color on my car. The wrong color blue.. The area they painted was wrong color blue. They painted it a darker shade of blue.

I brought my 1999 Jeep Grand Cherokee To Maaco. Couldn’t bear to part with it after we got a new car this year. The paint was fading and peeling off. They recommended the basic paint job, didn’t try to upsell me. They knew this was my third vehicle, utility truck. I picked it up yesterday. My jeep looks brand new. Was ready when they promised and every person I interacted with was professional and extremely helpful. Highly recommend

I went to this shop to repaint some fenders that I personally repaired and when I went to pick it up there was sand marks on the door and paint on my headlight and and for some reason clear coat residue on my door handle inside.also there was sand paper in the engine bay which also made contact with my belts. the paint did match good enough but me and the manager had agreed upon doing some touch up work which he also failed in doing. Although he did offer to “buff” out the sand marks I will not be coming back to this shop.

This place is wonderful. The manager, Matthew, took the time to help me with a problem on my vehicle, as well as painting a small item for me. I am a loyal customer forever. No one shows that type of kindness anymore. Great, great guys in my opinion. Ive got a dinged bumper I am taking there soon. I highly recommend this Maaco.

These guys were fantastic. I dont write reviews ever, but these guys deserve it. I nicked my pinstripe on my truck and they 1. Saw me same day 2. Got me my car back within the hour. Also they were very fair with price. I dont plan on damaging my car anytime soon but if you do go see them and they will give you top notch service.

They did a great job.

We brought our 15 year old Ford escort station wagon in last March for a paint job. There were lots of bad spots on the top and hood of the car and general fading that you would expect on a car this age. We were not looking for perfection, but just a much improved overall appearance. Maaco did a really good job for a very reasonable price. I would go back to this Maaco location without hesitation.

High way robbery, and in the middle of a pandemic.

I came to the shop for an estimate and had no problem. The gentleman I worked with was polite and listened to what I wanted done on the vehicle. When I called back a few weeks later the same individual was very rude and short. He said I was not in the system even though I gave him the information off of the paper copy I was given at the visit. He told me I did not need an appointment to drop my car off for work even though he didnt know what kind of work I needed done. I tried to call back two days after that and got the voice mail twice and left a message with no return call that day or the day after. Needless to say they lost my service.

I backed my company lease car into a pole and didnt want to file a claim or tell the lease company. Maaco did the job fast and you cant tell where it was repaired now. I would recommend to anyone.

Cheap fast good

I took my daughters old 93 Jeep Grand Cherokee to this Maaco to get a paint job last week. The original paint on the hood and tailgate had peeled off in several places and it was obviously failing. The paint was 19 years old. The car is a 1993 so I did not want to go nuts with the paintjob but wanted it to look good. I got one level up form the basic paint job paying extra for UV blocker. Its a white car so not a real big concern about paint fading. There was a small extra charge for the extra work on the hood and tailgate. We went to pick up the car and it looked great except the tailgate had some issues where it looked like the underlying paint was peeling. They offered to redo it no problem and we came back on Monday and it was better but still had a few small issues. I spoke with the owner and he decided the best approach would be to sand it down and use an epoxy primer. This was because the first primer seemed to be reacting with the original paint and softening it and causing it to curl. The third time was the charm. You might wonder why I gave such a high rating on the review with having to have it redone several times. The reason is that they were so customer focused and handled the satisfaction issues in a fantastic manner. I am a very happy customer.

Although they were not able to help me fixing my vehicle. They helped me to find the place that could. They were very patient with me and okeadant attitude

Best Paint Shop In Houston!! The Quality Of Repair Is Unbeatable, Staff Makes the Difference At This Maaco!!

Im not sure Im all that satisfied with the overall repairwork itself. It could just be my imagination but repaired side of my bumper does not look like the undamaged side. Whats worse is that I selected Maaco to repair my car because they said that whether or not I decided to file an insurance claim to have my damage repaired, I would get a 20% discount off the body labor. I decided to file and insurance claim. Things went sideways from there. To make a long story short, when I came to pick up my car, Gadiel, the employee I had been working with, claimed that he had never said any such thing. I was upset to say the least. The only thing that salvaged the situation is that after leaving the body shop (without my car the first time), I called back and got Judy on the line, who was extremely helpful and understanding. She honored the 20% discount I was initially promised, and I had my boyfriend go pick the car up for me with no further incident. I was really surprised that Gadiel completely backpedaled on what he had said earlier, but I have my car back now and it seems okay, I suppose.

On 3/18/2017 at 10:31AM i called customer service and that guy placed me on hold for over 30 minutes. WHEN HE ANSWERED HE WAS EXTREMELY rude. very bad customer services.
