When it rains its bad....they charge 3 dollars to go in and now they want u to take a picture of the vehicle for their inventory.

They have changed to the worst.I work on vehicles professionally and get paid for it, time is money! scanning thru their inventory takes time to find a quality part. once you find it, it takes time to remove such part.once you get to the cashier, they NOW ask for the vehicle inventory number, that can be found on the rear quarter panel of the vehicle where you too the part off. should you for some reason not have it, they WILL NOT sell you that part you just spend time to find and pull.my time is valuable, specially on the only one day a week I am off. Do to the pricing and shenanigans this place has implemented, it is easier, quicker and by far more convenient and less expensive to shop full service yards or aftermarket parts elsewhere. unless you are looking for a engine/transmission.sadly I have to say, this used to be a great place to find a bargain but is no longer so.therefore, no longer an option for me

I cant even give a zero star thats what they deserve... I went today to remove a engine harness. Not only did they put a 98 civic in the late model section because it was premium lol... So I remove the harness and then the girl was like 82 dollars for when the website says 31. Then she justify by saying because its a new car section but the car is a 98. Scam dont shop here

They usually have almost any part you want but they have a habit of giving you the wrong price on the phone went yesterday for a brake caliper they told me $25 with my core when I got there it was $45 wasnt a problem still cheaper than anyone else

Every Sunday is discount day on parts and on tires. Great place to go find the parts you might need. You can look up the price and if they have the vehicle your part might be on and if this vehicle is in the yard from your cell via the internet.

The LKQ Northville location is decent at best. Although the inventory is usually pretty good, parts here move fast, particularly from the late model lot, which is where I have serious complaints. Be prepared for long wait times after youve picked your parts and are standing in line for check out at the late model lot. Check out service can be exceedingly slow and wildly inaccurate. Pay attention to whats going on ahead of you in line -- I and others are often over quoted and overcharged for parts. It seems normal here for items to manually written up on receipts and prices made up on the fly, which are often up to 50% higher than stated online. This is why wait times are so long. Expect for those in front of you to argue over prices and be prepared to do the same; I recommend to do your research on part prices posted online and to bring print outs of the prices with you -- if I absolutely have to shop here, then Ill be doing the same. After a few visits, these are my only gripes, but they really frustrate me. Ive gotten to the point where I feel like the price gouging is done purposefully. After waiting in line under the sun for 30 minutes at a time, you feel like your and everyone elses arms are being twisted into overpaying just to get the hell out of there. I hope you have better luck than me!

Cars are organized by make and model, may have a car steal here and there but overall I found what I needed and was in and out.They have WHEELBARROWS for you to use!If you dont find what you need at one, go to the counter and ask for a free pass to another. Dont have to pay to enter the next LKQ but expires at the end of the day.

Of the LKQs around Houston, this one is the pits. Id almost grown e ar to the generally poor customer service through these guys. But the rare occasions when I return to the Northville location(about annually after the burn wears off) I remember why I typically order a part new as opposed to getting it there quickly for a slightly lower price.Specifically-I walked for what seems like 15 minutes through 100° heat and a muddy yet still somehow dusty, poorly maintained driveway, Extracted my part in 15 minutes, then completed the 15 minute return trip. After standing in line for 20 minutes, the young lady working at the front asks me,What is the stock number of the vehicle that the part came from?Me: How would I know that?Her: Its on the VehicleMe: Do you have asign that says that?Her: No, but I cant seek you the part without the stock numberMe: Err, so youre asking me to walk all the way back over there to get there stock number?Her: Yeah- (Clearly enthused with poorly veiled hostility)Me: Yeah-Naw Buddy!

So now someone new owns LKQ. The cost of parts online is not the actual cost once you get there and pull the part. I pulled a side mirror that the website clearly says 21 bucks. When I went to check out the lady said its 42. They must think that OEM is the only way and they want 10 bucks for a warranty too? Clearly someone is off their rocker. You can buy replacements all day under 40. What a waste of time. They wouldnt even match the online price

Are these people crazy? I went there to buy a front grill for an old honda that costs $25 new online on amazon and ebay. I was expecting it to be maybe $10 at the most used. But they tried to charge me $75 plus 2 different taxes for the same part, all discolored, faded and beat up.... Wow... I even showed the cashier the part on ebay on my phone and she didnt know what to say, just stared at me with a blank face and empty eyes...Never go here if you know the actual cost of parts. It seems like they are cashing in on people not knowing what the parts are actually worth brand new.

Came here around nine check out around 9:40am I was buying a radiator nothing else and was told the price was 86.99 and told her that was wrong cause there price if you look it up on their website is 46.99. She then told me to keep scrolling and I will find it I didn’t even look till I got in my car and no where on the website it shows 86.99.

Me and my girlfriends uncle went there for a gas tank, which he was previously quoted a price on by a LKQ associate. We walked the whole yard and found it, removed it and lugged it all the way back to the front just to find out their policies had changed and they no longer sold them. The problem isnt the fact that they dont sell them, but the fact that they dont present their policies or what they sell or dont sell prominently enough. Had we know that we wouldnt have wasted 2 hours of our day on a fruitless mission.

Ive been coming here for awhile but they are not charging what their website says. I tried to get a dual radiator fan and they told me $70 but on line it says $35. That happened in the late model windows on 1/19/2030. With the girl on the window on the Right. The girl with the glasses always does it right.

Was changed 27.99 for each tail light. Can buy both new for 30 over priced. Charge you to enter the Primo Section also if you buy from the primo section the prices are higher. Place is a rip off. Go to u pull it by hobby airport half the price and only charge you to enter once. Prices are straight forward there. The only time to buy here is Black Friday after thanksgiving 40% off they are very Greedy. Won’t be coming back!!

I came to pick an easy part, after waiting 20 minutes in line, Im told cash only. When they could be telling people when they check their tool kits in line its cash only. I get to the front of the line and see this half taped sign that read such. In the time of Covid where card is king, it should be on their website that they dont take cards. Frustrating experience and staff wasnt that helpful, just offered shrugs.

Absolutely deplorable and extremely unprofessional customer service. I scheduled for last Sunday them to pick up my car to sell them at 1 pm. They called that day saying that their driver did not show up for work. So we rescheduled for Today (Tuesday) at 1:30 p.m., in which a day that I took off of work for.So today, Tuesday, they called me to reschedule again and they wanted to reschedule each time for 8:30 in the morning during the week day either Wednesday Thursday or Friday which is not an option for me to take off work again. The first two times they were able to schedule the pickups in the afternoon, but the lady that called me this morning told me that is not an option for my location and they can only pick up early in the morning.They are disorganized in their scheduling and clearly lack professionalism as a business. I will sell my car elsewhere, and based on all the other negative reviews I will never buy parts from them either. I am just so done with their deception.

Left keys on counter employee must have taken them. Had to call locksmith. Employee looked very shady and kept casing my vehicle while waiting for a locksmith. Stood watching as he kept waiting for me to walk away from my car. Watched another two people walking around the parking lot pulling door handles looking for unlocked cars.I used to visit this place all the time no issues. Will not go ever again, shady employees at the gate.

Elsa the manager clearly does not know what shes doing over charges/ does not know the difference between a bar and a sway bar... After telling her that. her attitude got really nasty (saying insults in spanish)and removed the item but kept the same price. Very unprofessional. Been here multiple times now and I can say with confidence do not go here. Ive had the same experience each time. They are rude, incompetent and they are way over priced, and service is extremely slow. Expect to wait in line for over 20 minutes with only a few people in line, the cashiers as slow and incompetent women, who always appear to be trainees. They dont know the parts names either. The worst part is they are selling old used worn and beat up parts for the same price or higher for the price of brand new parts online. Its a huge waste of time, they charge you tax 3 times as well, core tax, state tax, and environment tax. Check your receipts. Last time I was there the guy in front of me got charged $90 for a used beat up spare wheel and tire, he walked away with no purchase. The guy in front of him got charged $350 for used rotors and brake calipers. Walked away with no purchase.They charged me $50 plus the 3 taxes for a used beat up mirror, it was $35 brand new online. I walked away with no purchase. Some guys know actual what parts go for new and will not pay outrageous prices for used worn parts. Dont shop here.

Its usually always got whatever I need and the price is cheap. Its so big that it takes a while to find what ur looking for sometimes. So I look online b4 I go and it tells me exactly where to go find the vehicle I need. Parking lot is a little sketchy Ive seen cars with windows busted out, not sure why or what happened one can only assume. Though Ive never had any issue but Im also never in there for long either.

I was very upset had to pay three dollars to get in than two more to get in the place I needed to check for the part . Just to find out they did not have the part I needed. Spent 10 dollars altogether had my wife with me. To make it wost I called the 800 number first to see if this would happen was told no 3 dollars only. RIP off at this location.

Really not worth spending half your day for old wore out parts. They also charge you for the nuts and bolts that hold the parts on. And a core charge on a plastic bumper cover? Honestly they just charge the core charge because they know most people will not spend the time and effort to get their 3 bucks back.

Needed to take a transmission down so I needed a floor jack and was told I couldnt. I tried to explain to them that I needed the jack to lower down the transmission and the expert lady at the front told me to use the engine hoist which dont even work good to get an engine out. Why do they say bring your own tools and then dont let you use your own jack.

I would actually give you guys a zero if I could. But I got a 1 to worn other customers. They lie so bad. Terrible customer service. They dont know were there tow truck worker are. Tried to turn in my car and the tow truck driver was 2-3 hours late. My husband called and told them the minor issues with my car she told him $165.00. The tow truck driver gets here and calls her and tells her all the issues that my husband already addressed and he told me $85.00. I told him with the quickness no. Yall have bad communication and also I dont like how he was talking to her over the phone without addressing me. Just because Im a women do not mean that you dont adress .me to. Yall need a new staff they are terrible.So this is a warning dont use them take time and look for something else.

Had been going there for years and then all of a sudden it got expensive real fast. Maybe they are not making as much money since car manufacturers keep putting plastic in cars these days. Unfortunately the cost is being transferred to you. Check online before you buy anything. You’ll find new is around the same price. And you don’t have to roll around in the dirt to get it. I don’t even think I’d go back if it were a holiday. (Half price). It would still be over priced . It’s a junkyard ffs. We’re basically pulling from other people’s trash!!

Pretty clean and organized for a junkyard. They have a pretty decent selection cars and trucks, most of the rows are marked with letters, and I was able to find the vehicles I was looking for. The part I was looking for was already gone, however I could have gotten many more parts at reasonable prices if I needed them. You will have to do some walking and if youre willing to get dirty and sweaty, you can save yourself a few bucks over the full-service salvage yards by picking your own part. Wheelbarrows are provided for heavier parts. Definitely recommended for inexpensive OEM parts.

Customer service is pretty awfulBrand new rebuilt engine leaking oil on the first try. It took almost 3 weeks to get a replacement. They have the highest prices in town. I would not recommend it

You pull the parts yourself. Muddy when it rains: wear boots. American cars almost to the back, American trucks all the way to the back.

Its better to buy most parts online. Just compare LKQ prices with most online retailers. Youll find most parts are not only much cheaper, but are under warranty with no environmental fees or entry fees and in most instances no sales tax. And you dont have to pull it yourself or hope no one has beaten you to the part . . . because theres no refund of the entry fee even if you cant find the part.

This is a well run and organized yard. Cars are mostly well marked and organized, and are elevated and well supported for getting suspension parts or other lower bits. Big place and it gets pretty hot; bring water.

Pull your own parts. A lot of late 90s to 2010ish models. Fair prices. Most of the vehicles are just worn out, not a lot of wrecked ones. Check their website for inventory before going. Good for body parts and misc items, not so great for interior stuff. No mileages given so running gear is just by luck, but they do offer warranty.

You should bring tools and pay 3$ for entrance. If you are fortunate you find the part. I dont know how to use the mechanic tools. For ladys can be difficult. I think is a good option but you should bring a friend that know about cars.

Its a good place and prices are very good but they close the register way before the front gates are closed customs are still inside trying to pay for there party when they been there for hours and cant get them because the cashiers have already closed an hour before closing so parts have to be left behind . all that work for nothing . After all them hours of walking around searching for part taken apart off and then when they found the one you grabbing things to walk out only to realize that the cash registers have already closed and they left so you have to leave your parts there for another to get the next day or so on the way thats the only bad part . That is the only bad part I see the rest seems to be pretty good

Huge selection, great prices. For anything bulky or heavy, you should bring a hand truck or you can rent one there...can even rent an engine hoist/crane on wheels. The counter ladies are quick and friendly. If you dont mind a little extra grease and dirt, go here to save a lot.

It wasnt organized. Got charged normally the 3 dollars for entry fee, but to go to a different part of the yard was charged an additional 2.00. It didnt really make sense.
