They had 50% off this past Sunday and seeing the line it shows it payed off for them. I was able to get this transmission with seven month warranty for $83. Normally the transmission goes for $100 by itself.

Employees are friendly and helpful. But, you should plan before you go. Go onto their website and look for the cars you need parts from. They have a map and the cats are marked and ordered and you can that placement of the car you are looking for on their website. Also, dress appropriately, I prefer not to go when it has recently rained to avoid puddles and mud. On sunny days make sure to at the very least wear a hat and if you can bring a bottle or two of water to help fight the heat and dehydration.

Cant give 0 stars because I cant. I called the place to verify that a vehicle was in the yard and they said if its listed, its there. I asked them to please check, because I was doing a 3.5hr trip and didnt want to waste my time. They said they couldnt check because they trust their database. I take the trip and boom, just like that the car was not in the lot and had been crushed already. Place is a joke, dont waste your time in this place and go elsewhere.

Found the part indeed right away...first time to visit and I was impressed.

First time at this place. It is well managed from entry to check-out. They also loan out wheel barrows or carts; very useful. There is an excellent selection of imports and domestics which are well organized in the yard. Searching the inventory is very helpful and makes it a breeze to find the vehicle in the yard. Found myself a Driver seat, arm console, and air intake housing for my 2000 Maxima; all for only $50. With these parts, my car will be like new again. Loved coming here and hunting for parts, like searching for treasure. Will definitely come back again with a friend and better tools.

Their prices, facility and customer service absolutely demolished what you have to deal with at LKQ. I will never go back to LKQ unless I have the misfortune to see they have particular car I need parts from. This place is THAT good I promise you.

Clean for a used auto parts you pull it place. Folks are friendly. Vehicle inventory online so you know what they have how long its been there and a very good idea generally where the vehicles are.

In my area, by far the best salvage yard. Have been to most in southeast Houston area but this one is my go to salvage yard. Prices are reasonable too.

Had a great selection and parts you would normally find busted actually working and in great condition.....prices are better then 20 other places I have tried why go to these other junk yards charging what the part would cost new when you can go here ...

The yard is always dirty with parts laying everywhere, its hard to push a cart thru any row. Prices are good thats about it.

Ever since this place opened I stopped going to lkq for many reasons including better prices. This lot is always clean and it has almost like a cement ground so youll hardly ever get all muddy. You can also go online and check if they have the vehicle youre looking for and when you get there they have a little desk where you can print out the location of the vehicle for no extra charge plus entry fee is only $2 for the whole lot, unlike other places that charge extra as if they had a VIP section. Another good thing about this place is that you can sign up and get alerts so you dont show up days after they get the car youre looking for, so sign up and dont miss out on the parts you need.Now, Ive seen a lot of comments about employees but Ive never had any issues with any of them so think it all comes down to the kind of day people are having.And last thing is... well the only bad thing about this place is that they havent updated the time they open. They open at 9am not 8:30am.

I always find good parts here, and I relax when I come here...the only thing I do not like is when the Hispanic Guy from El Salvador is checking at the checking desk, he is so arrogant! And his behavior against other Hispanic is horrible,Honestly when I see he is at front desk ..I turn back to my car and better go to another junk parts location. We as customers deserve more respect.

Aside from the $2 entry fee...this is a great salvage yard. They have a large selection of most anything you want from the 1990s thru 2020. The staff was very professional, and I was surprised that all the small parts I got only cost $10. Im sure Ill be back.

First time ever going to a junkyard and I’m glad I found this place. The lot is very neatly organized with space to walk in and around the vehicles. Huge selection and a cheap price to get in. This is like a candy store for a car guy. I will be definitely going back and back again.

Its a great place to look for all the vehicles parts that you need they always get new vehicles inside the lot almost every day and they have the great prices that you are looking for.

I drove over an hour to get to this junkyard to buy a wheel and when I got up front they told me the person to take the tires off leaves at 4pm. Avoid this junkyard if you value your time.

Great place for parts and prices, but the employees arent so great. Hours should be updated online. They dont close at 6pm, its actually 5:30, after getting my parts and making it to the door at 5:40 the lady at the front desk was very rude and didnt let me purchase my parts that I spent an hour removing. Not a great way to do business

If ya know how to work on your own vehicle and other vehicles and you want to save money on car parts, this place or similar places are the best to look for. You can usually get parts for a reasonable price compared to buying parts at a normal auto store or online.

I’m currently working on restoring an “old school” ride. Since the car is over 20 years old, OEM parts are hard to come by due to being discontinued. Luckily, I stumbled upon U Pull & Pay Houston. This salvage yard is, by far, one of the best organized and cleanest that I’ve ever visited. I like that its online car inventory tells how many days cars have been on the yard. It also shows a picture of the car, as well as, its location (row number). I have been able to find multiple parts, switches, and glassware, thanks to U Pull & Pay Houston. With a $2 entrance fee and cheap parts, you cannot go wrong. This method is saving me hundreds, even over purchasing from EBay. Most sellers on EBay are selling parts they’ve pulled from scrap yards for a much higher fee anyway. If you’re a novice with tools, as I am, YouTube how to remove your specified part(s), and you’re good to go.

Great staff, great selection of cars to pull parts from. I’ve pulled parts for 5-6 different cars for myself and family, inventory and price search on their website is super helpful! Setting up alerts on their website is super helpful. Set up vehicle models/years and you’ll get an email when a fresh car is put on the lot. I’ve been to many other pull-a-parts in Houston and this upullupay is my favorite.

Decent salvage yard. They have a massive selection, state-of-the-art inventory system, and I love the carts big enough to work as a mobile workbench.Two suggestions:First, customer service is a bit lacking. The associates need to be focused on getting customers in and out of the yard. Every time I have been there, there would be one or two people checking in customers and two other people standing around behind the counter while customers stood in line waiting to pay for parts.Second, sometime needs to sweep the lot AT LEAST twice per day. I picked up four screws that were behind my parking spot that I didnt see when I drove up. Customers coming here likely already have something theyre trying to fix in their vehicle. They dont need to add flat tire to the list.

Organized and well set up.

Definitely love this place. People are chilled and make sure you bring lots of sunscreen/tanning lotion with hydration sources. If you wear dark colors... Dont wear dark colors. Go to a thrift store and get some light colored clothes, gloves since tools and car parts can get hot and have fun. (If the company comments this last part a no, Ill delete this part of its not possible)--> If you want to teach your kid or someone you know how to work on cars, bringing them would be a great learning chance.

Good prices in parts, staff was friendly. Organization could have been a little better -- many of the cars I had looked for were not located on the rows stated on the website. Interior parts are hard to find as well as wheel covers. Be sure to bring your tools. Jacks are not allowed but you shouldnt need one as most cases are on blocks.

AFTER PRESSING#2 TO SPEAK TO A CLERK.. THEY PUCK UP AND HANG UP WITHOUT SAYING ANYTHING!!!! HAPPENED 2x IN A ROW, LAST TIME I VISITED THIS BUSINESS THERE WAS EMPLOYEE STANDING AROUND THE LOBBY FLIRTING WITH THE OTHER EMPLOYEES WHILE TRYING TO DO THERE JOBS.

Definitely has a large variety of vehicles to get the parts you need. No need buying new ALL the time. Sometimes, the part you need comes from a used vehicle that has nothing wrong with that part.

If you want to save money on auto parts this place is a great to visit, the yard is in order, not like LKQ where you cant even walk between the vehicles without tripping over something. In my soundest opinions LKQ has become a regular part store, with two entrance fees. U pull & Pay only has one fee and they dont ask you what vehicle you got the parts off.

Its a good place to get used auto parts.
