Pre Purchase InspectionThis was the first time to use this establishment. The front office attendant took the time to listen to my vehicle concerns. The shuttle to and from work was extremely helpful and I believe there was a thorough inspection of the full condition of my car. Overall, I believe this is establishment is honest, fair priced and mindful of your time.
This was my first time using Christian Brothers. I found the employees to be very pleasant and professional. I did have an appointment and they were prompt and competed the job in a timely manner. I loved how clean and welcoming their lobby was. Would definitely recommend.
Went in for an oil change and tire rotation today. Very polite and friendly service, started at my scheduled appointment time and waited in their clean waiting area a reasonable amount of time for them to finish (+/- 45 min). Service reps text me with a multi-point inspection report with pictures and frequent updates while I waited. This will be my go-to auto service place from now on.
Will not ever go back to them again. I have used them before to have work done on my 2008 Corvette and I have been satisfied even though they are expensive. This time though was a different story. They actively tried to charge me for items and services that my car did not need.I took the Corvette to them with a known leaking radiator and an unknown leak of what I thought was power steering fluid. My drive way had several spots on it over a two day time period and when I let the car idle in the drive way for 15 minutes to see what was leaking it make a puddle 8 inches in diameter under the engine and a river of coolant came out under the radiator. I shut the car off with lots of radiator fluid and the 8 in puddle under the car and opened up the hood to see what fluid other than coolant was low. The power steering pump reservoir was empty. I went to the store and purchased coolant and power steering fluid. Filled both up and took the Corvette to them the following day in the evening, Thursday. They were not busy and said that they would be able to work on it Friday to my surprise. Friday morning I got a text with a link to an electronic diagnostic of what was wrong with my Corvette. To my surprise the electronic diagnostic listed 10 red, critical, things that needed to be addressed on my Corvette.1. In cabin air filter2. Engine air filter3. 8 spark plugs4. 8 plug wires5. 8 coils6. Serpentine belt7. Belt tensioner8. Brake rotors (worn no explanation why)9. Brake fluid need replaced10. Power steering fluid need replaced.At this point I quit reading and just called the service adviser to ask him what was wrong with my car. He told me the radiator was leaking and the engine oil pan was leaking. I ask him If they had found a power steering leak, his answer was that the power steering was not leaking. it was engine oil coming from the oil pan on the bottom of the car. I said ok, but where did all the power steering fluid go that I have to fill back up. His response was the power steering was not leaking. I asked how much to fix the radiator and oil pan gasket. He called back a few minutes later and told me about $1000 parts and labor for the radiator and $1200 for the oil pan gasket. I was shocked that a gasket would cost $1200 to fix but it is $1000 labor as the entire bottom of the car is taken off to replace $200 of gaskets. I was simply in shock. I told him I would call him back. I called him back about 30 minutes later an told him that I felt like he was trying to cheat me out of money. He was offended. I asked him about the 10 critical red items listed and quoted in the repair, more specifically items 1-5 if they had inspected them and deemed them as bad and needing repair. The quoted price was in excess of $500 for those items. His answer was no, that the car had 103,000 miles on it and they needed changed at 100,000 miles. I told him that all of those items had been replaced at the Chevrolet dealer at 99,000 miles and again asked him why they were on my quote. He instantly took them off. I then asked him why he thought the power steering fluid need replaced, it was one day old. Again took it off. I asked him if the rotors were worn out, he did not know, took them off the quote. At this point I was just mad and felt like they were cheating me. Told him to fix only the radiator. I picked it up and took it home it has been about two week since and I am not leaking like I was when the car was taken in. I can only assume that when they replace the water pump 2 month earlier that they removed the power steering pump to gain access and did not get a power steering pump line tight and the fluid leaked out. The mechanic tightened the line and they wanted to a $1200 oil pan repair. On top of the $1200 there was nearly another $1000 in bogus charges that I had taken off before agreeing to have any work done.In conclusionNumerous items quoted that were critical that need fixed that were replaced 4000 miles earlier and an oil pan gasket that was not needed.Never going backWilliam

Annual inspection.Would much prefer if they still wore masks, but understand that it is not a requirement at this time. Its easy enough to wait outside, no problem.

I have used Christian Bros. on a few occasions I the past as well as this most recent oil change and cabin filter change. They are always prompt and professional. I have never been to mechanic with this level of professionalism. From my initial phone conversation to driving off with my vehicle. I usually have trouble getting my vehicle to the shop because of my busy schedule. Their courtesy shuttle was awesome. Will definitely use them again.

Ross at Christrian Bros, Space Center was helpful, attentive on the phone, called me back of his own initiative to offer further information and (free) service, and brought the shuttle service to my attention. My service was prompt and exact, affordable, and got us out of an extremely tight spot on the day our kids went back to school. Angela with the shuttle service showed up minutes after we called the next day and got my wife and son to the shop. My wife texted me to comment on how nice and clean and friendly the ride was. Turned a nightmare into a bright spot in the week. 11/10, would definitely recommend.
I really, honestly wanted to love our experience here, and finally to have found “our auto shop” after moving to the area. Unfortunately, after taking our vehicle in for only one known issue, they managed to come up with $8,000 worth of work to be done on the car. Fortunately, we were able to consult with my Brother-in-law, who owns an auto shop out of state, and he said that only a portion of the work really needed to be done. The known problem were AC actuators that were making a loud clicking sound, and causing hot air to blow through the vents. So, we did pay to have that problem fixed. After picking up the car, we were surprised to hear the clicking noises still. I took the car back to the shop, and was told that it was a different actuator this time, and we would have to pay to have it repaired. What! We just paid (over $600) to have this problem solved.Also, Be forewarned their prices are extremely high!!
After the dealership said my 2003 chevy silverado was too old to work on, they recommended Christian brothers. (Too old?? Too old?? What year is this 2021? Damn my truck is old... oh well) I was extremely impressed by their communication, professionalism, and all around great customer service. As someone who does the majority of their own truck repair, (now we know why the truck is broken) I dont like to spend money on service centers. (Maybe if I did I would not be afraid to take my truck past 5 miles from home) But some computer issues are beyond me. Christian brothers listened to my long story of truck repair and did exactly what I asked. Plus they did routine checks and made recommendations. But no pressure, no bull, just here is what we found and here is what it would cost. Pick and chose as you wish. If anyone needed honest help I would recommend. Slightly spendy but I didnt go there because it was easy.

I took my 1992 Jeep Wrangler into Christian Brothers automotive on space center they were able to diagnose brake problems that I was having they completed all of the service work and repair the discs drums and brake pads and even came and picked me up at the house and brought me back to their shop I was so impressed with the professionalism of the driver and staff at Christian Brothers I will continue to use them in the future
I called in and received a fast quote on the work that needed to be done. I received an appointment the next day. I went and dropped off my vehicle and was offered a ride home, which was totally unexpected. A few hours later I received a phone call, my vehicle was ready to be picked up. I was even offered a ride back to the shop. A driver was sent out immediately and it did not take my whole day, in by 8:00 out by noon. The price was way lower than the dealership had quoted and you cant beat the Christian atmosphere when you walk into the office. I will definitely continue to use this company for all my other vehicles.

Pros:Communication was great between me and the company. I like the text message I received with the link that shows you the inspection report and recommended services, with the cost. The link allows you to approve what services you want and bills with ease, which was nice.Has a shuttle serviceCons:Little more expensive then other mechanic shops but not by much. Get what you pay for.Took 3 days to get my vehicle back from the time I dropped it off because they were so backed up. This was a big inconvenience for me, which they tried to make it up some with $50 off the original cost.Overall satisfied and I would recommend this shop to others. I had only ever taken my car to have work done at the dealership. After not being able to easily schedule appointments there, as well as price shopping and seeing that they were way overpriced, I decided to take my car to Christian Brothers. Not only were they able to get to my car right away, they gave me a courtesy ride home. I was happy with what I ended up paying, and they were able to fix my lift gate quickly with no fuss. I will be going back!

From the moment I scheduled my appointment until the moment they finished the work, I felt the care and expertise the entire team at this location brought. Not only were they incredibly professional, but quick and courteous to boot. They did an inspection first, and I requested a quick overview to see if my truck needed anything done. They did the overview for free! They found my engine air filter needed to be replaced, and the estimate for cost was higher than the final price. Cant ask for more! Will definitely bring my truck back for its next service!
This past week, I had some mechanical issues with my vehicle. Christian Brothers on SCB offered an affordable tow from my residence to their workplace. From there, they were very thorough in their inspection, while taking into account the problems I explained to them.I was kept informed via text message. After the initial inspection, I was sent a list of issues with my vehicle and several pictures of each as evidence, which gave some comfort. Next, I was contacted by Chris, and he explained the best route to take in terms of repairs.At this time Im in the process of purchasing a new home and they took that into account and were cost effective in terms of explaining the repairs/route that should be taken. I appreciated this. They also tried their best to help me in terms of discounts. The shop was clean and when I spoke to Chris he was extremely professional.Id take my vehicle there again for repairs and Id recommend them to any of my friends/associates.
I’m very happy with the professional service. I needed an alignment, and CB was recommended by my favorite tire installer. The first alignment wasn’t quite right but they willingly fixed it without a hassle. The point: everybody knows that sometimes things don’t go perfect, but how a company responds to fix it is what counts. This is why Christian Brothers deserves 5 stars.

We took our 1995 Ford Mustang here to have an oil leak repaired and to have some routine maintenance done. We asked specifically if they were equipped to work on a 25 year old vehicle and were assured they do it all of the time and would take really good car of it. We took our car there on December 28th and picked it up for the final time on February 26th. When we picked up the car the first time it was running really rough, had never done that before. Took it back, we were told it needed some other things done to fix it. Did that, got it back the second time, still running rough and the air conditioner did not work. Took it back, they assured us they never touched the air conditioner. Come to find out they had unplugged it/ loose wire to do another repair, but yet said they never touched it.Got the car back for the third and final time, car now has an exhaust leak at the manifold that it never had before, went to fill the car with gas and it starts pouring out of the tank. We could see where they had dropped the tank to do a repair elsewhere and did not put all of the screws back in it and a grommet was broken near the neck of the fuel tank. Went back to confront them about it and was first told they did not touch the gas tank, then two minutes later they said yes they did drop the gas tank.We spent $3400.00 here, and we asked for our money back for the labor costs, because we feel like the labor was not done properly. We were even told after our second time of taking the car back that they fired the mechanic that was working on it. They said they could not refund our money, but they wanted to look at the issues. We refuse to let them touch the car anymore, because for every one thing that gets fixed, two more things are broke. We asked who the owner was, and the guy told us he was not there, again we asked who the owner was and they told us Andy.No last name just Andy. He said he would give him the message. I would have thought he would have reached out to us right away, but have not heard from him. Worst experience ever!!! Now we are having to take the car somewhere else to have it fixed the right way.UPDATE: We were told on Monday that we should hear from the owner by Wednesday. We never heard from him. If you worked on our car for two months and charged me $3400 you would think that we at least deserve a quick response. This just tells us that the owner is not too concerned for his businesses reputation.UPDATE: The owner did reach out to us after we disputed one of our payments to Christian Brothers. He asked us to bring the car back in and let them fix the issues. He said they had some mechanic (employee) issues and felt certain they could resolve all of the problems. We agreed to bring the car back. We got the car back about two weeks later, and all of the issues had been resolved. We agreed to release the dispute we filed for one of our payments.
These guys really make you confident about their level of professionalism concerning the job being done properly. Its a relief to interact with such a high degree of integrity when dealing with automotive maintenance and repair. Thanks guys!

Took a very large flat bed truck to get an inspection. It is not a DOT truck so they were able to do it. They worked with me through one issue on the truck and were very helpful. Do recommend.

This was one of the worst experiences of my life. If I could give it negative stars I would. I took my vehicle in because it had a problem starting after I drove it. 1st they said it was a battery. $650. I pick the car up. 2 days later, my car does the same thing. Took the car back in and then they say bad alternator. $800. As Im picking up the car and they bring my car around..(turns it off) The car doesnt start. I told the gentleman Ken and he says just jiggle the key..it must be a bad ignition swith...hmm. why didnt you figure that out in the 1st place. At this point Im leary to let them have my car a 3rd time..because Ive just spent $1400 and my car still had the initial problem. I drive the car home to think about it. A few days later my car starts to make a loud clanging noise while at a light...I barely make it home. I drive it to the shop the next day...where he tells me again...well I told you your car was old and that you would need a new engine. Mind you if I needed an engine there was no smoke coming from my car. Just the loud clanking noise. After about 20 minutes of trying to explain to Ken that I still had the initial problem on top of this and that I had no other problems with my vehicle before hand. I leave defeated and angry he stops me and says that it sounds like.my water heater (another problem I didnt have before this shop). I BARELY make it home and all.kinds of lights come on in my car. Well, well the belt to the alternator is off 😳 amongst a slew of other issues that stem from what they have done. And Im out of a vehicle or money to fix it. Beware fellow consumers

This place is a joke taking covers off of items to inspect filters to try and get you to spend more money and then not even putting your car back together correctly when trying to get a simple oil change that took over an hour

I recently took my car in for service the day after Christmas. I was expecting a delay in getting my car fixed since it was during the holiday break. I was pleasantly surprised that my car was fixed in record time. I very much appreciated the drop off and pickup service of taking me home when I left my car for service and picking me up when my car was ready. I also liked the excellent text message communication regarding the progress of my car service. All the staff is courteous and helpful. I highly recommend the Space Center Christian Brothers shop.

My car ended up needing far more work than I had anticipated when dropping it off, but Christian Brothers never missed a beat. Ken was very informative with all the information on my car. He explained things well to where I would understand what was needed to be done. As a woman not knowing much about cars when taking it in there is sometimes a fear of being taken advantage of or being told of unnecessary things that need to be done. I NEVER once had that fear with Christian Brothers. Having peace of mind was everything! This could have been a very stressful situation and it wasn’t. I will forever use Christian Brothers for my auto repairs!
