STAY AWAY FROM THE REPAIR SERVICE DEPARTMENT for the following reasons:1 - left oil marks all over my front interior (chair, mirror, window/roof). SEE ATTACHED PICTURES.2 - left scratches on my driver door handle and sliding door. SEE ATTACHED PICTURES.3 - service manager never picked up phone or called back or replied through email or text.4 - repair took over a month. Didn’t do anything for the first 3 days. Took a were for diagnostic. Way too long.5 - loaner car or rental not available. Such a hassle when they took their sweet time for over a month to replace an electric module. Such a hassle.YOU’VE BEEN WARNED!

So anybody buying a truck or car from this dealership should be extremely aware of several things. First be aware that these unscrupulous sales people will bully you into excepting their deal, telling you anything they need to in order to get the deal, and then once you make arrangements for the deal they pull out and re define the terms of the deal. The dealership was extremely rude in all three tiers of management, and the overall demeanor and atmosphere is incredibly abrasive, unwelcoming, and not conducive to buying a $90,000 truck. They know that they have the upper hand and they will do whatever they can to get themselves the best deal with no regard for you or their duty to treat their customers with dignity and respect. ~Caveat Emptor~

My wife and I went to Gillman at the W Sam Houston Pkwy S location right after coming from another dealership. Sales guy we met was Carlos R. He helped me out greatly. Tony was amazing he was the first one out the door and greeted me and my wife before we even entered the building. He made us feel wanted and not like another customer. I got 2021 Jeep Cherokee Latitude and I love it!!! My sales consultant, Miguel El Poblano Mendez, saw me in service and asked if he could have my vehicle appraised at no cost to me. He mentioned that I was close to 100K miles and asked if I considered trading it in. He gave me his number with the appraisal upon leaving service and told me to call him if I was interested. I called and he helped me get around my schedule conflict so I could come into the dealership. I presented my information and was able to leave the same day with my new Jeep. I went from a 2015 Jeep Cherokee to a 2021 Cherokee without any real effort and Miguel made it happen for me. Thanks a billion times Miguel.

When I purchased my 2021 Jeep Compass it had an orange light on but I was told to drive it and it will go away. Once I picked up my plates my salesperson stated that he recently found out the light means an issue with the extra battery and the start/stop function. I get that in and worked on and now 4 months later my A/C is blowing hot. Dropped it off at the new Jeep building on Monday morning and after that now its fridary and it has been a fight to even get someone to answer the phone nevertheless even talk to my service advisor. NOTHING! After my husband called and called he got a hold of him and the issue was that the compressor locked up and metal shavings got into the hoses and valves and everything needs to be replaced. Car would probably be done on Friday. Friday being today, they are once again dodging the calls. Saw another bad review and the number to supposedly contact the general manager but that did not get us an answer as someone picked up and just forwarded the call one time and then now they dont even answer. Will be trying to get out of this vehicle as soon as possible. Worst service.

Experience was awesome when purchasing the vehicle, the sales person promised fixing some details in the vehicle and left the dealership happy. As soon as I left the dealership, I reached out to them to have that fixed and did not get a response back at all. I had to get in touch with the pre-owned manager and got told that the sales person lied to me. At the end they were going to go ahead and have it fixed. Couple days later I had to go back to do a warranty claim, the manager supposedly set up an appointment to have that checked out and handled with a rental car and turned out he did not do anything. They had me going to different service departments till the lady told me there was nothing to do only thing I can do is leave the vehicle there and Lyft home cause they had nothing for me.As soon as that is settled, I am never going back to this dealership, worst experience I have ever had.

First rate experience!Id done quite a bit of research, this was the first time buying a vehicle completely on my own...Id decided the Chevy Traverse was going to best fit my needs, & I set about finding one in my price range... I found one online, there were no photos, but the description sounded like it would suit my needs, & bonus, it was red, my husbands favorite color (I didnt want black, white or gray, & that was pretty much what I was finding in my price range)...on Sept 17, I called Gillman to see if I could see some pictures, find out if I could take a test drive... the car wasnt on the lot at the time...that afternoon I first spoke with Carlos Pintos... he explained that the car was out as a loaner, but the car should be back Monday...it ended up that the car that was being repaired ended up needing more work than expected...i felt good that they were making good on another sale, replacing the engine so the customer had a good, long running car... Carlos kept in touch with me, updating me on the status... he promised me I would be the first person called when the car made it back to the lot, & even though Id test driven other cars at other dealers, I wanted the Traverse, & I trusted Carlos, so I decided to wait... on Sept 28, true to his word, Carlos called to let me know the car was there... i tried getting to the dealership that evening, but didnt make it... I let Carlos know that id be in the next morning... unfortunately, morning turned into late afternoon, but knowing I was coming, Carlos didnt show the vehicle to anyone else... he made sure the car was detailed, & when I arrived there was my beautiful red Traverse...one short test drive later & i was ready to buy... that night, i drove off the lot, happy owner of a 2014, low mileage Traverse... Carlos made the purchase painless...once I got home, the next day, i realized that the a/c wasnt blowing cold... i gave Carlos a call, & let him know it probably just needed freon, & he said that if I brought it in, hed make sure it got done... i wasnt in a real hurry, but a couple nights later, I went out & the car wouldnt start... the battery was dead... afraid Id left a light on, I bought jumpers, got the car started, & drove it a bit to charge the battery up some....I didnt need the car until the next evening, but the battery was again dead... my son hooked it up to his battery charger, the battery was completely dead...id had the car 1 day short of a week at this time... i messaged Carlos, letting him know I had a bad battery, & asked what could be done... i purchased the car with no warranty, but I hadnt even driven it 100 miles... he was off that day, but he did answer me, promising hed talk to his manager in the morning... the next morning, after letting the battery charge for about 25 minutes, i was able to start the car & Carlos sent me a message saying if I could bring it in theyd take a look... i brought it in & right away they took the car in... they replaced the battery & recharged the freon... Ive had no more issues with the car starting, no more issues with the car at all & the a/c blows so cold that I cant turn it on fully...Im more than satisfied with Carlos & with Gillman Chrysler Jeep Dodge... I would recommend them to anyone as I can attest that they stand by the cars they sell...

On may 8th, 2021 I bought a Jeep Cherokee at Gilman, we all have some type of horror story when it comes to buying a car. This one was rather different, the culture in the automotive sales industry has been among the slowest ones to catch up to newer trends which embrace true customer service. While working with Alex Rezai I quickly noticed that Gilmans company culture was different. Alex focused his entire time in looking to meet my needs and being objective on the outlook of what I excepted to pay. I was not forced fed the wrong vehicle and was not pushed into a loan that would strain my budget. I spent no more than 2 hours there and did not drive off feeling I had been ripped off, in short I felt Alex was amazing and thorough. Moreover he went over my trade and found my sunglasses, pulled my toll tag and emergency cash I kept in the glove box. I would give zero stars if I could. We had an appointment this morning for 8:00, and we were checked in by 8:02 am. Josh was supposed to be the tech for our appointment, but was out trying to make a sale. There were four other people just sitting around and could not be bothered to help. We waited for over 15 minutes with zero help or interaction. I took the time off work because we had a scheduled appointment, and since no one could be bothered to help, we had to leave. We will be taking our business elsewhere.

I had to work all day Monday, Miguel picked me up in my new car, we went back to the dealership and signed the papers! Such a smooth process. When we walked in we talked to the salesman, we told them our situation and what we could afford. He kept telling us he can get the deal we can afford but another salesman got involved and he started telling us different numbers. They dont communicate at this dealership and some salesman don’t know how to do their job. Got told that our expectations are unrealistic while we got even a way better deal for a younger truck with less miles at another dealership. Just don’t waste your time here, go somewhere else!

Ive had my Subaru at this dealership for work a couple of times now & they are great! The service guys have all been super helpful & all together great! They stay in touch during the repairs constantly with the warranty info & repair costs & anything they need you to know! And they respond back promptly too!

To say that Patrick Wilson did a fantastic job with our Jeep Wrangler purchase would be an epic understatement. His level of professionalism through our entire process was top notch and above board and his efforts in meeting our needs far surpassed our expectations. Our car representative, Daniel Rosales, was terrific! He was very patientexplaining all the features of the cars we looked at. We took numerous rides in different models and there was no pressure of any kind. He has a greatsense of humor and always answered my many questions with great detail and knowledge.

Honestly, some days they are ON in their service department and some days they are OFF. Theres a lot of advisor turnover which seems to be some of the issue. The last year or so, I seem to have more problems with them forgetting to follow up with me on issues and not really seeming to care one way or another about resolving things. This bodes poorly when its time for me to trade in, but Ill continue to try giving them the benefit of the doubt since the 1st two years of going in for service were pretty good.

I would give Nikki 100 stars if I could. If you are in the market for a Jeep, shes your gal! Very kind, patient, understanding, and hardworking. Will work very hard to get what you need out of a car. I have already told a handful of friends and family members about asking for her if they are wanting a new Jeep/car.

Miguel, Frank, and Gus helped me tremendously......Yeah thats what I thought that first day.After they tried to sell me a car that was over heating during the test drive and Miguel telling me oh its not over heating that light just means the AC dont work I was talked into a dodge dart.At first it seemed fine but the car cant be locked. The key fob does not work and if I try to unlock it at the door the alarm goes off which causes the car not to not start for a while.If Im stuck in traffic the car over heats. Living in Houston and working in the med center thats a bit of a problem. So now Ill have to get that fixed.All together i dont ever see myself buying from them again. They got the monthly payment to an amount I can work with but they wont fix any engine problems or the fact that I cant lock my car.Pretty sure they knew of the problems when they talked me into it. I originally asked for my money back and they just didnt want to give it back to me. So now Im stuck with it and when I trade it in, it will not be here.

Give your time and money to another dealership. Deal was all set up, salesman and managers were well aware of our 13 hour drive coming to pick up the vehicle. Halfway through our trip, they go against their word. After stalling, we show up 2 days later until they can get organized with the paper work and we still had to wait for the truck to be ready. We were thanked for our patience and purchase with arrogance, disrespect and entitlement.

We had a great experience, Carlos really helped us find what we wanted and was very informative with everything and every step of the way. I would definitely come back to home for future car purchases.
