(This happened recently at the shop @ 10611 Westheimer Rd, Houston, TX 77042 . They recommended I change the alternator because a bearing is failing - their words . That is the 1200 dollar quotation for something that was not needed.) I recommend you read my other reviews to see I do give fair ratings to places that deserve it.I read the reviews and took my car here because the reviews were good. Ive been working on my car myself so I knew a lot of things that were good and things that were not good. I took it here and paid for an inspection of the suspension parts ($50). They called and recommended I change parts that were just changed and when I said that I just changed it the guy said that they probably did not put the new part in, which was ludicrous because I stood and watched it myself. Thats when I realized these guys were not going to be honest. They recommended $1200 repairs of non-critical items with a total quote of over $5000 for a $3500 car. I face palmed so hard because I thought Id found an honest place but Im quickly realizing that no such place exists in Houston.Your best bet would be to pay for that expensive inspection at the dealership. At least theyre as honest as you can get OR get yourself a trustworthy mechanic.Maybe restrict it to just basic inspection, oil changes or tire work at these places. Nothing more.

I came here for my annual vehicle inspection yesterday and was very pleased at the timeliness and professionalism at Westchase Auto Repair. The owner was friendly and respectful of my time. I needed an Oil Change, Plus I requested them to Pop in my new headlight bulbs. I accidentally bought the wrong ones ( Actually Auto Zone gave me the wrong size) But Westchase Auto Repair Center had the correct size; And at a BETTER PRICE than Auto Zone.. Jamie waited on me at Westchase Auto Repair. There is something about his demeanor that gave me an immediate feeling that I was in Good and Trusted Hands! All in All it was a Great Experience.

Talked to Chad about an engine issue that my CC VW was having. He provided a quick diagnosis and determined that same parts needed replacement, he pointed out that the parts still had warranty and was going to go with that. Very friendly check in. Got a pretty good price for breaks, axle and power steering issues. They gave me a ride home (I don’t live far) and I thought that was super cool. The work was done fast and quality of work was awesome. I only knocked a star off because they were aware that the tire pressure light was on and didn’t put air in them. After picking up the car I had to stop and get air. Other than that wonderful service. I’ll definitely go back for all off my future vehicle repair needs. Thanks a lot guys!

I went in to get my spark plugs replaced for maintenance purposes since I hit 100,000+ miles. I spoke with Brian on the phone before coming in and he was very kind and informative. When I went in I worked with Chad and he also displayed the same courteous behavior. All the staff were friendly and informative. They informed me of other possible issues with my car but did not try to up charge me for them or pressure me into getting it fixed right then and there although they seemed trustworthy enough to take serious heed to their advice. They completed the work faster than they mentioned and even cleaned one of my sensors for free!!!! The positive reviews for this place are definitely not a fluke! I will certainly be returning back here in the future.

Because it was so close to my state inspection they did that at no charge. This is my new mechanic shop. I was going to one which was far away from us in a ritzy area of town and had prices to match. (It used to be closer to us at one point, but we moved and still kept driving all the way over there.) When the former place charged me nearly my full weeks paycheck just to change my battery, it finally dawned on me that in a city of this size, surely there are establishments that are more reasonable and closer to my house. I work as a secretary in a high school, so most days I am just thankful to afford having a car in the first place. I found Westchase Auto Repair through a Google search in a smaller perimeter around my house and they had good reviews, so I called ahead of time to ask about prices for filter changes I needed. The person on the phone was very helpful and nice. The shop was even open Saturday which meant I didnt have to take time off of work to go! The people in the shop were very nice, communicative, and timely. They did the filter change work for much less than I was quoted at my former shop which would have left me without money for food for the week, the quote was so high. (Im not even exaggerating.) So, I am deeply grateful to Westchase Auto Repair, because they did the work, I was able to afford it, AND I was still able to buy things I needed for the week too. Relief doesnt even cover it. I was literally praising God for days. I already told my sister and brother in law about this shop. They plan to go there now too.

My first time here as my car overheated near there. Chad was very clear and upfront about the process of finding out what was wrong with the car and after a while his manager Brian came out and did his absolute best to answer my highly technical questions about my car’s problem. Having answered my questions to my satisfaction I gave him the go ahead to do the repairs. I even accompanied Chad‘s dad on the run to AutoZone to get the hoses that my car needed. The car was fixed in no time, at the price quoted, and Brian threw in an oil change for free. Such good service, I came out of there feeling really good!

I originally went to this auto repair a few months ago to get a diagnostic because it was so close to where I lived. Since then, I have taken my car to this location a few more times. Their customer service is second to none. Chad and Brian are very honest about your cars condition and they will not charge you a penny extra for hidden repairs. They will run everything by you before they proceed. I live about a half hour away from the shop now, but I will not hesitate to make the drive again, should I need to. I came in to have them check my brake lights as they were not working. They told me the price they would charge up front for diagnostic which was nice to know. Turns out they weren’t able to help me as it was an electrical repair they don’t specialize in. However I was informed of this right away, they referred me to a place that could help and didn’t charge me anything. Very nice and professional. Would definitely go there again.

It’s always a positive experience when my boyfriend and I bring our cars to Westchase Auto Repair. We discovered the shop when we used to live in the area but even though we’ve moved, we still take our cars to this location because we trust Brian and the staff.

Im super excited to write this review to tell everyone how awesome these guys are. Unfortunately, I had some minor damage from a collision and Westchase Auto Repair Center took my car in right away and repaired it. (Faster than I anticipated) My first interaction was with Chad over a phone call because I was anxious about bringing my car to any repair shop and he reassured me that they would be able to take a look at it and determine whether they could repair it or not. After dropping my car off to be repaired I was less anxious as I spoke to Brian the shops manager and he reassured me as well that they will do their best. And when I tell you, they did just that. My car repairs were completed in less than 4 business days and the work they did looked as if I had not gotten into an accident! (Thats what your looking for right?) Overall my experience from start to finish was great. I highly recommend these gentlemen as they are professional, efficient and knowledgeable.

I came here due to the high reviews. I got my oil, oil filter and air filter changed. This place would let you know the price heads up. The total price was 71.64. Everything was done around 40 mins. Workers are friendly and would recommend you the parts that you needed to improve the most and give you a price without letting you feeling the pressure.

I got my inspection and oil change knocked out in like 45 minutes - super professional, friendly, quick, knowledgeable, and inexpensive. I spent $85 (I think they were doing an oil change special for $30). I would have spent $85 for JUST the oil change at Take 5 (where I was originally planning on going).Ill definitely be back.

I went there for door latch replacement, which they already told me it will cost $50, but for check out, cashier asked for $150. I remind him that your estimate was$50 but he told me no, it is $150, even though they gave me written estimation beforehand.

Came in right before they closed and the guy I went ahead and did my state inspection friendly service the wait was not long at all would I refer a friend yes most definitely.

You won’t find anyone better than them! I had to learn my lesson the hard way. I first went here to see what was wrong with my car. But after they gave me the price, I went to a shady mechanic because he was charging way less. BIG MISTAKE! I ended up suffering from his faulty work throughout the year and paying hundreds of more unnecessary dollars. Needless to say, I have been coming here ever since. They’re honest workers and really care about their customers. The price is worth it to know it is done correctly. I will never go anywhere else!!!

I came in right after tropical storm Imelda with something underneath my bumper hanging off. My husband used to love this place because of their professionalism. Not so long ago, he went there for an A/C issue. I was really suprised the way the new hires were focusing on upselling instead of doing a basic diagnostic. This place has a bunch of new salesmen who do not care about customers .
