Sara was amazing. She initially got a idea of what I was looking for and sent pictures prior to my arrival so that I was aware of my options. It was a quick and smooth process and I have beyond satisfied with my orderUpdate 11/1/21: NEVER AGAIN!!! The store itself is great, however the service department warehouse has been an horrific experience. First my sofa was sold before my scheduled delivery date. I went 3 weeks with no furniture after original scheduled delivery date. When my sofa finally arrived it was delivered damaged as the plastic wrapping the sofa was in had somehow been super glued to one of the cushions. This took an additional week to replace. 2 weeks later, my loveseat frame broke and was protruding out the back. Mind you, I am a single person household so there was no foul play that could have brought this on. I communicated the issue with Maintanence and they scheduled a service guy to come, he never arrived nor contacted me. I notified Maintanence if this and they scheduled again for the following week, he never came nor called. When I called the service warehouse they said the service man was ill and with the current COVID crisis I completely understood the delay BUT not the lack of communication. Thankfully I work from home and did not miss work. The third time Maintanence was scheduled he did not call nor show up again. I called the service warehouse with no answer. I text and was told my 1 year warranty had expired 3 months after purchase. I angrily called the sales department and a young lady called the service department on a conference call to inquire about my service appointment and the run around I had been getting. To my disappointment, my blue oversized sofa could no longer be repaired as apparently they only make 50 of each sofa and no longer had the fabric to repair. The worst part of this experience was investing in a $2000 2 piece sofa set, decorating my entire space, and when I tried to redeem my warranty my sofa no longer being available. I was provided a “identical” sofa set in a completely different color. Let me emphasize IT DOES NOT MATCH MY DECOR nor is it anything like the sofa I originally purchased. I’ve invested so much money just to end of with 2 sofas that are not the same model, shape, color etc. the sofa I received in replacement material is very cheaply made. The grey sofa cushions are not stuffed like the previous and are already deflating. The replacement set is very low to the ground compared to the one delivered and overall a disappointment. I did not bring this concern to the store because unless they have another blue sofa set there is no way for them to rectify the disaster. I believe this is something the store should be transparent about prior to purchase that yeah they may have a “warranty” but that warranty does not mean you will get a replacement identical to your original purchase. It’s time for me to purchase a bedroom set and I will not give this store my business ever again. I do not fault the sales department but more so the service department. I will be reselling my sofas once I find another blue sofa set elsewhere as I will not be forced to redecorate my entire living space because of this stores lack of transparency and inventory.

No return policy should always tell you something. Asked for pricing and was told the prices are all based on package deals. No direct answer given for the cost of the table set, but instead they offered to add in a sectional couch to sweeten the deal. Received the furniture on time, table was fine, but the couch was one of the lowest quality pieces of furniture I have ever seen, on top of being totally different fabric and color than what was shown to me and facing the wrong way in my living room.They did agree to pick the couch back up and take it back despite the no return policy, which I am grateful for, but all of it could have been avoided if they were just honest about the pricing to begin with. After everything and the couch being returned I ended up paying 1200 for an imitation wood dining set, plus about 200 in taxes and 189 delivery and set up fee. Almost $1600. Way more than I was looking to spend. The table is imitation wood and Ive seen similar ones all over online for much less (~$800). To top that off I financed the couch with them so the credit check dropped my score for basically nothing. Now Im having to deal with closing a 33% INTEREST account I have no use for potentially further damaging my credit.If the sales people had just been honest about pricing a lot of headaches could have been avoided and I would have saved money. Thankful they took the couch back but beware of NO RETURN policy because you will be at their mercy.

When I first walked into the furniture store at the Katy location I immediately felt like home. It was such a warm & friendly place! I was approached by Julie Beltran and we clicked right away. She is a sweet young lady that took the time to help me! as superb in herprofessionalism and knowledge. The care she showed me was amazing. She showed me everything & even gave me great ideas! Supernova was recommended to me by a family friend months ago and I had not been able to get in but after the freeze I needed to have my furniture replaced and decided to go and see what they had. I was greeted immediately when I walked in and they were attentive and eager to help me find whatever I needed. I wish the showroom had had more to choose from but the set of living room furniture I chose looks great and I will go back if my needs ever try

After a long search for a couch, Rigo made it fast and easy. He was very helpful and patient which is really appreciated because I am very picky. Many places I went to gave me a price and after fees it would be a completely different price, but here they stayed true to the same price, 10/10 recommend!

Extremely unprofessional. Paid $4000 for a bedroom set and kitchen table, the bed is very unstable, and when we called the store to complain they said oh well. We had already paid it off so they didnt care. Nothing but problems from day 1. Put $2000 down on the furniture and was paying monthly, they said they were holding it in the warehouse for us but when our house was ready to move in we called and told them and they said they didnt have our table. (They sold it out from under us). Warehouse and store do not communicate whatsoever. Took 2 weeks to get our table because it was on back order since they sold ours, was never told they were coming to deliver, was called saying theyre sitting at my house. Had to drop what I was doing to rush home so they could give is our table or me and my kids would still be eating on the floor because they would have had to deliver a different day. Horrible quality furniture. I will be telling everyone I know to avoid this sham business. They sell cheap furniture at high prices. BEWARE

Our experience in the store was good. Our salesperson was very helpful and went the extra mile for us. However, the delivery experience not the best. We were told everything was in stock and will deliver and that was not the case. Our nightstand was in back order. The dresser finishing was not good. I told the driver tgat this needs replacement. He did assure me it will be replaced. Lets see how long it takes. Maybe it was just unfortunate experience. I did like the store and the staff. Prices are also very reasonable.

The experience was awesome, however when it came to the delivery date I was informed that my living room set and my night stand to my bedroom set would not be delivered as promised on the scheduled delivery date on the day of delivery. On top of that I had to go through hell and hot water to get all of my purchased pieces to be delivered three weeks later. On top of that, they tried to play me as a fool.. I called to do a follow up three weeks later just for them to send me a text message that the rest of my furniture was 10 minutes away from being delivered. All this happened while I was on hold. Prior to that, Idid not receive any notification that anything was being delivered. Once the delivery arrived it was the wrong funiture. I called the company with intentions to call my lawyer to take over because of my lost of patience. Thank goodness for Mrs. Anna who was very professional and helpful in the end. Come to find out that someone had changed my living room order to something different from what I ordered without my permission or knowledgememt. They kept delivering the wrong furniture. I will never ever purchase anything from this company ever againTheir prices are overrated and not worth the price. Other than Mrs. Anna everyone else after I made my purchase was very rude and unprofessional. Stay away from this company especially the location off 45 and gulf freeway in HoustonTexas..

If I were you i would not go here. Im 5,000 in debt. They tell you one thing at the store then do another once you purchase. I didnt get the furniture i was promised. My furniture broke the spring is missing after just a week. They keep saying someone will fix it but they havent came. I also waited three months for a recliner. I only got my recliner because I was willing to settle for a different one that wasnt part of the set I ordered. But they did give it to me for free eventually. They dont communicate with you. You have to call several times to get a response. I have never bought furniture and now I will never want to again. Thank you!!

As soon as I walked into the store I was greeted by a sales representative- Sara -who was so nice and extremely informative, and assisted me in finding the perfect sofa & loveseat! She was the best!

1st report..brought me the wrong furniture..will check with them to see how they makeup for it....Need to wait a few more days to see if issues are corrected 4/4/21..4/11/21 update, they are dodging me now..sold me used furniture saying it was new, last said they would replace but have not..the used furniture looks like an incomplete set. Also bedroom set was not was shown, ordered ..delivery said I needed to contact store which I have and they said..um give me to next week to look into it..its been 2 1/2 weeks already.

At the beginning of my furniture search the 290 store were excellent. Reps answered phone calls and returned calls promptly. BUT once I completed purchase and was waiting on my delivery all hell broke loose. I had trouble getting return calls. Placed on hold for eternity. Kept getting the run arounds. Owner Anna blaming the warehouse personnel for giving sales rep incorrect info regarding the in stock inventory. The set I wanted was a 3pc and when delivered it was only 2pc because the recliner supposedly wasnt in stock and no one could tell me when I would get my recliner. After 3wks of waiting I went back into the store just to find out my recliner had been setting in the 290 store in a corner the entire time. I knew I should have never referred anyone else. Now my Nanny is having issues with her furniture order. JUST PURE MADNESS!! WE ARE VERY UNHAPPY WITH SUPERNOVA AND WILL NEVER EVER MAKE A PURCHASE FROM THEM OR REFER ANOTHER CUSTOMER.

Sara was such a huge help to me! She was very patient and knowledgeable and open about all the deals and best picks. She was also very friendly and courteous to us which was something we needed while dealing with the stress of moving into a née home. We’ve been friends with the supernova family for about two years and from the first day we met until now has been nothing but exceptional. Had a bad experience with this place, I purchased my merchandise and was told that I would receive it in 2 weeks cause they didn’t have it in stock on the 2nd week I called them and was told that they didn’t have it in stock and was going to take 3 months for it to get to me. I’ve been calling and sometimes they’ve ignored my calls and not answer at all they have caller ID so they know when I call this is nonsense now I’m stuck with nothing but my bill cause they said I will still have to pay 30% to cancel my order, don’t even bother with them. I’m not satisfied

0 for 2 here. Most recently purchased a living room set. Everyone was polite and ready to set up the purchase order of course. I thought it was fishy that the salesman kept trying to push certain items onto us, after we had selected something different. From a different catalog they offered us. We were told it would take 2 weeks to get them in since they were coming in from CA. Ok, then they called about a week later saying they were going to be a bit longer on back order, however if we didn’t want to wait as long, to visit the store and check out the catalog once more to change our selections if we wanted to at no additional costs. We went and yep, they tried selling us the same pieces yet again even after we told them those weren’t to our liking. We decided to wait it out for the living room set we originally ordered and here we are 2 months later and still nothing. Went by the place today and cancelled everything due to the fact that the couches were “still in CA”.The first time we tried purchasing anything from this place, they gave us the wrong items and hiked up their prices. We said no thank you to that as well.Overall, I’m pretty disappointed with the lack of accountability from this store.
