Wonderful place to get advice on your bike. The people are super friendly and helpful. I’ve gone in twice and they have given advice and told me when the things I was asking (like a new tire) were not necessary. Lovely and honest people.
The staff is competent at times. I bought a bike here and that was the highlight of my interactions with them. Everything else has been a miserable experience. Go to them if it’s convenient to go, otherwise try any other bike shop in the area since they’re really not interested in retaining life long customers.
So far so good. I’ve been in here over 6 times over the past 9 months as I begin to work on bikes for a hobby and the crew is always helpful. John has taken time to teach me stuff and I’ll return to keep buying my parts/accessories - thanks for the help y’all!
Neat shop. Had the bike I was looking for in stock and I was able to do a test ride. Sales man was informative and not pushy at all. A very casual vibe about the shop but plenty of help available when you need it. They even helped me load it in my car. I will be taking my bike back for maintenance when needed in the future.

I walked in to inquire about hooking up my dog trailer to a Thruster I recently purchased at this facility. The guys were not very friendly and seemed preoccupied with other things they were doing. They need to work on customer service. I would have looked around and probably bought other items for my bike if I would have felt more welcome rather than a bother to the employees.

Overrated shop I went in there the employees were rude they were too busy working on other bikes notice me and when I went up to them they were very rude i asked if they can replace my brakes and they said it’ll take 2weeks for a 20 min job after I told them no it’s ok they told me to go to another bike shop which they got me in and out in 25 min I’ll never come back to this place there are better bikes shops.
Went here because I was told this was one of the best places to go for a bike. As a entered the store saw a couple of employees, not one bother to ask if I needed anything. There was maybe 3 or 4 customers at most in the store. I walked around, looked at the bikes and not once did anyone come to ask if I needed help. I even walked up to the counter almost right in front of an employee and nothing. A couple came and they were greeted and asked what they were looking for. When the employee called to another employee to have him helped the couple, the employee acted like a child when he is told to clean his room. Seriously! I wonder why this place is highly rated. No customer service whatsoever.
Guys in the shop are awesome. Matt helped me out but everyone in there is very friendly and full information. Not only did the shop have everything I needed but I also learned a couple things while I was there.
The people were very busy when I arrived, but I was greeted at the door! The employees were super respectful of one another through multiple interruptions. I was in a huge hurry to pick up my granddaughter across town & they got me served with kindness & efficiency. All my questions were honestly answered as if I was the only one in the store. All the other customers were served the same way. No details were left out because they were busy. They knew their stuff. They never talked to me as if they were in a rush.
This place is always somewhere I can rely on when it comes to my needs for all this things bicycling which is my preferred method of travel! :). All of the people who work there are willing to give you the answers and advice you are seeking. I have been a faithful customer and purchased an amazing new Fuji hybrid/city bike today! They had the size I needed which has not been easy to find since I’m 5’2. I love this place! Recommending them to readers/viewers of this review for sure :)

Just moved into the area and was on the middle of my bike ride and noticed my pedal arm was loose and stripped. I just popped in and although didn’t have the exact color arm I’m so glad he asked because I could care less if it’s a shiny silver and the other is black.Fixed it on the spot and back and back on the trail. Great selection, excellent service. Im always taken care of as soon as Im in the door. The staff has always take their time to patiently answer all my questions before I buy anything. One time I showed up right as they were closing and whats his name with the hair opened up shop for me. You dont see that kind of service anymore these days. Very knowledgeable and professional. I bought my first Cannondale here and have returned for all the accessories. I am very satisfied overall. My next bike will definitely be from here!
Came in today looking to purchase a bike, was greeted and I was able to describe what I was looking for, price range, etc. They gave me a couple of bikes to test ride, and everything went well.
Good guys, they know their stuff and are very helpful. There was a bike still in the box and they got it put together for me in about an hour. I had come from the other side of town and so it really helped me out. They have some beautiful bikes. I would highly recommend them
My girlfriend bought a bike from here recently. Initially, our visit was pleasant and the owner was helping us and all the staff were friendly. As we were chatting the COVID vaccine came up and I mentioned that I would be getting it and was met with an abrasive response from everyone who worked there and since I am young and they assumed I didnt fit any of the required criteria for the vaccine rollout stages they called me a line cutter and made jokes suggesting that I was lying to get the vaccine.Maybe it is bothering me more than it should, but I think Ill drive down the street a bit further to go somewhere else next time I need a bike shop.

The owner is rude and not customer focused. I am searching for a specific style bike, which he could easily helped me find given I am willing to wait. His consistent excuse is that the pandemic has “hurt the business” because “he can’t keep bikes in Inventory long”. My friend that is a good problem to have given the circumstances and you should feel blessed, not annoyed. Come up with a better way to help potential customers coming to you for their bike needs and perhaps change your attitude. Then maybe you wouldn’t have people like myself go elsewhere. Thanks,
Charged me for a bike I purchased online that wasnt even in stock. Purchased online on a Sunday (8/9). Their voicemail said they would be back open on Tuesday. Called Tuesday, new voicemail saying theyd be open on Friday (8/14). I e-mailed them through their website and responded to the e-mail with the copy of my purchase confirmation/invoice. No one e-mailed me back. Called Friday and they informed me the bike wasnt in stock and that theyd reimburse me. Was told reimbursement should take a week. Its 8/25, no reimbursement yet, they havent responded to additional e-mails sent, and they arent answering the phone (they still have the old voicemail saying they will be closed till 8/14). I understand reimbursements can take some time but its the lack of communication and feedback that is aggravating.EDIT: Finally got ahold of some folks a couple different times. Each time said theyd take my info down and get the owner to call me back to let me know whats going on. Never got a call. Finally got my reimbursement on 8/31. This may be a normal amount of time to receive reimbursement but it was the lack of communication and charging me for a product that wasnt available in the first place that is the problem. Seems like they might need to hire more personnel to handle things like website inventory, responding to emails, etc. Theyre probably super busy right now; bikes are flying off the shelves during the shutdown.
I came to this shop to get repairs to a used bike I found on line. I asked the guys in the shop to add components to the bike as most of them were brand new in boxes tht the previous owner had purchased and never added to the bike. Turns out the components that came with the used bike I found were mostly wrong for this bike, it had the wrong pedals, the wrong type of derailleur... In short it was a mess. Dan and the other guys in the shop came to my rescue. Everyone was so nice and so helpful. They let me trade out the trick pedals my bike came with for pedals that were perfect for me. They rebuilt parts of the bike and made the Deore XT components work. I am so grateful... they know their stuff and they help you out like you were family. I would recommend this shop to anyone.
Best place to purchase a bicycle and accessories. These guys really take excellent care of their clients. I thought we were just going to buy and go but they made sure they paired us up with the right types of bikes and adjusted them for us plus provided some very good advice. Despite being extremely busy and with low inventory, they were extremely professional, fun and friendly.

The worst experience I’ve had with a business. I ordered a bike online and before placing my order I called to make sure they had it. While on the phone I told them I was ordering it. placed my order and got a order conformation. Called 15 min later and I was told the bike was going out the door and that it was sold from out from under me. Asked when another bike was going to be there and they had no answers. Left a message for Matt and even emailed their sales email trying to figure out when my bike was going to be there. Never got a call back and never heard from Matt. 4 weeks after ordering my bike from I cycle and never heard anything back. Called to ask what the problem was and the sales associate said he doesn’t know what to tell me that he will give me my money back. Good luck to anyone ordering online or walks in because I’ll never shop there again.
I bought my sons bike here, or so I thought, I call back a week later and it still had not been ordered. Tried buying parts here for my bike, not in stock, couldn’t take the time to assist in ordering it so went home and ordered the part myself. Just stopped in to get my wife’s new bike tuned up, and he tells me it will be a month before he can get to it. Don’t waste your time with this pretentious bike shop unless you bought your bike there! They apparently don’t like dealing with customers that purchased their bikes elsewhere!

I would not even rate 1 star if I could, Dani and collegues were very careless with our bike order, and after 3 days of going there to pick what bike to get, when it was finally ready he said he sold it to someone else and only offered a bigger size bike as a solution or refund just to get over with us.He couldnt have cared less.. SERVICE IS TERRIBLE, BE AWARE HOPEFULLY DOES NOT HAPPEN TO YOU, they sell more bikes than what they have in STOCK. Then they promise they will be ready one day and then they keep on delaying it. Go to a descent place where they will actually take care of you AND GIVE YOU YOUR BIKE.

Ordered a bike from Amazon, they sent the wrong one. Found iCycle, spoke to Matt on the phone, he was super helpful. Visited the store, worked with Danny, he was super helpful. Found what I needed for my son’s Christmas present. It’s great to see there are still specialty bike shops with EXCELLENT customer service. You don’t pay more for this, costs the same as online PLUS it’s put together and comes with free tuneup. Being closed on Sundays is ridiculous. People bike and shop on weekends, why would you not be open? Close Monday instead.

Its a real shame that this place cant seem to get customer service right. Every time I come in here at least one person has serious attitude. If it wasnt right down the street from my house I would absolutely not go in here.

I originally went to Bike Barn and was disappointed with the lack customer service. Then I went to I-cycle, worked with John. He knows his bikes and really took time going over the Fuji bike and accessories.I would strongly recommend this place!

Not only have these guys saved me money with discounts, theyve been completely honest with not trying to sell me stuff I dont need and recommending cheaper alternatives. -- Customer service, everyone that works there has always been genuinely approachable and friendly. -- And most convenient of all, they are located just a few meters east of the bike trail.Ive been doing business with them for almost a year now and this review is long overdue.

I was told to come for service between Tuesday- friday but when I got there today on Wednesday they say no service. But they did not want to service my bike to put on new gears because it would take to long. But thank you now 4 of my friends want to get bikes, I will tell them to not get them there because of lack of customer service.
Im from out of town and found these guys online because they were an LBS close by. I went in looking for a bike lock and one of their guys advised me on how to get the best lock custom made elsewhere (who does that?). I didnt quite need that level of protection so just got one of their locks.They also have weekly rides and the gentleman leading it was beyond courteous and helpful. He basically became our tour guide of the city for three of my colleagues and me. We couldnt have had a better introduction to Houston. For the first time in my life I rode in the pouring rain and actually enjoyed it.Update:The 7:00 faster ride is one of the best routes in Houston with as few stoplight as possible and the group was great. Staff even helped me out with my bike one night, gratis.I had a vintage wheel that needed help. They tried to true it but it was too far gone and needed rebuilding. Got it back, no charge, with great advice on how to fix it later if so desired.Good service, good staff, good times. Definitely 5 stars.

John was an absolute joy. His passion for bmx was contagious. I went in to buy a Big Flyer and left with a Haro Freestyle. At John’s request I tested 3 bikes. The Big Flyer was too big for me. The Ken Blocks felt a little tight. The Haro Freestyle just felt right. I would have left with the wrong size if it weren’t for John being good at his job.Great experience!

Great bike shop! I was interested in the SE Big Ripper and these guys had it ordered and put together for me within a week. I also had a bike built by them for my son. Great customer service, quick turnaround and I already went back in to have my sons bike adjusted and they handled promptly. It is nice to know of a reliable, knowledgeable, customer friendly bike shop. I highly recommend.
Biker enthusiasts yes, But a professional bike repair person, no. This is the only bike shop where more problems were solved than created. The first couple times I came in they didnt even charge me because it was a simple fix. Welcoming atmosphere, people are happy to help!

Great local shop with friendly staff. Ive been in several times and theyve always been accommodating whether Im bike shopping, need a minor part, or just have general questions. I bought my bike elsewhere before discovering their shop, but they will be getting my ongoing business for maintenance or any accessories I need to buy. Upon searching Amazon and other online retailers, their parts are always fairly priced and Im happy to support a local shop for a few bucks difference, if any.

Not good. We brought a wheel in for our tandem. The staff member said wed need to order a new rim but he would have to order it. He wasnt sure if the price would be between 100 or $150. We came back 2 days later to see if it came in. He had not ordered it because he couldnt decide if he told us the right size. He had made no attempt to contact us! We took the wheel and got a rim that they had in stock with a lot lower sticker price. I gave 2 stars only because he was polite if not helpful.
Its an okay bike shop but they dont take very good care of there bikes. They lean bikes againts medal poles which scratch them and if you got a bike repared or tuned up u can see it leaned on top of other bikes in the back. I recommend going to blue line bike lab on yale the real community bike shop
Took my bike in for a flat tire, they swapped the tube, did a full wipe down, lubed the chain, adjusted the rear wheel, and inspected the rest of the bike. Really went above and beyond for the price of a new tube and install. Ill be back!

I have had work done here and always got it back quickly. I just got into town and wanted to ride. I didnt have to check in the bike and they were able to adjust the gears and brakes on the spot. I was able to make my ride with time to put on my chamois butter!The staff is really nice and helpful. They had a good selection of helmets and I found what I was looking for. The new shop is really nice although I think they are still moving things around and tweaking out the store.
Get over yourself. The mask order has been lifted. If I choose not to wear one it’s on me. You do you!
Ive been to I Cycle bike shop a few times to get my bike repaired and to buy basic accessories. Each time Ive been the staff has been courteous and extremely helpful. There have been one or two times where Ive brought my bike up and theyve made the small adjustments I need free of charge. Its definitely nice to see a mom & pop style store where customer service is still important.One quick story illustrating this. I was out for a ride a year or two ago and noticed my tire was getting flat so I rode by the shop but realized it had been closed for 30 minutes. The owner of the store could see me standing outside and unlocked the door so he could help me. He brought out a tire pump and aired up my tires while we talked about good spots to ride locally. He didnt try to charge me for the help or anything, I was very appreciative.The only thing I dislike about the store is that the prices seem somewhat high. I feel this is due to them being a niche store and needing high margins to make a profit. I would choose Wal-Mart or Target for certain things such as helmets or bike pumps if you just need the basics. If youre willing to invest money in a good bike this is a great place to do it. The staff will help size you and let you try out a bike in the parking lot.

I went here to have my SE Big Ripper repaired.I purchased it from Performance Bicycle but the filed for Chapter 11 Bankruptcy, so I couldnt take it there due to them being closed.I had a bent Crank and freewheel that was making a clunking sound when pressure would be applied. I ended up upgraded both items to avoid having the same issue.Everyone there was extremely friendly and helpful!! I definitely will be going back for future bike purchases!! 💯🔥 A-1
My girlfriend (Syrie) told me she could get me there in 7 minutes. In about 8 minutes, Wes was working on my bike, while Matt helped me find some accessories(chain oil, lights, hand grips, etc). They told me what I needed, and why it would make my bike safer. Ive been in there multiple times after that and gotten the same great customer service that anyone could ask for. They fixed the gears on my commuter bike and got me rolling the same day, before a ride. I bought a used road bike that was almost dead and brought it in. Matt instantly took his vitals, gave him I.V fluids, and now hes in for a stay while they make him healthy againAt least Six stars

Customer focused, friendly and good prices to install items. Brother had knee scooter for bad foot and needed new brake pads. Immediate attention and offered him a chair to sit on while they installed and adjusted.

After reading reviews I feel I must respond with my experience. My sister and I came in with slipping gears on my bike. Our bikes are both over 20 years old. My question was worth maintaining or buy a new bike. Upon seeing the bikes he said by all means fix for $20 and maybe want to put new tires on the one as were dry rotted. He said by no means buy new bikes if you are comfortable riding these as they are very good bikes. I will definitely support this shop with my bike needs.
I needed a new bike shop having just moved to the heights. Took my road bike in a week before my first race of the season to get it checked, cleaned, and tuned up. I thought the recommendations they made, and the materials and approaches they suggested to be very fair and effective. For example, replacing my chain a little earlier than required would prevent me from having to replace my gears at the end of the season. They couldve skipped that and made more money. . The bike performed perfectly in the race, and the gear shift adjustments were better than when the bike was new. I have found my new neighborhood bike shop.

Stopped in here to take a look at a few bikes to replace my cannondale F4 that was stolen years ago. What I found was a group of folks that have a healthy obsession with bicycles, which is super handy when youre trying to find just the right bike for the type of riding that you want to do. After spending about 30 minutes looking and test driving different bikes, I found exactly what I wanted.Furthermore, they stand behind what they sell and their work. I had broken a spoke on my rear wheel about 3 weeks after purchase, and they replaced the spoke, and trued the wheel in about 30 minutes and I rode it again that night. Fast forward a few weeks later, I had broken 2 spokes on the rear wheel. They replaced my wheel with a heavier duty wheel. Didnt charge me at all.They also fixed a chain I messed up while cleaning it, (i broken one of the links with a chain breaker instead of using the power link. oops!) They fixed for me free of charge.I bought a new helmet from them, with the proper sizing because mine was too old.Thanks guys, i will be shopping with you often.
Dropped my Bike off March 27th for some pretty minor work, they held it until today, 3 months later, June 23rd and hadn’t done any work, ordered any parts, or contacted me at all the whole time.
