I went to check out some pool tables and met Gary and Ed and they were very friendly and had a no pressure attitude. They allowed me to look around to take my pick. That have a wide variety of pool tables varying from lower to higher price points. I selected my table and felt color and delivery date. The movers were very friendly and wanted to ensure the table was where I wanted to be. They assembled it perfectly and it feels like a brand new table. Thanks!

I was shopping around for a pool table and wasnt sure what I wanted. Jamie is very knowledgeable and answered the numerous questions I asked him. He was patient and neither him nor Gary put any pressure on me. I left to digest everything and did return a day or so later to purchase a table.

Hired Ed’s company to come out to my home to disassemble my high end 8’ pool table in prep for a move. Rene’ arrived on time and did a great job taking the table apart and keeping all the hardware together. He was very courteous and attentive to detail. Highly recommend them.

Tried hiring this person to refelt just the bed of my 8 ft amf playmasters table. The owner Ed was trying to charge me 9% tax on the whole thing labor and materials. Tried taxing me on mileage. Just to level and felt a whole table including rails should be in the ballpark of 400 to 500. This guy was trying to charge 598 for just the playing surface. I have everything pulled and prepped for him what a rip off!

We purchased a used table last month and the experience was excellent. Gary spent over an hour with us showing us tables and felt choices and it was delivered and meticulously assembled without issue on a Saturday. Both before and after the delivery I had a call from Ed to set up delivery and see how things went. The company was recommended by a friend who also had a very good experience with Ed Nutter as well, and I will recommend them to others as well.

The guys working there are very sweet and laid back. They were very helpful and knowledgeable. I dropped off some of our pooltable equipment on Thursday and they had it completely done by the next day.

Beautiful selection of cues and tables, and the staff was very helpful! Jamie had quick answers to all of my questions, and seemed happy to help. Ill definitely be back!

I recently purchased a 7 Legacy pool table from Ed. I have to say that these guys absolutely know what they are talking about! They have a great selection of pool tables and accessories to choose from and are highly knowledgeable. These guys take the time and treat each and every pool table with care. I wish I could say the same for their customer service.Prior to purchasing I talked with one sales associate who quoted a walkout price (including tax) using the calculator on his phone. Once the paperwork was finished Ed (the owner) pointed out that after tax numbers did not add up to the previously discussed price. After a bit of discussion it was determined that the sales associate had input incorrect numbers into his calculator and provided me with price which was lower by about $100. Ed was extremely rude during this entire transaction claiming it was my fault that I did not calculate the tax correctly and told me to forget the price he told you. This is an absolutely horrible way to treat a customer. It also shows that Ed is unwilling to stand by the people he employs, even if they make an easy mistake. The sales associate offered to eat the $100 difference when he saw Eds reaction. I eventually paid the $100 extra because I know we all make mistakes and Ed is unfortunately the only guy in town who refinishes used pool tables. After the entire ordeal Ed offered a 25% discount on any future purchases for the next month or so. I will not be taking him up on that offer.I hope anyone reading this knows that I take reviews very seriously and have tried to paint a fair picture of my experience at Ed Nutters Billards Experts. They are a great store, with knowledgeable staff, a wonderful selection, and an owner who is unwilling to let go of $100. If I could rate the store and all the employees I would give it five stars. Ed is the sole factor that earned his establishment one star.

I purchased a pool table a few years ago from billiard experts and it was the best table that Ive ever had. It was an oversized 8 foot Gandy with simonis cloth. Ed has a great business it is very customer service oriented satisfaction guaranteed. Ive sent countless friends to him for pool table purchases and I can say that it is the best place to buy a pool table in Houston! They also have everything with Billiards from pool cues, pool balls, cases and everything in between. This place is a Houston Hidden Gem in the Billiards industry. Highly recommend.

Great place for new and consignment pool tables and furniture. Alot better pricing then the Billiard factory. And the guys he sent to do my table were really friendly and knowlageable. Alot better customer service then Ive experienced else were.

STAY AWAY, UNTRUSTWORTHY, INEXPERIENCED AND DISHONEST!I strongly suggest you not contract Ed Nutter or any of his employees from Billiard Experts to perform any service for you unless you want significant damage done to your house, and then laughed at and accused of creating the damage yourself.I hired Billiard Experts in June/2013 to simply reposition a pool table in my upstairs game room. The pool table sat on a 5’X8’ area rug in a wood floored room. After the crew was caught trying to pull the pool table by the area rug and promptly halted, they ended up moving the pool table off the rug and onto my brand new wood floor with a dolly that created horribly obvious indentions in the wood. When I came home that evening to inspect the job (my wife was there while the work was being performed and did not know to inspect the floor as well and the new position of the pool table) I noticed the damage and called Ed Nutter to inform him of the situation… Now get this!!!... I was literally laughed at and told “How do I know you didn’t cause that damage?” As if I had the ability to move a pool table so that the damage could be created by me! During the conversation I offered to send pictures of the damage but was told that he didn’t want to see them. By the end of the conversation I was reluctantly assured that Ed would talk to his crew and get their side of the story. 1 week later after not receiving a call back I got in touch with Ed again and was told that he had forgotten about me. Then I was then told he would call me that Sunday to come over and see the damage for himself… of course no such call back or visit was received.At this point I’ve received a $1500.00 quote to repair my floor form the nice people at Floor Gallery here in Pearland and know that I will never receive any reimbursement or even acknowledgment from Ed Nutter or Billiard Experts!He wouldn’t even refund the initial cost to move the pool table! How’s that for customer service?!STAY AWAY, there are many other reputable billiard service company’s in Houston besides Billiard Experts.

What these folks dont know about pool tables isnt worth knowing.

My friends floor was damaged from a pool table move as well.offered a $100 refund but never got it. horrible customer service.
