If I could give this store a negative rating, I would. Ive been here a couple of times and I have a tendency of forgetting to ask for a receipt, but honestly I think that it is a business unwritten rule that you are supposed to give the receipt to your customer whether they ask for it or not. But the lady is always purposely not offering to give you a receipt. Since she receives cash from most of her transactions, she doesnt give you a receipt unless you ask for it for the purpose of trying to hide the cash and not having to report it for her business income for when she does her taxes. It is not required for a business to give you a receipt, but you need to be cautious of dealing with this store since she doesnt give her customers their receipt without you initiating to request it.

Very nice store. Friendly service fair prices. I really did love this store so many things to see. I went in with my 2 girls and 11 month old baby and lady was so calm with is being there, this made me feel great. Thankyou for your kindness.

Winsheng Books & Gifts 永盛圖書百貨中藥行 is a great place to shop traditional gifts during Lunar New Year month. The store is full of goodies, including some hard to find gadgets, CD, magazines and books from China, Hong Kong and Taiwan.Winseng also has herbalist to help you to create the mixture for traditional Chinese medicines tea.However, watch out for insects inside of packaged herbs.

Diho Square is home to a number of small stores selling Chinese gifts. 3D posters, Winseng Books & Gifts has a nice selection of the red envelope Chinese New Year cards and decorations involving the 12 lucky animals (some of which are better quality than elsewhere in Chinatown). They also sell a large selection of Chinese herbs, 3D posters of buddhas and Chinese words, waving Lucky Cats, some unusual religious statues, sculptures of fish and vegetables, videos and books in Chinese, and bead covers for your car seat, and fabric kites. Be sure to watch the mesmerizing moving picture of the cars driving through a cityscape near the cash register.
