So I said yes to a White wedding dress which wasnt the plan. I needed it dyed Black ASAP due to my wedding being 1 month away. My Venue helped me find Natalie From Renegade which she was a life saver! Sent my dress 4hrs away to Natalie in Spring TX by Houston TX. Natalie is a busy lady but she did her best staying in contact. Took a few emails to set this up but it got done. She did sample dyed test on each of the fabrics in my dress. The samples were black & charcoal gray as the results (I didnt mind ๐) I said F it lets do this Natalie. Three days before my wedding she HAND delivered my dress to my in-laws who reside in Houston. They got the dress to me the day before my wedding 10-16-21. Literally saw the final look the day she delivered to my in-laws but I was in LOVE!! It was Perfect!!!! Ty again Natalie ๐๐
I highly recommend Renegade bridal. Navigating the world of wedding dresses can be a challenge for the creative bride. I was full of ever changing ideas and Natalie was super helpful. She is full of ideas and so is her page. Just looking at her site will convince you that you need a dip dyed dress (how cool). If you have any special requests for a dress, Iโm confident Natalie can bring your ideas to life. I remarried in May of 2020 and I love my gown. When my daughter got engaged in October I knew I wanted to dye it so I could wear it again. But never did I imagine how stunning it would turn out. The gown is neoprene and took what Natalie did very well. She is so knowledgeable about her products, and a joy to work with. I highly recommend her and her services to anyone.
My experience working with Natalie was a positive one. I had a wedding dress that I wanted to dip dye and the person who was supposed to be helping with my dress pretty much dropped out last minute. The wedding was happening in two weeks so of course my brain was in panic mode. My fiance and I were frantically scouring the web and even calling friends to find someone who knew how to dye fabric.Natalie was very sympathetic to my situation and agreed to take the job. She talked to me over the phone a little bit about the process and color theory and then that week I made the trip to Houston not being one to feel comfortable mailing a wedding dress. I was so nervous about this whole thing because handing your wedding dress over to have something done to it that not many people try...you can imagine. Natalie stayed in touch the week she was working on it through text messages so that I could see the process as each piece was being dyed. This was a HUGE weight off my mind. And when we went to pick it up the result was breath taking. It was exactly what I wanted.Everyone who saw it loved it. An unforgettable dress for an unforgettable day.
Im not a traditional bride so therefore I had My mind set on wearing yellow and not white I searched and searched everywhere no one what color wedding gowns I found Renegade bridal online.I was skeptical but when I talked to Natalie on the phone I felt so confident after the conversation I took my chances and mailed my dress to Texas from California.I cant thank her more for the beautiful job she did on my wedding gown and my veil. If youre a bride thats not traditional and want a different color other than white I would highly recommend Renegade bridal to customize your dress for you
After reading the reviews I am happy I decided to purchase my dress elsewhere. Natalie made me feel like my idea of my dress (I wanted simple but not something you can find in a bridal shop) was not good enough stating Im sure we can do better I was not a fan of her sketch and it was way more costly than what I was told at the Houston bridal showcase that were advertising for her. Unless you are a super artistic person yourself, this is probably not the place for you.
If you want a gorgeous dress with a modern edge this is the place to go.

I ordered a cocktail-style, eggplant bridesmaid dress for a spring wedding in Indiana, so I was a long-distance customer. Placing my order and communicating went smoothly. My dress was beautiful! Great end product. A bit of tailoring to my size made for a perfect dress that Ive actually re-worn. The design and fit were great. Since becoming a customer, Ive been following the new designs and love what Natalie, the owner/designer, has created. I am likely to use Renegade when I need a wedding gown for myself.
From the moment I saw their dresses, I knew I needed to work with Natalie for a custom dress. I felt great and got many complements. Black dress FTW!I have to say, communication was a little rough in the middle, but her new team is awesome and I think it was just a rough staff transition. I never doubted Natalies integrity or passion to make our masterpiece.
Natalie is a very creative designer. I wasnt really sure how to explain what I wanted but the dress is spot on and I love it!One of the biggest criticism I have with her is the communication.I had to chase her down more then just once and in multiple ways! So please be mindful of the dates.Picking up the phone is another major issue that needs to be worked on.Besides that, I like the company and the design work that has been provided.
Natalie was absolutely fabulous. She was so personable and quickly understood my unique request and aesthetic. She is super easy to work with, prices are great and work within your budget, and sheโs a true professional. Wish I had more events to get dressed for! Iโd come back to her!

I had to call them out on social media to get a return phone call just to buy the dress. Dress was 2 weeks late and arrived without petticoat. Small details were poor: bottom cut not a straight line and one of the hanger loops came off after just a couple times hanging it. If I wasnt in love with the dress, I would not have purchased it. Definitely would not recommend them to anyone.
I will start this off by saying that when I met Natalie I felt like I could trust her. I never doubted her ability to create my dream dress - so much that I completed payment of my dress well before it was completed (my mistake). She is extremely creative and exactly what you would expect from an artist. I ordered my dress in April for my December wedding because I wanted to be as stress free as possible about my wedding planning. I never received any updates on my dress from that point on. I had track her down and call different people in order to get any updates. It is completely impossible to get her to answer her phone and emails. I saw in previous reviews that others had the same problem...but saw her responses where she claimed to have rectified the issue by hiring someone to help keep her organized. All this to say that even though I ordered my dress a good 8 months in advance, I had to go shopping for a wedding dress the DAY BEFORE MY WEDDING.I gave her every opportunity to complete my dress. I honestly had faith that she could pull it off the whole time, but it was honestly a disaster from the get go. I am pretty sure she had to start my entire dress from scratch in early December - something about her overseas company. She LIED every step of the way. Assuring me that it would be done in 2 weeks, and that she had her FULL TEAM working on my dress as their top priority. It most definitely was not. She knew it wouldnt happen and yet she kept LYING to me. This is the worst of all. She is a liar and will say anything to make you think she has everything under control. Just DONT DO IT. Or take her a completed dress to customize. She had 8 months and barely managed to deliver the dress the day of my wedding - which of course I did NOT wait for. Natalie I trusted you because you assured me you had a full team working on my dress, but you just kept the lies flowing. In the future, just take the loss, (you had to give me a refund anyway) that way you couldve enjoyed your holiday and I couldve enjoyed the time leading up to my wedding with this immense amount of stress.
Amazing designer! I worked with Damsel White Label for a couple of pieces for my November wedding. Natalie, the designer, sat down with me to sketch and talk about what I wanted for each piece. While they are known for doing more trendy fashions, I had what I considered to be a very traditional style and they definitely delivered on that. Everything turned out so much more beautiful than I couldve imagined! The quality was superb and my items were delivered in a timely fashion. Would definitely recommend!
Natalie is the ultimate when it comes to custom wedding dresses in the Houston area for the ordinary girl. I wish I would have known how amazingly epic and affordable custom wedding gowns could be when I got married. I am now the proud owner of the most amazing gold sparkley open backed gown from Natalie and use it every time I can. If you are looking for the perfect wedding dress but are stumped because you just keep seeing the same boring dresses at bridal boutiques, stop right now and go make an appointment with Natalie. You will be blown away! I am dying to do a vow renewal soon just so I can have Natalie design me the once in a lifetime dress!
I was so excited to have a custom dress for my wedding. When I first went for the consultation, you walk in to a small room with sample dresses and all kinds of material laying around. What you imagine when going to a clothes maker. I got excited designing the dress with Miss Natalie. The atmosphere is so wonderful for creating. I left feel extracted with our creation as it combined a lot of elements from dresses Iโve seen and tried on.I was told that it should be ready by a certain day. Thatโs when problems happen. The day came, no contact. Gave it a week, still no contact. When I finally got a response, she said the dress was made too small and had to be redone. I was okay, I just wanted to know when my dress would be ready. When the second due date came around, no contact again. Gave it a week again, still no contact. Then the call came that it was ready.When I arrived, I was disappointed to see what my dress came out looking like. It looked nothing like what I thought we discussed. I was supposed to have portraits done, but couldnโt bring myself to use the dress.Miss Natalie had such beautiful dresses in her room, that I had high expectations. She was a nice and happy and loud lady. It got you pumped and excited. But I am just not happy with how the dress came out or the lack of contact.**Update**I took my dress to a different seamstress and was shocked at all the mistakes they found with the dress. The skirt looked very unflattering at the first fitting, but I attributed it to not having the right undergarments and shape wear. Later I was told that they didnโt put the needed material underneath to make it look a little smoother. So much that I had to switch the skirt. I also was told I was going to have to pay extra for some rhinestone and details to make the dress sparkle. It had none. I had to go over my budget to fix the dress into something more wearable and a little more to my liking. Even then I was so disappointed with it that I didnโt feel very excited to wear the dress. I wouldnโt have made this purchase if I knew how much I had to go and spend extra to fix it.Again, miss Natalie was a wonderful woman with great energy and enthusiasm, but the work she gave me was not what I would of expected, specially for such an important day.
I have purchased different styles and fits of dresses from Renegade Custom Made and they are all fabulous! I have a fit and flare that is my absolute LBD and a gorgeous flowy silver gown I wore to Law School Prom. I cannot say enough about Natalie and her team. The dresses are perfect and the customer service is top notch. I recommend Renegade to all my friends and cannot wait to order my wedding dress from her.
Terrible experience, my dress was delivered several months after it was supposed to be delivered, just FEW HOURS before my flight for my wedding destination, NOT COMPLETE and NOT MY SIZE. I couldnt wear it so I had to buy I completely new wedding dress way over my budget because I had no more time. I was promise to be refunded for the money I spent for the original dress ...I didnt receive anything. A complete waste of time, money and STRESS! Im sorry to write this review, I dont usually do it, but my experience was really bad, because I trusted the wrong person.
This is a message to all brides that are looking to contract natalie for a custom design dress. Natalie seems pleasant and trustworthy, which caused us to book her July 18, 2018 by making our initial 200 dollar deposit to secure a delivery date of May 7, 2019. We contracted for the more expensive and more personal custom package provided by natalie. We had an agreement from natalie to pay the initial 50 percent by Thanksgiving in order to get the dress by April. We paid earlier than agreed and began production. During the entire process of designing the dress for my wife we had to constantly hunt down natalie and ask for updates and for the majority of the time we were ignored. It was in February of 2019 that we were told the dress was in the factory in Houston for pattern making. My wife was tasked to find shoes to get a scope of the length of her dress and choose lace. Once we got her shoes and she got measured in March we still hadnt been given access to the lace gallery to choose her lace. Which we constantly asked for as well as updates again and were informed that the dress was still in the factory in early April. Natalie then promised to take the dress with her as she was going out of town and would finish it upon her return.The week after she was supposed to come to our house and fit my wife, but instead went to Galveston to work on prom dresses. At this point we had already paid over 3,000 dollars for the dress and were put on hold and left hanging for some prom dresses she stated she had to alter. Then the week before out wedding on April 30, 2019 Natalie had my wife come in to see the dress on a mannequin and promised everything was going to be done and ready. She told my wife she was going out of the country to Rome for vacation and would not be available till the 11th of may. This was in breach of our contract with her as we had a secured delivery date of may 7th. She promised my wife that she will have her dress and the seamstress she contacted would get her finish in final fitting.Later that day the seamstress contacted us to confirm if we knew the dress she was asked to finish as a final fitting was in pieces and not sewn together at all. We were shocked to find out the news and were being told we would have to find another seamstress or pay an additional 2,409 to get the dress put together. We contacted natalie and expressed discontent in her deceitful promises and pleaded for her to fix it. She made a contract with the seamstress named fabrics. We were then told Saturday that the cutting and pattern of the dress provided by natalie was not measured correctly and cut poorly and the dress was not suitable to complete and a new would be made from scratch.At no point did we make and contractual obligations to pay additional costs. We were delivered a dress on the day of our wedding but later than promised. The dress was pretty but it is a one time wear and not a complete dress nor a 3,000 dollar dress. I reached out to natalie to rectify the issue and seek a refund as she broke contract and lied to us constantly during the entire process. Natalie agreed to provide a full refund may 29, 2019 via an email. I waited two more weeks and still recieved nothing and made contact again. I was promised half of the refund upfront that day and the rest later and still natalie did nothing. Now I am having to seek legal council and was advised to try one more option before sending a primary demand letter to natalie and allow her time to rectify the situation. If that does not happen I will have to pay additional expense to take her to court. During all of this my wife and I suffered the loss of a child 17 weeks into pregnancy and notified natalie of this when pleading for information regard my wifes dress in March of 2019. After knowing what we been through she still lied and made false promises to my wife in person and has shown no remorse for her actions. I warn all future brides to avoid natalie or to approach with extreme caution if you dont believe my story.
My dress was amazing! I felt perfect on my wedding day, and my dress remained stunning despite my 3 year old flower girl climbing all over me.
My friend went to Nataly at Renegade Bridal for a custom wedding gown. She sold her on the dream and was great at getting her initially set up. However, even though Nataly promised that she would keep in contact with my friend she never did. About two months out from her December wedding date I asked her what the status was on her dress and she told me that Nataly would barely communicate with her and that she was promised on several occasions that the dress was en route from her overseas factory where the actual fabrication of the dress was taking place. Approximately 1 month later, my friend finally got the truth from Nataly, that the dress was not complete but she was going to finish it herself in time for her wedding. When my friend arrived at Natalyโs studio, the dress was just pattern pieces that was dyed ORANGE instead of the pale blush color she requested.At this point, I told her to find a plan B but Nataly reassured her that she would make it happen and to trust her. Long story short, Nataly consistently and blatantly lied all the way till the end. At one point she claimed that she was in the finishing stages and the only thing left to do on the dress was to install the zipper and finish a few appliquรฉs. She claimed that she and her seamstress were working around the clock. We scheduled a final fitting for a few days later. When we arrived, she was almost an hour late and had her dress rolled up in an Ikea bag. When she took it out it was in 3 separate pieces. No zipper, the hems all unfinished... not even 60% complete.. this was about 2 weeks out from the wedding date. But still, she insisted that she would have it complete.My friend trusted her and gave her every benefit of the doubt. She gave her every opportunity possible to make it right and ultimately she had to buy an off-the-rack dress from a bridal salon the day before her wedding.Based on the interactions that I personally had with Nataly and seeing what she put my friend through, I would never ever ever ever recommend that any bride trust her. Sheโs a friendly enough person but the lies and excuses were so unprofessional and unethical as a business owner.I would have had more respect for her if she had been honest with my friend and recommended that she find another option in advance but it seemed that she was more concerned about not having to refund the money than keeping her clientโs best interest at heart.

WHATEVER YOU DO - DONT BRING YOUR BUSINESS TO RENEGADE BRIDAL! WASTE OF MONEY AND A SCAM. BRIDES DONโT WASTE YOUR TIME.I found Natalieโs business on google and decided to give her a try(ignoring all of her subpar reviews) for my bridesmaids dresses because I wanted a simple trumpet/mermaid style that isnโt found in national brand stores. In November my bridesmaids and I had a consultation with her where we went into detail about what I wanted their dresses to look like and the steps to make the dresses. Natalie advised us she sketches out all of the details for designs and itโs sent to a โfactoryโ overseas. She also assured us the dresses would take no longer than 2 mos. According to her 1 bridesmaid had to be fitted and pay for a dress in full in order to โlock inโ the price for the rest of the girls. I was fine with this solely for the fact that I would be able to see 1 dress before deciding to go forth with the remaining dresses. Fast forward fromNovember to January.. I get NO updates from Natalie. ANY time we communicated about the exact date the dress would be ready I was given a VERY general answer and I had to be the one to call and text her. She would go DAYS without returning my phone calls. The last week in January after finally getting her to answer a phone call she told me the dress had come in but needed some โtweakingโ and she had sent it to a local seamstress but it would be ready by end of week. I was still very understanding at this point and set a time to pick up the dress Saturday afternoon. When Saturday comes Natalie texts me attempting to change the time for me to pick up the dress, stating sheโd be in and out of her studio and she had events/meetings - totally brushing off our agreed appointment time. Also, these โโmeetingsโ were never brought up before when we set the date and time for me to pick up the dress. I quickly said no as I had already made plans for my day. She then proceeds to say the dress is STILL with the seamstress and I could pick it up from her instead. At this point Iโm very frustrated and tired of getting the run around. I call the seamstress to get a clearer understanding of whatโs going on because something is NOT adding up. I asked out of mere curiosity was she making the dress from scratch because โtweakingโ a dress shouldnโt take this long. I am then advised that she is not only sewing the dress from SCRATCH for Natalie but was given all of the materials to do so TWO days earlier. I WAS MIND BLOWN. not only did Natalie LIE about the dress being ready, she was USING ANOTHER WOMANโS BUSINESS AND WAS TAKING FULL CREDIT FOR IT. After going to the seamstress we both agreed the dress still needed work to have the classic mermaid fit I envisioned - none of which is her fault. As she was given the wrong instructions by Natalie and the WRONG MEASUREMENS were taken. To this day Natalie has not had the decency to call and check on me as a paying customer to see how I liked the finished product or to even apologize. She is a horrible business owner with no tact or professionalism. Someone who is in the business of weddings should definitely have better business practices. I now see every negative review she had was TRUE. She doesnโt make custom gowns, she lies about merchandise being ready, and she DOES NOT COMMUNICATE. I wrote this review for other brides like me so that she wonโt continue to do this to others.
