Lied about contract. Signed on owner’s ipad. It said nothing about a 5-yr contract. Equipment is horrible. The parts that do work only work maybe 20% of the time
Worst Alarm company ever... dont just run, flee from them! Do not sign up for their fake offers. Do not entertain a conversation with their sales reps! All lies to tie you into a long term contract!Wish there was a zero star option because they absolutely do not deserve 1 star.
They had several people lie to me. I asked multiple supervisors and they put me on the phone with several people who all claimed I wouldnt get charge when it came to having to cancel due to a move.
Dont use Northstar alarm its a bad company there not very professional we paid $350 to have the system installed. And to help program it we paid $35. Our monthly payment is $68 for 5 years and the alarm isnt even working anymore. We should of got ADT. When we call for technical support they never answer and if they answer we are put on hold for more than 30mins. Dont waste your money on them get a better more professional company one that doesnt sale you the equipment. And one that doesnt give you a 5 year contract.
I was forced to give 1 star! This company is a fraud. They told me they would move my equipment at no charge when I signed up then tried to charge me for the move. I continually experienced technical problems resulting in false alarms for which they refused to offset the cost. They auto renewed my account for 18 months after a 60 month term without my authorization. They refused to cancel my account with a prorated bill the day of my second move. The branch manager I spoke with on the phone refused to let me speak to his manager stating that he has no supervisor. Hands down the worst customer service Ive ever experienced. I will do my best to spread the word about this experience in hopes that no one else gets raw deal.
