I just wanted to reach out and update my review of how amazing 🤩 Durrett Motor Company was to me!! I started with a low credit score but had a large down payment and I was able to choose what I needed for my family. The payment center ladies were awesome in achieving my goal of being able to pay my vehicle off!! My little family loves our vehicle and maybe in the future when we decide to upgrade we will be back!! I recommend coming here if you like what you see on their lot!! They will work with you and make sure the vehicle fits your needs!!

If I had option for ZERO STAR I would put ZERO! Manager chic is rude af! My vehicle was wired rigged all over the place and so many things wrong with it mechanically. Ace& bakes went out first week but they hyped it up as great working vehicle! Two mechanics said there were so many problems. I spent thousands of$$$ fixing and still making monthly payments. Moving forward I will have mechanic check out vehicle from lot.

If you want to fix something every month on your car, buy from here. Will sell you a car saying it’s been through a 180 multi point inspection for your car to only keep falling apart. Wants you to pay your car note on time but isn’t compassionate about their customers and all the problems their vehicles has caused them. I loved my car from here but honestly it wasn’t worth all the problems and money it has caused me. There’s no way something should be wrong with my car every month if I keep the maintenance up to date on my vehicle. Buy at your own risk, you have been warned. Been a customer since February 2020. Highly wouldn’t recommend.

Tried to purchase a vehicle and sat there for to many hours while they told us the payments would be 100 a week after we discussed 210 per month. Then had an additional 4 thousand added on to the price for unknown reasons. Seems sketchy to me.

I would like to shout out a big thank u to Megan and Maria at Durrett Motors!! I came in the door expecting to be unable to be financed or given any type of deal on a truck. Megan was polite from the start her energy and positivity made me stay and do business with Durrett Motors. I was honest with her and she was straight forward with the info and had patience and a smile. Im currently financing a vehicle with them, was the best deal I could get with current situations, however I need to say something.Ive only had the car about 3 1/2 months now and my transmission is slipping. I called them asking if I can bring it in to get checked. Theyre response was your complimentary 3 month warranty with us is up. Then proceed to say take it to this mechanic shop that we send all our customers to. I went there, he did a diagnostic and then said he doesnt fix transmissions and then referred me to ANOTHER place. This isnt my only issue since having the car. A month after getting the car I was having tire pressure issue. So I took it to hopefully get a patch. Not even 5 minutes after dropping it off, I get a call. All 4 tires of a 2017 were over 6 years old and they all had multiple plugs in them. And when I called asking how could this have happened, never got a straight answer. Rather than say bring in the vehicle and well get it sorted out instead I got let me send you the address to this place where we send all of our customers. Didnt go there because that same place sells old showroom tires, because my roommate went there before. So I had to pay $625 to replace them all. Can never seem to get a straight answer from them. And I only went to this place because my coworker was praising them, saying it didnt matter how long I had the car from them, anytime I had an issue they just have me bring it in and I always had great servicefrom them.

This was my third time back. Love how I was in and out in a jiff! Alex took very good care of me. Love me some Durrett and love my new 14 Camry!

They were very friendly upon arriving to this place. Then once I filled out an application and explained that I was a first time buyer they did not seem to care anymore. They had my fiancé and I sit in a room for 10 minutes or so before they practicality kicked us out and told us to go sit outside because they had another costumer to help. Even still I went outside and tried to be optimistic understanding they was busy but no we sat outside for 20 minutes and not one person came to help us or say I’m so sorry we’ll be right with you. I understand it’s a hassle to deal with first time buyers I was just trying to get all the information I needed about the cars they had to offer. I did not appreciate how we were treated and will not be back here.

READ THIS AND BEWARE 6/8/2021Went in on 6/7/2021 to get started on financing a vehicle. Got started in the process of financing, got my credit ran and started working with a credit union to finance a vehicle only. Was told to come in at 3pm on 6/8/2021 to put down a down payment. Came in at 3 with the down payment only to find out they sold the vehicle when I had been told they would hold it because I was at work. Was asked did I want another vehicle after my credit had already been ran in which I replied no. EXTREMELY unprofessional and would not recommend. Im going to leave this review on every possible platform to let people know how unprofessionally I was handled. Worst car place in the city

Very nice on arrival. Everything was good until we test drove the truck and the check engine light came on and the power steering was off. When we got back to the lot the salesman said he would not have us drive back to Louisiana under these conditions and that the truck only had one owner. We get back into the office and ask for the car fax and find out it had 2 owners and 2 (minor accidents) which is no biggie but then he comes back into the office with a new mindset telling us we have to purchase the truck as is (with the Check engine and power steering messed up) we tell him no so he goes to the back after a few hours we see him in the office next to us helping another couple, he had his manager come in and pretty much tell us we were not able to get the truck due to credit which is understandable and because we live too far from the dealership. Mind you we sent all of our info 4-5 days in advance so they knew we were coming from Louisiana. At the end of the day I’m glad they turned us around to a better dealership that could actually help.

One of the best used car dealership in Houston.Alex and the whole crew at Durrett are the best people I’ve dealt when is come to buying a car. Bought two cars from them this year one in January and one just this month ... it’s a must to go and check this place out.

Buyer Beware!!!!! I purchased a truck from Durrett Motor Company and really regret this decision. I literally drove this vehicle less than 1000 miles and the check engine light came on. After taking the truck to the mechanic recommended by Durrett; I later paid 1200 in repairs including two O2 sensors, throttle body, a complete cluster panel repair, and rear brakes/calibers. The Manager at Durrett refused to help at all with the cost of repairs and said, that is just typical wear and tear items. I left multiple messages for the owner, Craig, who never even bothered to return my phone call and handle his business appropriately. I traded an immaculate Honda Civic with only 50K mi that needed nothing to be ripped off with my purchase. Durrett obviously knew this vehicle needed repairs and probably just reset the check engine light and placed in on the lot with a greedy intention. I would never do business like this and would certainly not rip people off just to make a little more on the bottom line. Do not give these thieves your business. Go somewhere else that stands behind their name and reputation and cares about the laws of Karma and their customers! One Star isnt deserved.

They take a photo of you smiling while you drive off, but, within weeks my check engine soon light came on (recurring problem with other reviewers). After doing some research it turns out they bought my car from an auction meaning it’s sold ‘as-is’ and they have no idea what they’re buying.I had an insurance policy with them too. They made me go to their friend’s body shop in Pasadena to fix it and the guy didn’t replace everything. I had to return over and over again to get it done right and it still isn’t.I paid the car off about a year early to get away from them (sold the car to a family). Because I used in-house financing my car was equipped with a GPS unit. I emailed saying I have a buyer, I need the payoff, and need to know the steps required to get the title. They responded, days later, that the payoff amount in the payment portal is accurate, to mail in a cashiers check, along with the GPS unit (they told me where to find the GPS, how to remove it, and sent a photo of what it looked like). So I sell it for the amount shown in the payment portal and attempt to disassemble the GPS. A payment was due at the time I sold it, but, I paid the car off and certified mailed the cashiers checks so it is effectively paid off.The next day I spoke with them and they threatened to disable the car remotely and repossess it because I was tampering with the GPS unit. They told me that I actually had to send in the payoff amount plus $250 for the GPS unit and once they receive the payment they’ll authorize me to remove the GPS and mail it back into them. As long as the GPS unit is still operational (something I have no control over), they’ll refund me the $250. Ludicrous if not illegal.The owner had to get involved and the payment center sent an email basically saying forget the GPS. Like, duh, you want these $25 wires instead of a payoff? You want to threaten me with repossession when I’m sending you a payoff and following your initial instructions to the T?Oh and now after they receive my payment they don’t send a receipt, tell me the title will arrive in 7-10 business days, guess what? The bank ‘lost the title’. Did they tell me when they found out? Nope. I had to call to ask for the receipt and for a status of the title because they don’t reply to emails. Remember, the family I sold the car to is driving it around on faith that I’ll give them the title.Do not buy a car from this dealer just out of sheer principle if nothing else. They’ll lie and deceive you every step of the way. They’ll lie and deceive you every step of the way.

They are always pushy. One time they would not let me leave despite telling them I wanted to think more on it. Even the manager came in and told us to just take the car with us even though we kept saying no and she kept trying to word her sentences in a way that would trick us into accidentally saying yes into taking the vehicle. Like “ oh ok you don’t want the car, okay alright I guess your ready to go here’s the the keys”. It literally took us hours to be able to leave.
