Went on Wednesday, 8.25.21 and decided to pay with my credit card. After the transaction the worker in there informed me that I needed to write down my drivers license number on the receipt. Tens of thousands of transactions across the Houston metro area and other cities and I have never been asked this before. When I asked why they needed it and I told him I wasnt going to give it to them, I immediately got an attitude from the worker asking why I was giving them attitude. Okay....god forbid I question why you need this piece of personal information that no other stores require. A quick google search about your DL number can quickly reveal how important it is to never give this info away, that it is the second most important number to protect next to your SS number. So, why exactly is this merchant requesting it?? It is against the law to do so. They can ask for your DL to verify your identity but cannot ask for personal information off of it. Is this store up to grimy things, or do they just hire grimy employees? If it was done with ignorance of the law, then ask yourself is this the kind of place that I would want to spend my money if they are that clueless and dense. Where are all the DL numbers being stored? Who has access to them?? And again, why do you need them?? The worst part, is after this brief argument with the employee he told me my transaction would be canceled so my friend decided to just pay cash to end the issue so we could be on our way. I never received my canceled receipt (which I should have stuck around for to make sure it happened) and now it is still on my credit card statement and was never canceled on their end. So, the employee kept the cash and allowed the transaction to go through without the provided DL number even though he said it wouldnt be possible. The lesson here is STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE! There are far better smoke shops, that arent grimy and are very knowledgeable nearby on 1960 that would make for 10x a better choice than stopping in here.

Great customer service. Even with curbside service they are very knowledgeable and very helpful and patient. They took their time and gave my husband time and explained in detail what products do and how much they cost. Thank you for being so helpful and patient with my husband. Super inexpensive for the pax3, by 50 bucks, compared to the pax website. Looks like they are tryna get rid of their stock the best way they can. So take advantage of the deals but one of the dudes in there, needs to get rid of their trump2020 mask, because honestly its 2021 we have a new president and he made me feel as if he is one of those crazy Q people that believe in those crazy conspiracies. If its the only mask he has, think about it?? Not taking the pandemic seriously, and honestly as a business they should take everyone into consideration, because the majority of AMERICA doesnt want that dude as president. we all dont live in THAT fantasy. But all in all, Im glad we got to support a small local business.

The specific wraps that I always buy are high hemps, but don’t buy from this store. They have been selling old wraps for months. High Hemp no longer sells wraps that are wrapped around a plastic tube, they’re now paper. They’re so old to the point that the words are fading on the package & they are very dry & taste disgusting. Told employee about it, but they didn’t seem to care. Also, got cbd pods & they are full of black stuff which also seems to be due to prolonged shelf life. These products are bought new & have not been used.

They have some of the best prices around, I actually found a product that I’ve bought at 3 different smoke shops in Texas, and 1 other state. Well Mad Dog best their price on this product by $10 at both locations! This location was out they other day, so I had to go to a competitor down the road, I mentioned the price at Mad Dog to see if they’d match and welcomed them to call to verify while I was there, and they said best they could do was 10% discount with a google review mentioning the two workers names! Blah, so I’ll be keeping my business to Mad Dog Smoke Shop, which btw is a much nicer establishment in a nicer area too!

Please dont bother ....not worth it I bought a vape cartridge that they assured me to fit my pen I tried to use it at home that...by the way its only 5 minutes away from the store......well it didnt work.. ten minutes later of leaving the store I called to tell them its not working I explained to him that it didnt fit my pen he just said sorry about that mam we dont give refunds....r u serious...i was gone for 15 minutes ..oh and he gave me a better deal he wanted me to get another item of my choice and he was going to give me a 20% discount ...what kind of people r running this store but its seriously not worth it!!!

Was so great i got a chubbz

We got a really cool reasonably priced bubbler here, but I consider that a totally random occurrence. We asked for a particular product and that device happened to be the only one they had in stock. A while later I came to get a vape. Clearly these stores are supposed to specialize in vape products so I excepted the person at the counter to be somewhat knowledgeable in the products. The one I was looking for wasnt in stock so I went over to another smoke shop down the way, which also made me feel super uncomfortable since, just like this one, they try to rush you out. They lack the professional, comfortable feel of a refined smoke shop like Smoke Alley, where the employees are very knowledgeable and will make sure you know everything they can tell you about the product(s) you are purchasing. Anyways I bought the vape pen at the other shop and came here to get liquid. The dude was standing outside of the shop and told me he knows nothing about that vape and all he knows is that you need pods for it and he doesnt have them. I later looked at the instruction booklet and saw I could use a ratio of PG to VG liquid to fill it. Clealry, they must have had at least a few of those liquids in stock, but he shooed me away before I could even enter the store. I will never come back to this store after that experience. Clearly he stereotyped me for some dumb blonde and refused to give me any service. Thumbs down to yall. Thanks for nothing. Maybe you shouldve been nicer to someone who is a local guide on Google, in multiple cities around the state of Texas.
