The store is closed on Sunday, July 18,2021. This is because the System Is Down . The salesperson lacking charm or personal hygiene didnt know when the store would reopen.

Walked in with my girl friends because they wanted to purchase some pops and even a headset. But when we walked in, two of the workers were just standing behind the register not helping any other customers in the store. They had their phones out and they were watching something instead of paying attention. My friend kept trying to see how much a specific headset was but apparently you had to walk up to the counter to be able to get their attention.Horrible service. And as soon as one of them finished purchasing, they told my friend who needed a help with the headset to purchase the kingdom hearts key because she said it looked nice. Good to know they just wanted a sale and not to actually help!

Poor customer service on the phone n the store rude was on the phone and didnt nt greet me no welcome or thanks rude WILL NOT BE GOING BACK I PRAY !!!

Bad service, staff super rude and wearing the mask under the mouth. Had to ask for help and at the after choosing one they tell me they dont have any. Why keep the boxes on display if you dont have any in stock. Cant believe this servjce from the galleria gamestop, traveled 5hours to shop here expecting to have an amazing service. Typical game stop. Good selection of games and nerdy things. Im still a bit mad they bought thinkgeek and made it suck.

Getting the games I needed was very simple and easy. I was able to pick my choice of games from the wide variety that they offered for just the PS4. The place is stocked with even more games for the Xbox and Nintendo devices as well. Not much to complain about the store itself.

I had the same experience as a couple other reviewers. I wanted to take advantage of the buy 2 pre-owned games 2 free deal, but was told 3 out of the 4 games I choose from the shelf, were not in stock. While the inventory management is not great, the floor employee was very helpful in trying to find other games that might interest me.

Worst customer service I have ever experienced took my son for his birthday with his gift cards he accidentally left the game. 2 hours later show up and the cashier would not even look up the sale try to look at my statement on my phone showing the payment he told me that I was out of luck and could care less about helping me. They have a camera pointing directly at the register and wouldnt even check. He called his manager and basically acted like I was a liar. Horrible service. Yes it was our fault it was left but I have never in my life heard of a cashier refuse to check his register for previous sale so now they can make another $70 off of the game I already paid $70 for.

Game stop is not the same place it once was. This location is in the Galleria so its still in good shape. If you are in the mall already and want to browse some games then stop on by. I wouldnt go out of my way to just come to this location as the parking is terrible in the mall. I just hope that Gamestop doesnt go the way of the Toysrus and so many other stores these days.

No price matching is one of many reasons why this company is hemorrhaging; its a real shame... Nevertheless, I had a pleasant conversation with the staff at this store, and if ever, all stores are selling the same product at relatively similar prices, Ill come back here. ✌🏻

Not only did I want to find a company that specializes in football highlight reels for my son, but to present the presentation on a professional college or pro level with their film production. Most of the companies I ran across had basic editing & film style shooting, nothing that would set my son’s presentation apart from another kid highlight reel. Anyway, I was referred to this company and I must say I am very pleased with the service and skill level this company provides. This is literally the ESPN of High School Sports. The film quality was impeccable! Honestly for the quality of work, I’m surprise they’re not charging more. Great work Galle Game Sport!

Drake did an awesome job helping me. He directed me to make smart purchases and really made the experience so easy for someone unsure of what they want.

So i live 45-50 minutes i called for their deals they had modern warefare ps4 for $38 pre owned special and said they had a copy. so i drive 48 minutes from my house to get a copy that i placed on hold apparently to be told by two guys it was false information game stop should take the time and liberty to full train staff to physically have inventory in hand to not waste the customers time will never shop with game stop again

Worker specifically told us Game Stop DOES NOT buy used games, they only accept trades. Upon checking out, cashier said they DO buy used games. We are always treated very poorly at Gamrle Stop in Galleria and on Westheimer/Dunvale. No worries, third time is a charm and we will not be patronizing Game Stops any more.

Stood in line for 20 mins. Finally get to my turn to check out and they tell me the game that I pulled off the shelf is sold out. I asked why they still had the box on the shelf if it’s sold out. He tells me that they have to for marketing purposes. I told him i just wasted 20 mins standing in line because they make it look like it’s in stock. He just kinda shrugged and said, “yea I know. It’s dumb”. Prices are higher than most other stores that sell the same games.

Back in my day (yes its relevant.) GameStop had all game related items. Games, controllers, headsets, etc. Now a days, its a toy store with scams, unnecessary garbage, and SO MANY TOYS. Like sure, theyre related to the video games but you cant even go find the game you want without glancing at some item that comes from the game. Like Marios hat, Freddy plushie, keychains. I remember they did it back in like 2010 but it was only at the counter. Not everywhere you walk.

Be very Aware with this store, a guy named TAYLOR (easy to spot, full of tattoos and usually with a hat) invoiced me 3 Warranty for Games without me asking for and also put a Game Informer Digital Edition without me asking, adding a total of 24USD without my consent at all!

Ive always been a fan of Game Stop having a vast multitude of plushies and general geek swag, but this one has more than even the others. Prices are set across stores, and there is a bit of a cost gap since many DS games are either a buck or full price (as with strong Wii titles), but theres nothing wrong with this store itself.

Its GameStop. If you want games. This is where you go.

Selection was oddly smaller for a GameStop in this location.

This was just another game stop. The staff was helpful and polite, and the lines removed quickly, but nothing out if the ordinary happened to give thos place 5 stars.

I missed the preorder for Destiny 2 Limited Edition PS4, and was out of luck until Stefan did a solid by bringing in stock from another outlet. Would definitely come back again next time.

Ok so I’ve been calling GameStop because I want to see if I can buy a COD BO1 because I have BO2 and BO3 but not BO1 so I do what a normal person would do and call my local GameStop to ask “hey do you have this game?” So I call the GameStop stop it puts me on some pre recorded lady trying to sell me 2k18 so I wait until it’s done and I press 1 to talk with a staff member and it dials for like 15 seconds and I just get the pre recorded lady again so I’m like “huh that’s wired” so I press 1 again and it dials for another 15 seconds and then again prerecorded lady so I hang up and call again and do the whole 1 thing again and same thing... prerecorded lady trying to sell me something so I’m pretty sure that they are ignoring my call at this point and I’m very disappointed I have never gotten this kind of treatment at GameStop and will probably just buy the game at a different store because apparently trying to give your favorite game store some Business is just something to be ignored. (And also it could not have just been any other thing because when I called another GameStop they picked up immediately)
