My family has been going here since 2018. My husband loves “Diane” and I’m flexible when it comes to the doctors. I’ve visited each of them and they are all professional, kind, helpful, and brilliant.My daughter is too young to see them now, but we are planning on having her visit West Houston eye when older.A all around great place. We moved to league city, and still only visit this place for our vision needs.

I have been going to West Houston Eye for about as long as it has existed. I love the warm friendly environment and the professional care I receive. They are very thorough and I believe their numerous means of testing do the complete job.

Everyone is very nice and professional. I have been going there for years. Dr Rhodes is the best and she will explain everything to you so you understand what is going on with your eyes. Highly recommend.

I wanted to change my eye doctor after a terrible experience with them last year. I found West Houston Eye through my insurance provider online. From the start my experience with them was pleasant. The front desk called me and was very friendly and helpful.I arrived at my appointment and was greeted with very capable and personable staff.My wait wasn’t long.All of the staff that I encountered were efficient and smiling.Linda was a gem.The young lady that helped me pick out my frames was very helpful. She cared about how I liked the look of them as well as gave me all the options that were affordable.I would recommend this practice to every and anyone.My wife will be coming here soon as well.

Dr Ashley is the best!

Great care was taken as a precaution for the virus. Masks were provided if you did not have one, hand sanitizer and gloves were provided and required, and a large plastic bag was provided for my purse.The staff was courteous and helpful, both on the phone and in person.Dr. Rhodes was friendly and thorough in her assessment of my eyes.

I have been coming to see Dr. Rhodes since around 2006 or so. I had always hated contacts but accepted their problems because they were easier to deal with than glasses in my work. Within 5 minutes of my first exam, Dr. Rhodes pointed out that I had not been correctly diagnosed with an astigmatism and had been wearing poorly-fitting lenses for years! My previous optometrist had simply given me standard lenses that were stronger to make up for astigmatism. Dr. Rhodes took the time to correctly fit me with the correct toric lenses and life was SO much better! Lenses that comfortably fit, didnt blow out on a windy day, and I could see soo much better without headaches by end of the day!When Dr. Warstler (prior to it being Warstler!) entered the practice, she took on my account and treated me just as well as Dr. Rhodes.As some point, I changed careers and insurance, moved to the other side of Houston and had to use a different doctor who got the job done but just wasnt the same.Ive again changed jobs and am able to make it back to West Houston Eye. This time, I also took my 6yr old son in for his first proper eye exam. Dr. Warstler and the staff were absolutely great with the kids. They took the time to explain all of the tests to a curious child, showed him the results of the retinal scan and what they were looking for (how many kids get to see inside their eyeball?!), and then helped to find Dad some reading glasses that didnt make me look like a grandpa.I could not recommend a practice more highly than I would recommend West Houston Eye. Great doctors and staff all the way around.

Fast, thorough and comprehensive!

I love the customer service the front desk ladies provide and the amicability of Dr. Rhodes and her whole staff. I feel cared for and they are so helpful and listened to what I had to say and gave me good tips. My vision got worse due to pregnancy and they were so comforting in assuring me they would be there and help me with what they could as my vision continues to change even after giving birth. I can’t believe I didn’t switch eye doctors sooner!I live in Katy TX now and still make the 30 minute drive to see my doctor .

Dr. Warstler is my primary Optometrist, but I have also seen Dr. Rhodes and Dr. Wong. I would highly recommend this practice as a whole. The staff is so friendly and inviting and always go above and beyond. (They are also extra focused on safety precautions for COVID currently)

The staff was extremely courteous and did the exam quickly and on time. I didn’t have to wait at any time. Also, it should be noted that Covid-19 precautions were in place and practiced.

I had an eye injury last October and they took me immediately! Dr. Ashley and her staff walked me through everything they were doing. I am not an easy patient when it comes to working with my eyes, very sensitive there. They were so nice and welcoming. They really take their time walking you through the insurance, eye exam, and what is going on with your eyes. Dr. Ashley even took a video of my eye and showed me what is going on with my scratch or just my eye in general. Another great thing is you never have to worry about parking, there are plenty of spots. I would highly recommend Weston Houston Eye!

Dr. Wong really took time with me listening to and answering my questions and doing a thorough exam. She did not press me to do or pay for more then I wanted and gave me some helpful suggestions and advice. I have seen both Dr. Bagwell and Dr. Wong. I love coming to this office. Saw Dr. Linda Rhodes very nice and friendly but what I liked the most is how straight out she was and her staff is simply AMAZING and bilingual (Spanish).

I was unlucky enough to get some metal in my eye on Friday at 4pm and they were so awesome not only did they get me in last minute on a Friday but was able to remove 3 peices of metal from my eye ! I am glad to report a full recovery thank you so much! I would highly recommend to anyone!

Dr. Bagwell is very focused on patient care and education. I never feel rushed, even when I have a lot of questions. Her staff are very friendly and helpful. Finding the office can be confusing. There is another eye clinic (unaffiliated) next door to West Houston Eye.

They never bothered to call their customers to let them know the office would be closed a whole week from December 21 - 27, 2018. It is not even on their voicemail, which is just simple courtesy. Their customer service is lacking especially in the communication department.

Ive seen Dr. Rhodes and Dr. Bagwell for about 7 years. I like both doctors and find them to be efficient yet warm and friendly. They are very service-oriented, and I highly recommend them.

I visited Dr. Ashley Bagwell for a routine eye check after being recommended by a friend, and I enjoyed the experience. At other doctors offices, I have waited for a long time for my appointment, but I was taken almost immediately after arriving. The staff were helpful and I did not have to wait around at any point. Dr. Bagwell did a thorough eye exam and walked me through the different steps of the check, explaining to me why she was doing the various checks. I got a new pair of contacts (leave in monthly) and I love them. I wouldnt have thought to try them before, but I got a trial pair and think they are great. I highly recommend West Houston Eye Associates.

Dr. Bagwell is a wonderful optometrist and has a great practice. The staff is lovely and caring. Everyone had given great explanations when I asked questions, especially Dr. Bagwell. I definitely recommend West Houston Eye. If you get the opportunity, do request Dr. Bagwell.

Horribly dissatisfied. I wasnt told beforehand that my contacts fitting would be extra. I never had that fee with my previous eye doctor so I wasnt expecting it. Slapped with an extra $70 charge at check-out. I was told my insurance would cover my contacts. I received a $98 bill for the remainder of what was owed on my contacts. Go elsewhere because theyll blindside you with extra charges.

I cannot say enough wonderful things about West Houston Eye Associates, but I will sure try! I have had two perfect experiences and have been nothing but thrilled with the warm welcomes, professionalism, helpful staff, and excellent care by Dr. Bagwell/Dr. Rhodes. My husband has been coming to see this mother-daughter optometrist team for some time and I finally gave in and switched over. I only wish I hadnt waited so long to make the move!The location is easy to get to, just off Westheimer and Beltway 8 in a prominent office building; their space is tastefully decorated and I love how you dont feel like youre entering into a glasses superstore! From the waiting area, the glasses are nowhere in sight (but actually are tucked back in the more private area near the exam rooms). Such a small thing but makes a big difference in terms of not feeling awkward while you try on glasses. The exam rooms are equipped with new technology and once in the glasses showroom, there are lots of great options to choose from, many brands you will know and appreciate as well as a range in price point.Both myself and infant son have had our first examinations with Dr. Bagwell. For him, being that hes only 7 months, she took great care to ensure he was comfortable and watched his cues to see what was working with him and keeping him happy. He (like all babies) can be quite squirmy and usually gets upset when seeing doctors but Dr. Bagwells soft voice and flashy toys/lights won him over. I was shocked when he didnt cry during the eye dilation. You can tell Dr. Bagwell is experienced with babies.My appointment went equally as well. Dr. Bagwell offered some really great info when I asked about my contact type. I have been in the original Acuviews since the dark ages and Dr. Bagwell talked me through the benefits of the newer generations. She felt it was best for me to take home a couple of pairs of some of the newer contact options to try. I ended up really loving her recommendation and called the office back a few days later to place an order for my my year supply. They knew I had a baby and even offered to mail them to me so I wouldnt have to make a special trip!West Houston Eye Associates has exceeded my expectations in every respect. I wholeheartedly recommend this practice to anyone who is looking for a personal touch from caring professionals who make everything easy!
