Pretty good. Was worth the thirty minute drive in hind site. Only thing I would do differently is order extra condense milk if I get the plain strawberry again. It tasted better once it had melted a little.Only note is that they have a sign requiring masks to order but don’t have any upfront. I don’t know if we only had to wear it because we asked, but wanted to respect their wishes. I recommend that the business either put some up front for vaccinated customers that don’t carry masks.

I went here to get a drink. Selected the Northern Lights and the Mango Chico from the (5.95) drink menu. I was disappointed. It was basically carbonated syrup water. The drinks were attractive yes but I do not think it was worth the price.Ice cream was 11.95. Looks over priced as well as it is the size of large froyo cup.The Place was busy no doubt on a Sunday, but the staff was to inattentive to their surroundings. I actually have to hail one of the staff to notify them I was grabbing my drinks from the counter. This is in spite of having a buzzer which never rang.

TL;DR - Great place for an after-dinner dessert. My only complaint is it is hard to find a spot to sit down sometimes. My only complain with this place is it is too busy!! Poor servers were overwhelmed with the customers. I dont think we could get a place to sit if we didnt come in at a perfect time.We order small size sesame for both of us. It was a perfect size for an after-dinner dessert. It is not too sweet, and the whole time I was wondering how the shave ice was made. 🙈 The sesame adds a unique twist to shave ice. This is my first time trying one. I highly recommend you try it out.

It was pretty. The place was clean and the staff was ok. Crowd size was decent and the wait wasn’t too bad. The small ran us about 7-8 bucks. It’s a little over hyped for my taste, I’m sure there’s other good dessert places out there. This spot is def an Instagram scene if that’s your style this is the place you’ll want to be. Def wasn’t bad, but not something I’ll come back to anytime soon.

I love the bingsu here. The portions are huge and they have a variety of flavors.I usually order the bingsu shots, where you can get three mini bingsu of different flavors, but the espresso bingsu is not available for it. I was craving coffee, so I got the small espresso bingsu. It was delicious. It comes with some kind of chocolate powder on top and a layer in the middle. Theres also a scoop of vanilla ice cream included! On the side you get a little pitcher of a cold coffee (with milk and sugar?) along with another pitcher with sweet and condensed milk. Its new favorite flavor, but Ive also enjoyed injeolmi, taro, and black sesame.I will definitely be coming back there next time I want something sweet and refreshing.

The shaved ice is always good here and even better that they also have taiyaki. Located in the Dynasty plaza, spacious parking and the inside has a good amount of tables to chill. Although it gets pretty crowded here almost every time I come.Green tea shaved ice is usually my go-to. The regular size itself is pretty shareable. Lots of flavors and great presentations. The shaved ice melts easily in your mouth and the green tea ice cream gives a nice touch of sweetness. The taiyaki with custard and red bean came out crispy and hot. A bit different than what Im used to with taiyaki but still good. There also was a new item, the toast. We got the Injeolmi toast. It had subtle flavors, nothing too sweet. The toast wasnt as crispy as I would like. Overall, they have a good variety of desserts that also makes a good spot to chill.

This place is new to us but we also havent been to Houston for nearly a year. I noticed it on our way to pick up food from Sinh Sinh. When I read Korean dessert cafe, it piqued my interest. Only in Texas where its late December and were enjoying over 70 degree weather. Of course I was going to have the espresso bingsu while my husband tried the Mango Chico. The espresso bingsu came with a small container of condensed/evaporated milk and a small container of espresso. The shaved ice is so fine and fluffy. The espresso and the condensed/evaporated milk reminded me of Vietnamese coffee! Second time here. It’s such a great place to chill in summer. I tried green tea and strawberry cheesecake for small bowl. Then assorted fruits in regular. The spotlight is on the texture of the ice which is so fluffy and slightly sweet. It’s not too strong for taste. I also tried the fish shape Taitaki and Korean toast. I recommend Tai Ya ki with the crispy out shell and sweet stuff inside. The chocalate Korean toast is too sweet for me. In total, Cute products, simple decorations. One thing is not good is that the strong sunshine will be in the store in the afternoon.

Another fine addition to the Houston area. We had snowy village in Seoul and we loved it. It is finally here. We had the sesame bingsu and mango bingsu and Tayaki. Both are fantastic and tasty especially in the hot summer. The portion size is smaller compare to the one we had in south korea and it is exactly one size smaller(medium is now the small). The price is on the expensive side but ingredients and quality is more important for me. We will definitely come back for more. Highly recommended to all looking for some fine shave ice.

* The Assorted Fruits Bing Su was delicious. I especially like that they had layers of extra fruit syrup within the bowl of shaved ice. The only thing I didnt like is that the bowl was overflowing with the sticky syrup and melting ice, which makes it sticky everywhere, but not a major problem and should be expected when youre eating dessert.*Mango bingsu: yum! As good as I expected.*Injeolmi and Red Bean: My friends order this and said that it was not very good here, but I didnt try it myself. But the owner came by and was so nice that when he heard our friends were disappointed, he offered to replace it with something we would like even though our friends had already left. He brought us a complimentary taiyaki that we all agreed was super good! I forgot what it was filled with but it had almonds on top. That was some GREAT customer service!

Went on a whim after eating dim sum for some dessert with the family. Tried out Snow Village and it was surprisingly really good. Ended up ordering almost everything on the menu in one go lol. Didnt get any pictures of the three drinks (strawberry mojito, milk tea w/ boba, dragon blood). We also got a red bean and custard taiyaki. Bingsu was incredibly soft, flakey, and not overly sweet (big plus for me!). The drinks were so refreshing and the taiyaki was fluffy and the filling was sooo deliciously warm. I didnt even know they were there. The staff had great service and the place is pretty clean. Although appreciated, the only gripe is the strong smell of the chemicals they use to clean is unpleasant while eating. I enjoy red beans, but the red beans here werent my cup of tea, but it wasnt bad. Another thing to note, the serving sizes are Texas sized lol. I got a regular and it was a bit much.

Korean shaved ice, its not bad if you need to get a quick dessert fix. They ran out of ice cream though, so that was a bummer. Who runs out of ice cream for their desserts in the middle of the day? So what we did order was good. Its also a weeeeee bit on the expensive side as well. But give them a try, hopefully they will have more ice cream on hand so their shaved ice can be served as advertised.

This review is based solely on my experience and opinion:We went to the Snowy Village few nights ago (7/9/21) and it was me my wife and my mother in Low.FOOD: what you seen on the menu is exactly what you get and in some cases is even better. great presentation indeed. we ordered Cheesecake strawberry and Mango something.... both deserts were extremely sweet, not because of the ice cream on top, but because of the tons of syrups they pour on it. flavours were there but way too much sugar.STAFF: very friendly and positive attitude. They say excuse me, Im sorry and Thank you all the time. They smile and help you with the Menu. they clean your spot before you sit down or take it.PLACE/LOCATION: the place is poorly furnished, bare minimum, looks more like a garage than a restaurant. few tables and few chairs, not even enough for the tables. They tried to paint and draw stuff on the walls, but it still looks cheap and unfinished. very, very chaotic, you struggle listening to one another. There is no traffic management so you litterally sit next to people waiting in line and very often they hit you or your chair (involuntarily, of course) untill you move to a better located table. The wall tables are just too narrow to eat on and you are squeezed next to each other with other customers. The feeling is get your Dessert and go eat it somewhere else. From the place perspective there is no positive experience at all. A couple next to us had to leave due to the very noisy and unorganaized crowd standing in line.Something else I did not like at all, was the random videos and photos that they take behind your knowledge. I found myself in photo published on their social media pages and I never agreed to that. At the entrance there is no disclaimer and nobody asks your permission to take and post photos and videos of you. Big privacy issue! (main reason for the 2 stars review).
