Ive been taking my father to this center for 3 years now and its a great place to be for hearing care services. Dr. Vallejo has been taking care of my father exceptionally well thru out the years. Im highly recommend this center to anyone who needs hearing aid services.

I love this place. Sarah is so profession, yet personable. She tries so hard to give her patients the best hearing experience possible. This place was absolutely perfect. I am a new patient and I needed to get my ears checked. I’ve had challenges with my hearing many years and I was finally ready to get hearing aids. My experience was more than I expected. When I called to request an appointment the lady at the front desk made it so seamless from her politeness, to being extremely helpful and positive, and most of all explained their process and went out of her way to help me with an appointment the same day, and she verified my insurance same day as well. Moving on to the doctor she was professional, polite, excellent listener, I was not rushed out at all, the doctor took the time to hear all my concerns related to my hearing, she also asked questions to understand my hearing loss. The doctor also explained each process that was taking place. I walked out with my new hearing aid. I was more than 100% satisfied. Yes! Yes! I recommend. You will not regret it!

I took Mom to the Center for Audiology and we had a great experience! Dr. Nagel did a very thorough examination and testing. She was very kind and explained the results so Mom and I understood them well. The hearing aid fitting was such a pleasant experience too. Dr. Nagel was so patient while we tried different ones and then patiently teaching us how to use them. The whole office staff was so friendly and lovely to deal with. They were very understanding about our Covid concerns. We did not wait in a waiting room. We went straight to a room that was very clean. Dr. Nagel wore a mask and maintained distance as much as possible. We had been so nervous about the appointment, but in the end it was really just a wonderful experience. Best of all, Mom can hear now! She only now realizes how much she was missing. She is so grateful to Dr. Nagel for giving her back great hearing! 😄 Thank you so much for everything!!

I went in for a hearing screening because I have tinnitus in both ears. The staff was super helpful and explained everything to me. I had wax in one ear close to my eardrum and the doctor removed it for me which was a great relief. I would recommend them for your hearing needs. Luckily I didnt have much hearing loss and I chose not to go with hearing aids at this time.

Need solid ear impressions done for custom headphones? Then look no further. I needed some made and the doc was well versed in what was needed. Told her which brand and was like oh yea, I know exactly what you need. Was in and out in no time and for a pretty solid price. You will be hard pressed to find better audiology services in Houston.

I really had a great experience with them. I have been to other audiologists, but their service and solutions to my hearing problem was far better. For example, in order to hear the TV I had to have the volume at 60 (out of 100). With their solution, I have it set at 15, the same setting my wife normally uses...and believe me, she is just as happy as I am.

Dr. Sarah Nagel and her associates are very thorough in their testing and very gracious in their interacting. They are the place to go for top-of- the-line hearing aides. It is a pleasure to understand conversations on the phone and in-person and to watch TV without closed captions. Good hearing is essential to cognitive development.

Christina Vallejo was such a delight!! She really knew her stuff! she made my mother feel comfortable, she did a complete and very thorough analysis of her hearing, add to calendar on the proper care and treatment of her ears, recommended a hearing aid no. My mom really enjoyed being there.

Very professional. Expeditious and comprehensive. Explanation of diagnostics was succinct and understandable. Was a bit apprehensive about the whole process, but the Audiologist Cristina Vallejo, was very helpful throughout the visit. Recommendations were well presented and demonstration of the technology provided the necessary ability to work with the technology and aids. I was very pleasantly surprised how everything that needed to be done was done in the single visit since time is difficult to come by for a repetitive process. I received a demo pair of appliances to use to make sure I feel comfortable with the aids. Could not be more satisfied. I live in a rural area about 2 hours North of Houston, so I had so many options available to me, like Waco, Bryan/College Station, Palestine. etc. I chose The Center for Audiology because of the great reviews on Yelp and Yahoo and Im so glad I did. Christina is absolutely amazing! She cares about her work, she truly likes making a difference in peoples lives, and shes great at what she does. Shes patient, kind, funny, happy, and so not pushy. The Center for Audiology has the best technology, I have been to other Audiologists before, and the difference is just night and day. I knew already that I needed hearing aids, so that was no surprise to me at all. But Christina works with you very patiently to explain the options of her recommendations based on what your needs are. Shes very knowledgeable about the products that she sells, and she is not trying to sell one brand over another....she truly wants the best option for you regardless of what brand you decide on. I just couldnt be any happier, and Im excited about getting my new hearing aids.And after talking with Christina, I am positive that the service after the sale is just important to them as it is to me. After all, there will be many questions Im sure after the hearing aids come in and Im certain that The Center for Audiology will be more than happy to answer any questions that I will have later down the road. They are a great place to get your hearing tested and hearing aids. Cristina Vallejo is very patient and takes her time making sure she gets you the perfect fit. I was so pleased with my results that I took my 88 year old mother to see her. What a HUGE difference mom had with her new hearing aids vs. Miracle Ear. No comparison! I highly recommend!

When you go for a hearing test, what is it you want? What I want is competent staff that answers the phone and arranges the appointment, excellent staff that provides the hearing test, excellent staff that explains the issues and answers questions in a way that is understandable and competent billing. My two encounters with both the front of the office (Melanie) and hearing professional Dr. Cristina Vallejo not only met but exceeded encounters with others in this business and my own expectations. Rather than go into a very long review, I will hit what I see as unique to Dr. Vallejo. We had 2 different visits. The first was for my 90 year old mother with the second visit being for both my mother and myself. Dr. Vallejo’s uniqueness and excellence can be summarized as follows … attention to detail while administering the hearing test — what I mean by this is she noticed that my mother was leaning toward the ear being tested at certain times which signaled to Dr. Vallejo that my mother thought she heard the sound but was not sure enough to press the button, so Dr. Vallejo would remind my mother to press the button even if she thought she heard the signal. And, then Dr. Vallejo would retest those sounds. At other testing businesses, the audiologist would hit a button and let the computer do the test. That is not what Dr. Vallejo did … she ran the test manually and retested the same sound/frequency/loudness multiple times to ensure a better result. Dr. Vallejo also made the time to explain what was being tested and explaining that it would be frustrating to struggle with the test … and then, when she saw my mother getting frustrated, Dr. Vallejo acknowledge what was happening and offered encouragement. While this was very empathic, it also lead to a better hearing test. The final piece was this office has a piece of equipment that tests how the hearing aids work within your ears so that your hearing aid settings are based on your hearing with your hearing aids based on your ear canal shape. This is different as the majority of places set your hearing aids based on the hearing test which are usually different than what you actually hear once the hearing aids are in your ears. My personal hearing tests and experience were not any different that what I observed with my mother. I highly recommend this office and Dr. Cristina Vallejo.

I continue to be impressed with the professionalism of this practice. Dr. Nagel is thorough in her examination and is clear in her explanation of what to expect. My most recent adjustment was useful in managing background noise. Her staff is helpful and responsive. Time in the waiting room is minimal. My wife is also quite pleased with my hearing aids.

Wonderfully professional and efficient operation which appears to my unprofessional eye to be much better equipped than other similar operations I have experienced. The testing equipment is very advanced and the test results were very well demonstrated and understandable. And the people are professional, courteous and friendly. I dont normally recommend places but I do so wholeheartedly here.

I am absolutely THRILLED with my new hearing aids. I had been wearing some older ones and Sara told me about the new ReSound. They are crisp and clear. I’m wearing them on a test basis right now but so far I adore them. They also connect to my phone clearly.

Excellent service; I had a great experience here! Cristina Vallejo is the best audiologist in Houston! She is incredibly patient, knowledgeable, and experienced. I ought to know, since I have been to several other audiologists and none of them fit me with a hearing aid that I could stand. I now have the Phonak with rechargeable batteries that stays in my ears from early morning to late evening. No hearing aid I ever wore was tolerable all day long. Not only that, but it is incredibly low maintenance. Dr. Christina doesnt just hand you the hearing aid, but shows you how to insert it properly. It is hard to believe, but no audiologist ever took the time to do that! She cares about all aspects of hearing and sincerely wants you to hear better!

I have had my aids one week. I am deaf in my left ear. I had hearing aids about 15 years ago.I am impressed by Dr. Bagel. She was thorough, efficient and pleasant. I walked out happy that I could take the aids and try them for 30 days.She asked me to come back in a week so that she could answer any questions. She did not need to make any adjustments to my aids.I highly recommend Dr. Nagel and the Center for Audiology.
