I went in for a service on a Hyundai lease. While I was there I was approached to see if I had any interest in trading in my car. I actually did have a different need for a larger vehicle, but thought I was stuck in a bad lease deal I had taken from a different dealer. To my surprise Sam and Neal offered enough for the lease to buy it out and had a perfect vehicle to meet my new need above and beyond what I would have found for myself. I wasnt planning on buying a new/different vehicle that day, but am blessed to have done so. I would recommend this dealership if you are in the market for a new or used vehicle. Great job guys!
I had such a great experience with Hub Hyundai. I was able to make a same day appointment for my oil change and a car inspection and had really bad brakes that needed to be done ASAP. They went over and beyond with their services and made sure I was able to go home that evening safely! Paul was a excellent help with updates and information in my car services. Anthony is the best mechanic I have ever met and made sure I replaced both break pads and rotors. So happy with my services and definitely will be coming back for all my cars needs! I highly recommend this place to everyone!
Im surprised I got a text to leave this review since I called HUB and warned them I was going to leave a bad review. The experience began when my Santa Fe engine blew, but not part of the recall of very similar engines. Hyundai agreed to replace and Jesus, one of the service managers, was very helpful. After 5 months the car was ready due to parts delays. We were told there were several things wrong with the car that should be fixed including the AC compressor. We took the car home and I checked it and it had zero charge. I vacuumed and charged it and it worked great. It was particularly disappointing because they said they had carefully diagnosed it specifically saying they had charged the system and the compressor was not engaging. It is possible they tried or made a mistake but frankly unlikely. Finally I gave them fair warning before leaving this review and they said theyd call back. No one ever did. Thank you Hyundai for replacing the engine. For service, Id consider elsewhere than HUB Hyundai.
My son motor locked up on his Hyundai it was under recall so the block was replaced free. But the day they called to pic the car up they ask if he wanted to do a few extra things like replacing the drive belt and wanted to charge for that labor they had to put the old belt on in the first place but now wanted to charge extra labor to install a new belt I can see charge for the belt but not labor!! Then they wonder why people don’t use dealers other than warranty. And the price of the belt was 3 times that of aftermarket
I asked my mechanic to change my engine air filter before I brought them my car for a recall, which he did. Still, they had the nerve to suggest it needed to be changed (a brand new filter!). I had to go back to have the recall taken care of another day since they had to order the parts. Due to them trying to just sell parts and labor for the pleasure of it, I asked the Service representative to please install the the $4 brake pedal cushion replacement on my car as a courtesy. IMO thats the least they can do for trying to play a customer for a fool! Well they had magically deleted the engine air filter replacement suggestion from my service profile and wanted $80 to replace that little $4 plastic part. Ridiculous.If you need to have your Hyundai serviced just go to another dealership. Im attaching a picture of the estimate they initially gave me. 👎🏼

I enjoyed my first visit to the service center Saturday!! Not only was the service fast, but I was in and out with an hour!! A bonus to my visit was an unexpected car wash!! It wasnt like the best car wash but I appreciate the complimentary service. I am frugal in all my finances so to know I have a coupon to use with my next visit really impressed me!! I know I love Hyundai, but now I love this service center just as much.

Dealership charged me $150 for diagnostic engine light. They were unable to diagnose issue of ECM malfunction. I requested a refund of diagnostic fee and to date have not received a response from their service manager George Sanchez. I have purchased 5 new cars in the last 10 years from HUB HYUNDAI 290. Poor service all around from their SERVICE DEPT.
Towed my 2015 Sonata to the dealership after breaking down on the highway. During diagnostic test drive by technician, the engine seized. I had read about numerous problems with the 2015 Sonata engine, a class action lawsuit and other issues. Hyundai made it right. Extended the warranty due to known issues and covered the replacement of my engine. Got my car back in 10 days with no out of pocket cost to me, and so far, seems to be running fine. Hub Hyundai service department communicated with me through every step in the process. I was skeptical about how this catastrophic engine failure would be handled, but Hub Hyundai made me a believer! Glad I brought it to them and that they handled it to my utmost satisfaction. Thank you, Hub Hyundai! I love my Sonata and hope to keep my car on the road for another five years! You’ve earned five stars from this very satisfied customer!
I had a major repair that needed to be done on my car. I saw the reviews and knew this was the dealership for me. They did not disappoint. My service was done as quick as possible and my car is now back up and running well. I am very pleased with the service I received.
Had to use their service department for a battery issue and they couldnt have been more helpful. My car is under warranty still, so they replaced my battery for free, took care of two minor recall issues, washed it, and got me a Lyft to and from work...all for free. I didnt even buy the car from this dealership! Great people here.

Worst service experience of my life.I took the car in for service on Friday afternoon before the long weekend. After waiting 3 hours for an oil change and multi point inspection, I paid and drove home. I stopped to grab food on the way and when I got back to my car, it wouldnt start. Dead battery.Isnt this something that the team should have checked during the multi point inspection?Also, there was no transparency whatsoever. When I got my car serviced at Hyundai in a different state, they always gave a full inspection report so I could review everything. Here, Paul said it needs brakes. But not right now. And that was it. The only paper I got was a receipt.It was seriously incredibly unprofessional and there was zero transparency.
I am totally sold on the entire team at HUB Hyundai 290/Northwest Freeway. I called ahead & asked the nice receptionist, Josh, if they had a 2021 base model Hyundai ‘Kano’ for sale. Josh checked their inventory, confirmed they had it in stock, and advised me to stop by asap because the ‘Kano’ sells fast! Hyundai Kano is rated highly by Consumer’s Report. So, I arrived right away; the salesman was honest; and, i bought my 2021 base model Kano in less than two hours after i arrived! I took my 2014 Sonata for service after the motor stopped running. I talked with Paul from the service department and immediately notified me that the car had a recall about that issue. They, promptly ordered a new motor and replaced it. No fees or charges of any kind. Paul was incredibly professional and helpful.Great experience!

I wish I could give the service team here zero stars. Theyre not at all helpful and have happily sent us back on the road multiple times with an unsafe vehicle and not a care in the world about our safety or fixing the problem.

This is the worlds worst Hyundai dealership, if I could give no stars I would!! No one should go here, ever. They had my car for A MONTH and couldn’t even do an oils change in the car and returned it dirty. They work out of a trailer, and they have terrible customer service. If you want to get stuff done with the best customer service, in a timely manner, and done right go to Grant Firestone!! They are amazing, they even threw in an oils change for free!
Service was on time and quick, they even fixed a recall on my car that another dealer service kept telling me we don’t have the item and promised to call back but they never did, so Hub Hyundai fixed it immediately and it was my first service with them. They also washed my car.

Had to have my car towed to this facility about a year ago due to my engine going out. Luckily they were able to replace it under warranty since a law suit stands with engine issues. My car was here 14 days I wasnt given a rental for any of the day nor was I refunded for having to get one like they said. To top it off I was about 7 months pregnant at the time with a toddler as well. Upon picking up my vehicle I notice someone had sprayed Im guessing soda all over the ceiling if my car. There was dirty coffee cups in my cup holders. Someone had left my window down resulting in a rat coming in and eating my seat and seat belts. Before even leaving the parking lot I brought the manager out to look and he took pictures. He then told me it was my fault and he couldnt help. After leaving and threatening to sue they agreed to fix my rat eaten seatbelt MY TODDLER USES. It amazing they take responsibility for a rat eating my seatbelt but not the back seat. Lovely how they treat people especially someone who is pregnant. They took full advantage of me. I would highly recommend to never use them for any business.
I came back to Hub because of Carlos. He has a warm and inviting personality. My dealings were quick in getting my car settled which was awesome. The only 2 misses were that nobody really told me much about the car and it’s features and the financial part was misleading. I was given a quote and then they changed the final offer. All in all it was a fine experience and would recommend Carlos.
I loved Hub Hyundai 290! I test drove a car on Monday. Was not hounded by email, calls or text. Took my car in to be appraised on Friday and drove out with my new Santa Fe 2.5 hours later, with a payment less than what I had on my other car. It was the quickest and easiest car purchase I’ve ever made. Lianeth Soto was an awesome sales person and Sam Zayid was so easy to work with and funny too. It was a wonderful and pleasant experience! It costs to $2000 to fix all 4s tires from Jesus s estimation.Last time was windows cannot row up! So all windows cannot row up and down now. It cost $2000 to fix all 4!This s Real owner consumer, not someone try to discredit huyndai!Dont even drive close to ... Hyundai.
As tough as I was on my salesman Mario and his manager they made me a deal I couldn’t pass up. Coming from the Sales industry myself and selling cars in the past it was good to see that this dealership doesn’t fall under the same stereotypical ways of what everyone believes a dealership to be. If you are looking for excellent customer service, quick and easy interaction with everyone including the finance office this is the place to go. Besides having a great product, they also have a great dealership that any employee can be proud of, and as a customer can be happy to do business with. Will recommend to everyone!
I brought my car in last week to be serviced (oil change) and I was under the impression that they check the fluids under the hood and top them off as needed, however they definitely didnt. Im glad I noticed before that my coolant level was below the L in the reservoir, I made a point to check after getting my car serviced and they definitely didnt touch the coolant level. Not too pleased about that, however I happen to have some at home so I was able to take care of it on my own. I havent even checked my other fluids yet :/

My Santa Fe was at Hub Hyundai of Houston for service. After the service, my car was returned to me with muddy watery liquid on the drivers side (feet area). It was raining so I assume the technicians shoes were muddy.Also I found pebbles stuck in my tires. They have an area where there are many pebbles and it gets muddy over there. It is in the back side of the building. They had parked my car in the muddy area with pebbles. My car was returned to me filthy dirty. 😒🙄
Made the car buying experience a breeze.Now that the sale has been made more than a year ago, the question is what is the service like? I have nothing but prizes for the service staff at hub Hyundai, they have treated me with respect and made my service experience one that I will always remember in a positive fashion. I’d really like the valet service they offer. I called them make an appointment they pick up my car take it in to service and then return it washed and vacuumed. Can’t ask for anything better. I highly recommend Hub Hyundai whether you’re shopping for a new car or need service. It’s your one stop automotive shop.

My 2016 Sonata has been at the service department since the 23rd of last month. It is quite possible that I won’t be getting it back until some time in August. I depend on my vehicle as it is my only means of transportation for myself and my family. They refuse to offer me any type of loaner or to pay for a rental. I am a paying customer and this has just been a nightmare. They have literally left me high and dry. Not only that but I have had an overall terrible experience dealing with Luis, the manager in the service department. He is extremely unprofessional and has terrible customer service. Wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone even if it was the last dealership in Houston. They do a horrible job at representing Hyundai.

The service advisor gave me an estimated time for the the repair but it was done much faster. I look forward bringing my car for service at this location.

Received notice about a Recall. Called Hub Hyundai to set up an appointment. 2 weeks out. Drop off car at 10. Hub calls me at 1 to say they do NOT have part for recall. How is that possible? Told to come get my car. Takes me an hour to get to Hub. Car is not ready. How is that possible? Wait an extra 30 minutes in HOT sun for my car. Drive home having wasted a Friday.Hub = horrible underperforming business!
I have had Honda Civics in the past but decided to give Hyundai’s warranty a try. These people are so friendly and family like in approach. There was no pressure on me despite that I was asking for a lot from a dealership. I got a great rate, great service, and a beautiful Accent from this tiny certified dealership on the 290 feeder. About 3 weeks ago I took my car with 38000 miles on it at this dealership for 3 recalls pending at service Dept, ordered parts fir, took around 2, for, months get those in, they have horrible customer service, no body call me for up dates. I had call my self every 2 weeks to find out whats going on, and the girl was rude all times because I always says why Im no getting up dates,she hang on me 2 times., also they ran an full inspection on it and recommend me get front brake pads replaced For $608.00 (kind pricy) finally recall repairs got done Sept 9/2021, then I decide get 2nd opion on Brakess repair, and then find out they Dont even cked rearones, think twice to used them also this brand name .
Beware of Bait and switch sales tactics! I contacted the salesperson inquiring about a Santa Fe that was in-stock online. He confirmed it was available and sent photos of the vehicle on the lot . He also confirmed the price that matched the website. I arrived and loved the vehicle. When he sat me down at the table, The price was $4,000 more than shown online and by phone. They would not honor pricing, so Hub Hyundai lost my business.
Paul in service was wonderful. Not only did he make my appointment, he met me the next day and kept me up to date on my car. Hub and Paul are simply the best!
Scheduled an appointment over a week in advance to get the oil changed and have a recall performed on my Genesis Sedan. Dropped car off today at 8:15. Sent a text at 3:45 to get a status update (no response). Call at 4:15 and am told the car is in and it will be ready in 45 mins - an hour, but the recall parts are on back order. Drive up there to beat traffic and drop my wife off. She gets back home at 5:15 and said they didnt charge her? I hadnt paid.. So I check the oil and it looks like it hasnt been changed. Call in and sure enough they had the car almost 9 hours and couldnt complete a simple oil change and WASTED two drives to the dealership in the process. This dealership has been, still is, and always will be a joke. I left a message for the GM to call me but there is no point. Wouldnt take my car back there if they were offering free service!
The service men was great! Met with a friendly greeting and directed where to go. A very nice waiting area while you wait. Communication through out. I rate as world class service!
It is amazing how quickly a business forgets to maintain a good rapport with a client after getting their money. Write an email to the salesperson asking for when your license plates are coming in (since the paper plate is past due by 14 days already) and the email goes unanswered. Heck, you even give them an out by stating they can forward your email to the person responsible for this plate exchange and it dies an emails death. When you phone and actually speak to someone in service, they are cordial, take all your info, even repeat your email address then state that they will get someone to send you new paper plates the following day to your email address. Lets take a vote. Who thinks it was sent?! Youd be wrong if you said it was. We have 3 Hyundai vehicles from this dealership though over the years their quality of service has sunk. We will be moving on the another maker as each car is to be replaced. Lesson learned.

I wish they would separate the service dept from the sales dept because all the 4-5 stars are for the sales dept. The service dept are the worst I have ever dealt with. DONT GO THERE! Mr. Luis refused to honor Hyudais 8 year/80,000 mile warranty even thought we talked to Hyundai and they confirmed it was under warranty. He wanted $150 to check to see if it might be under warranty even though Hyundai had already confirmed it! His manager George texted me that if I had any issues to contact him so I did. I explained the above and he stated that no matter the question the answer is still the same. We called Humble Hyundai and they immediately said it was under warranty and we took it there and they changed the part. Go see Chris at Humble Hyunda, they know what customer service is!
Service personnel very attentive and personable, and gave detailed explanations as to what was needed and why. Costs reasonable. Services completed within estimated timeframe. All issues addressed to my satisfaction.
Set an appointment for routine maintenance on my pre-owned Sonata on a Saturday at 8 AM to be sure to miss the rush, and that I did! Check-in was smooth and that hour flew by! Thankful for the Service Team at Hub Hyundai for their speedy and effective efforts to get my car worked on and cleaned within an hour’s time!
Attempted to purchase a vehicle online. Listed price was MSRP, which I understood due to the current inventory issues. I accepted the online price and finished the required documentation. No one got back with me that evening to confirm the sale even though they were still open for the day. The next morning, I waited till 12 p.m. and still no one had gotten back with me. I called and spoke to someone, who stated the sale would be finalized. Sure enough, I received a message 30 minutes later for my final approval, for $2,000 more than MSRP. I called and was bluntly informed by a sales manager: That was yesterday, today its $2,000 above MSRP. For a Hyundai Elantra, by the way. No thanks guys, I will find another dealership that does not try to take advantage of its customers. I recommend to anyone reading this not to do business with this unethical company.
I have had 4 Hyundai cars over the past 15 years, and I love the brand. 3 of those have been serviced at Hub, and 2 were actually purchased there. The service experience is always amazing. They always take care of exactly what needs to be done, and keep great records for me. Works out for the warranty service as well. My new Palisade is awesome, and I cant think of any other place to have my service done.

My son was looking for his first car purchase. We were referred to Claude Alexander at Hub Hyundai Houston and was assured hed make the deal work. He did ABSOLUTELY POSITIVELY NOTHING! No communication unless we reached out. And even then it was short. We were advised to come to the dealership to TEST DRIVE meaning get in a car and drive it. We got there and no one knew what we were talking about and the sales manager said it would be wrong to allow him to test drive and not get that car until the bank approved him. I advised her that Claude told us to come here to test drive and she wasnt hearing it. Guess she didnt want to be bothered. We did the pre approval application online on last Saturday, April 3rd. We wasted time to simply drop off some check stubs. I couldve emailed him that. This was a HORRIBLE customer service experience for my son as a first time car buyer! I wish I could give no stars or negative! I wouldnt refer anyone here.

I bought my very first car from Hyundai, I fell in love with the 2020 Sonata. Turned out to be the biggest mistake ever!!!! My air bag light keeps coming on. I have had service on my car 5 times now each time not having my car for 4 - 5 days due to trying to fix the issue. Each time they would only fix the problem for a few day then the light would come right back on. This is such a hassle. I am a single mom that works a full time job, I CANT AFFORD TO KEEP CALLING OUT OF WORK JUST FOR THEM TO TAKE MY CAR FOR A FEW DAYS AND NOT FIX THE PROBLEM! This is the worst car buying experience. Save yourself the hassle and buy some where else.
A plastic piece broke on the license plate light on my ‘22 Tucson, causing the light to just dangle now. I went on a Sunday and was told the part would be in on Tuesday or Thursday. I also got a text that said I could text for any questions about my pending service. I sent a text on Thursday to try to find out if I could have my car fixed that day. I never received a response, but I did get a text on Friday asking me to rate my service. My light is still dangling.

Brought a car from them last month and about 3 weeks later started having all kinds of problems with vehicle. One thing after another things started happening with the vehicle. The car is stalled out right now had to leave it at work. Cars are no good.
Although it was a little hard trying to figure out where to go once you got to Hyundai of Houston, the service and quickness to get my cars recall taken care of was great! They even washed my car before they gave it back to me.

I called Hyundai GDI Manufacture & told them about my 2015 sonata & they said it under warranty and has recall as well so they gave me a case number and told me to take it to nearest Hyundai dealership to fix it and provide the case number to them and they will take care of it, I went to the service department and spoke to that guy his name is Luis machado and he came with bad excuses first he said it not a personal car and then I told him it’s my car and the he said oh we can’t touch it because has salvage title I told him I already told Hyundai Manufacture all that and they said doesn’t matter the engine is under warranty!! On ends Luis and his co worker said we have to send the report to the manufacturer and to do that you have to pay fee which’s $700 or you pay $5k for engine then I said ok I’ll take back I’ll send a town truck tomorrow and was Yelling at me saying no you need to take it now!! And I told him your co worker said okay to move it tomorrow and then his co worker came up to me yelling as well and said no I changed my mind you need take now! That place is very bad! Customer service is horrible! I called Hyundai manufacturer again and they said they should’ve done that to you and did report them and I’ll keep calling and report Luis and his bad customer service he was making things from his head just to make me pay $700 to send an email to the manufacturer otherwise I have to pay to replace the engine! ( trust me guys don’t ever go this place! specifically to Luis he has very bad attitude!
UPDATE: John Lowe internet manager asked me below that I contact him. Emailed him a week ago and again no response!Bought a used car. Service was excellent. They delivered the car to my house. They wouldve gotten 5 stars easy. However, engine light came on few days after I bought it and didnt even put 100 miles on it! I called n left a msge for them. No response! So Im stuck with repairs few days after purchase! I understand its used and sold as is but to get check engine light after days and no accountability is a bit too much!

Purchased a 2021 Genesis GV80 from Hub Hyundai of Houston . Everything as setup in advance. I was greeted on my arrival talked to awhile and a young man called me Mr Sandles and said he was with financing. We took care our business it was the best auto purchase I ever made and mama is real happy thanks HUB.
Was referred to Hub Hyundai by the Sam’s Club auto buying program. They refused to do a remote transaction and delivery per the Sam’s Club program.They wouldn’t even hold a car with deposit. It is first come, first served.When I went in, the knew I was in a time crunch due to their policy.The sales folks did ok, but finance took advantage of the situation and pushed a finance rate two points higher than any commercial bank. The finance guy should not be trusted. Have your own financing lined up before visiting this dealership.

Paul was my contact person while my car was being serviced. He was very polite and courteous. He advised me of the required repairs(a bad a/c compressor) and made sure that they were completed in a timely fashion. It was finished sooner than I anticipated being a holiday weekend (Easter). The service department was very efficient. They were very helpful and answered all my questions. The service on my car was quick and without any problems. When I went to pick up my car, it was ready to go.

Another 5 star review for Hub.My appointment was for 1 oclock Tuesday. I arrived on time and they immediately took my car into the shop. One hour later they brought me my car ready to go. In that time it received an oil change, state inspection, multi point check and was washed.I have come to expect 5 star service and always get it at Hub.Thanks
