This is the first time I have used this service facility. Very clean and nice. The Director is outstanding and very knowledgeable. Class act. The Porter that greeted me and sent me off is an amazing asset. I think I have found a service home. I did not meet my advisor, but authorizing repairs was effortless. I will be back.
I went in to buy a used car. The salesman I worked with was great. He worked really hard to make sure the car was made ready to drive out. He handed me off to a finance guy, who immediately seemed to take an attitude with me before I even stepped in his office. The only reason I can come up with, I was going to use my credit union, which would not make him any money. I didn’t even really haggle over the price, so you would think all would be smiles that they were making a sale. Each point in the process is critical that it’s truly about the customer, particularly with the amount of money the customer is about to spend. I also had pointed out how I needed to get back to my job, since I had already spent a couple of hours at the dealership looking the car over for a second time and with the salesman as he went through gathering his paperwork. The finance guy did not like that. His response should have been that they can handle much of the work over phone and email to get any paperwork together for the credit union. In today’s world where it’s possible to buy a car completely over the internet, these car dealerships should really think about how much time a customer has to spend at the dealership in person and minimize it as much as possible, particularly when it’s already clear they are going to sell the car.
Today I definitely experienced poor customer service! I was not pleased with my service agent, the cashier, or the price I initially was asked to pay (which was incorrect). I also had to ask and wait for my multi point inspection form when it’s supposed to be automatically provided to me.
Do not got here for service! I went in for a routine oil change service and I received an email of items that needed immediate attention. I completed 2/6 services. After I picked up my car on Saturday, about 1 mile into the drive my steering wheel locked up then a big boom occurred and shards of plastic were flying behind my car. My car was operating correctly until this service. I called the dealership immediately and spoke with Camila who said they cannot look at it until Monday. The manager Desiree Abbott and associate Dillon were informed of the situation. Dillon called me Monday morning telling me to drop it off and he will put a rush on it to do everything they can to fix it. I dropped it off Monday morning. Monday afternoon, Dillon called expressing the technician working on my car determined it was due to an accident. I said I was not in an accident, then he said it was a large object, but I did not hit a large object. He said the damage reflects that. I spoke with the GSM Juan who explained to me that an object hit my car. I again told him I did not hit an object and asked how they can diagnose that the damage they are claiming was from an object was current and not previous damage from an object and he just kept pointing at the pictures they took that day. I spoke with Craig the service drive manager and asked for the photos from my services on Friday to compare and they had none. In March I went to the same dealership to assess damage from a curb, which I requested documentation from to compare the damage from then to now, again, Craig said the dealership had no photos from this assessment to compare. If the standard operating procedure is to take pictures of the procedures completed why were none taken prior to now? This team was negligent on the service of my car, leading to further damage that I requested they fix and they refused. Also, the same diagnosis from the same dealership in March was $776.57 different from the quote today. The customer service is beyond disappointing, please do no waste your time.
Sal, my finance guy was great. JR the sales manager not so much. I picked up my truck after 4 days and since it was raining I took Jrs word that every thing was done. It was not. I payed over 300 for tint that I was told it was re-done (it was not) also the wheel locks I was told the old ones were cut off and the new ones installed (nope) only one was removed the new ones in glove box. I payed out of pocket to get the locks cut off and JR wouldnt return my call. Dont ever take their word for it . Make sure EVERYTHING is taken care of before you sign papers. I do however recommend using Sal in financing.
It was a very comforable with the people staying their distance employerssanitizing the seats and doors, every one keeping their mask on, emplouersgreeting you before you get out of the car, and it didnt take as long as ithought it wood they were great not only the guy who was helping mebut, the whole staff.THANKS, MCCALL HYULNDAISOUTH LOOP YOU GOTMY BUSSINESS

We went in at about 6:30 to take a look at the 2022 interiors of the Tucsons, Monday. We walked into the dealership and not one person greeted us. There was one lady sitting at her desk looking down at her phone the whole time. Another two were looking at something on the computer. Another person with a Hyundai shirt walked past us at the door with a drill in hand. No one said anything! We walked back out… saw ourselves to the 2 of the 14 I thought they had on the lot. One was unlocked so we helped ourselves to look inside. We walked back into the dealership and still NOTHING!! I mean I appreciate not having over aggressive sales people but this was the complete opposite of the spectrum.We ended up giving a business card to the salesman that looked like he was helping 3 people at the same time since we were circling the lot. Giving keys to one family, giving another guy a test drive and showing another person what looked like to be their new car. Unfortunately, we still haven’t gotten a call back. Maybe yesterday was his day off. I don’t even know if he was a salesman but he looked to be the only person getting something done and didn’t mind him giving him our business.
Dillon was great! He was super helpful and nice while taking care of my vehicle. This is the second time I go to this dealership with Dillon as my advisor and once again he was amazing! This is why next time I will come back here again. Thank you!
Sam was professional and easy to work with. He made me aware of a vehicle that I thought I couldnt afford when the first one I called about wasnt available. The transaction was smooth and they didnt waste my time. The follow up has been good and I recommend South Loop Hyundai. Not all Sterling McCall dealers are the same, but Toyota and Hyundai have been very positive experiences.
Excellent customer service and provided the exact service I needed for my vehicle. And they provided a courtesy ride when I dropped off my vehicle and I got a complimentary carwash... a win!

I bought my Sonata from another Hyundai dealership and been going there for the past 4 years. But as time went by, I could see a rapid decline in the service and the carelessness of the technicians. Being a dealership, I should be able to trust them more, compared to the other local auto service places. But that wasnt the case and I stopped going there.I was introduced to Sterling McCall Hyundai South loop by my client, Dillon, as well as my Hyundai service advisor. Its been a great experience since then! Based on my previous service experiences, I almost lost my faith in Hyundai cars. But Sterling McCall restored it by treating me and my car with attention to details, patience, clarity, customer service, concierge services, and much more during this pandemic!It was easy to schedule my service through their website and was always updated via text while we were waiting. Stephen did a great job taking good care of me as well as the car! Ill surely continue my services here since there is good value for the money I pay, instead of just popcorn or coffee at the other dealership!
I would give zero stars if I could. I scheduled an appointment over a week ago for a 7:30 am today, Saturday 10/16. In the notes I specified my engine light had come on (its been on and off for a week and a half now), I most likely would need new rear brakes, and to look at the open recalls that Ive received communication over. Well, as I walked in at 7:25 to check in, I was nonchalantly informed that they were 3+ days out for diagnostics and would need to keep my car until sometime next week. This is NOT possible as I am a teacher and it is my only vehicle. Then I asked about my brakes, to which she replied some machine is down, so they wouldnt be able to do that, either. I then asked what they COULD do--she explained a state inspection. I asked, So you can basically do nothing? Yes, was the response I received, then I was asked if I would like to reschedule. I explained that I was upset because I drove nearly 40 miles one way to go to them (its where I bought the car and have had my maintenance done), that Im a teacher and this is my only day to sleep in and I would not be returning, as Ill choose the dealership right down the road from my house.I CANNOT explain how frustrated I am over their lack of communication. A phone call on Thursday evening, or Friday, explaining that they would need to keep my car to run a simple diagnostic check would have been 100% appreciated, as I would have gone to my local dealer instead of wasting my time and gas.The customer service in the Service Department is officially the worst I have ever experienced. Please dont take your car to them.

Zero for customer serviceAfter going there for the 4th time to take care of the recall (first two times sent back due to system issue even after an hour there waiting, second due to water issues and I was not informed that appointments were cancelled) the recall was finally done but the car key fob got deprogrammed and went there with an appointment and I was sent back because there were 16 cars ahead of me and they couldn’t take care of what they damaged! Manager didn’t help. Disappointed.

Everything worked great until it came time to pick up my car . The cashier gave me my keys and told me to go look for my car. If I didn’t find the car then I should come back in and they would help me find the car. So I was running around outside trying to locate where they parked my car. I finally had to come back inside to one of the service techs for them to go find my car.
Overall purchasing my vehicle was here was a good experience. My only dissatisfaction was the fact that Llike many other dealers, they are forcing you to pay their added dealer packages (window tint, wheel locks, nitrogen and some clear coat protection. This package is super inflated (1495 and I was told it went up to 2495) and this package doesnt really add any value to the vehicle, not to mention some of these items came stock from the factory. Given the current market conditions, I was forced to buy this package or loose out on the vehicle because there is very little inventory. Car dealers are sure taking advantage of the consumers, and I do understand they have to make money and that must be challenging given inventory shortage. Unlike other dealers though, this dealer did not ask above MSRP on the vehicle.

Went in and they took care of me and even had a lyft pick me up and take me to my friends to wait there instead at dearlship so that was good. They sent someone to picked me up when my vehicle was ready and also applied a coupon I had on the internet for my oil change.Great customer service with Dillan he was very attentive and communicative.

Bait and switch, bordering on violations of a few consumer protection laws. Ill let the FTC complaint Im filing decide which is which.The one good point Ill give is to the salesman who let me kick the tires and decide if this generation of Sonata was right for me and if it fit my needs. Edward was great and answered all my questions. However, this stores policy on $2,000 worth of mandatory addendums is deceitful and hogwash. I could have easily let that go and moved on to another store (actually, Im moving on to an entirely different brand and auto group) but I received a text the next day from a different rep at the dealer claiming those dealer add-on addendum items ($995 resist-all, $350 tint (already on the car from the factory anyway), $200 wheel locks, $100 for Nitrogen, etc etc were MANDATORY from Hyundai corporate. Dont hide behind this, just call it markup/ADM as one line item and let the buyer decide if they want to pay it.I rang the Hyundai Corporate Care line as well and let them know a shop is claiming these dealer add-on addendums are allegedly corporate policy. Thats clearly misleading buyers. Cant tell if they really cared, but theres the brands buying experience for you. Id avoid.
Came to Sterling McCall Hyundai South Loop after having a bad experience at Ron Carter. Was greeted by Edward M. and had an amazing experience. He didn’t make us feel like we were just another customer. We got straight to the point. No run arounds like other dealerships. Told him exactly what I was looking for and everything came out to be better than I could imagine. He knew everything there was to know about the vehicle I was interested in. I definitely recommend this dealership!
Traded in my truck to get my wife an SUV. Great overall experience. Faron was very knowledgeable. Answered all of our questions. But above all, the transparency was what really made it so nice. I made an appointment only to arrive and the service lady stated that was only to talk to a service advisor. Also I would have to wait 3 hours for my car to be service. Also that they close at 6 and they wouldn’t get to my car until 7. Truly confused and upset me. I bought my car from there in 2015 and service has declined severely since I purchased my car. The young lady said it’s always been this way and I told her no it hasn’t. You make an appointment and the. You’re serviced. She said well 4 others have a 4 pm appointment. I’m truly upset and took off work early to get this done. I call and never get a return call also when I’ve tried to get other appointments. The only reason I go to that dealership is because it’s closer than going to the one on 45 near Galveston.

I had an excellent experience. I called about getting an oil change and an inspection. I went to drop my car off. It was about an hour before close. I had intended to drop off my car but Stephen Counterman, Service Advisor, got my car done in an hour! He made it so that I didn’t have to leave my car and come back the next day. He saved me an hour round trip drive. He was so friendly, helpful, professional and just the best customer service I have had in a long time!Thank you so much for such an outstanding job all around!!!
I don’t submit these reviews often, but their service was so much better than any experience I’ve ever had at a dealer, I felt compelled to take a few minutes out of my day to let others know. First, I cringed at the thought of taking my 8 year old vehicle to be diagnosed. I was certain that everything in the world would suddenly be found wrong with the car and I’d have a huge repair bill to consider. When I saw the call coming in, I thought to myself “here it comes, let’s see how they are going to stick it to me.”Dylan couldn’t have been friendlier. He was thorough in explaining what they examined and my options. Sure, I could have spent $2,500 - $3,000 repairing items that “normally” wear out by now, but he didn’t recommend it. Wait... what? He said, it’s my choice but my car seemed to be operating fine, so no need for a big repair bill. He dialogued with me about the pros and cons and at the end of the conversation instead of a few grand worth of repairs, I only had to spend a couple hundred bucks. The spend I did make was to prevent my tires from wearing unevenly so I could extend the life of them. Thus, there was an ROI on the spend.I am very impressed at this point with the professionalism. But, also the casual acquaintance of it all... as if it were my buddy doing the work for me that I could trust to treat me fairly. So refreshing.Then, I get to the dealer to pick up my car and I forgot to check their hours of operation. They closed over an hour before I arrived. Yikes! But, one of the employees who works in service had not yet left to go home. He dropped what he was doing, opened the service desk, got me checked out and did it all with a smile.This is truly not the experience I expected. They went above and beyond exceeding my expectations at every turn. I’m very impressed and will be a return customer for sure. I hope this review gives you a comfort level that these guys are the place to bring your car for service!

It was my first time there. I was told I needed so much extra stuff after getting 70k mile service with only 63 miles on my vehicle. I asked could they look at records from other Dealer I normally go to because I believe I had some of the work done already. I was told no but I can call. I did, they were busy so drove there so they could tell me. I had 2 of the services they said I needed. I was also told they could look up my records. I won’t be back. Clearly trying to take advantage of people 😡
Recently bought a car and when i say my service advisor guy Stephen C. is awesome Hes very attentive punctual and takes his time with the customer. A few minor things and He was able to get the job done and that right there makes a good sale A great sale.

My complaint receive a rapid response directly by the General Manager, Jesse Valdez and Sales Manager, Johannes Gilds. Johannes kept me up-to-date about the part order and personally checked my Santa Fe in for a white-glove service. He was honest and genuine. Everyone makes mistake but not everyone admits and make corrections. This has been by far my worst customer experience at a service center, ever. I was a first time customer and instead of getting my business they were condescending. To makes matters worse, they left 5 of my rear lug nuts loose and that could have resulted in serious harm to me and my family, fortunately I was able to spot the issue quickly. They also offered services that the car didnt need according to the manual, their excuse was having No history. I would not recommend this place. Stay away.
These guys are the best of the best. This was my first time purchasing a car on my own and the gentlemen I worked with, Sam, Elvis, and Johannes, did not push, though they were very attentive, and were very professional and kind. They worked with my budget and seemed to have my best interest at heart. They also worked together so well - truly a well oiled machine. I 100% recommend purchasing a Hyundai and ONLY buying it from Sterling McCall Hyundai South Loop.
Beautiful! But imma need y’all to adjust the psi of my tires again. I did bring it for a tire rotation and when I got my car back, it went up from 33 psi to 40 psi but Mark promised to fix that so I’m happy but overall, the experience was nice and it’s my first time

Just want to give a shout-out to Armando in the Service dept.I am a female senior citizen who knows nothing about autos. My a/c started blowing hot air and of course, our Houston summer is around the corner.I work down the block so I pulled into the service dept. at 7:00am. A courteous man named Armando not only looked at my car, he added coolant and explained my different options.He spent at least 30 mins with me.-Very professional, and informative.This was clearly an example of service at its BEST.The world needs more Armando s and Sterling McCall is fortunate to have him as an employee.I will definitely recommend this place.High 5 and 5 stars to Armando.

Had an unexpected car issue that had to ne addressed on the same day. It was a few hours before Hyundai Service closed; though my usual attendant was not available that day Mr. Dillon was informed of the concerns and made certain they were addressed. Brake lights no longer stay on and Im aware of whats needed for the tire sensors. There was even enough time for an oil was change and car cleaning before service closed. I was grateful for the service.

Service rep Craig was knowledgeable and kept me updated about the progress of the service required. The service was completed in the time frame I was promised and the car had been cleaned inside and out when I picked it up. The service staff treats customers with respect and are available to answer questions, give updates. I will definitely return for future service needs.

Good experience. Worked with someone online and was able to secure a great deal, went in and with no haggling was ready for financing within an hour. Financing took a while to get us in (had nothing to do with running credit or getting loan because paid cash). Once in it was a breeze, then it took a while longer to finish detailing. 4 hours total. Detail job was average at best. Would have given 5 stars if the process was quicker!

No shame in admitting; I’m a new driver with no prior history of vehicles besides how to crank them up. Needless to say, I required quite a bit of help yesterday during my visits. And Armando was absolutely AMAZING! I didn’t feel pressured, there was no car dealership anxiety, and Armando worked diligently to get my Miracle her (EFI) fuel pump cleaning. He even diagnosed a few other conditions she was in and gave me a complimentary cleaning!I’m headed back up there to get her battery replaced. This is the worst dealership I ever been in I brought my car in because I had a oil leak and I didn’t know where it was coming from they told me I had a open oil filter and oil spots under my car and needed a oil change I thought my car was still under factory warranty I understand the oil change don’t count but still can you have stop m leak in my car they did pay for car ride services free if charge and clean my car that’s why they getting 2 stars for that 2 day later I notice a small little part piece missing from my car by the gear shift I call the manger and he tellin me his guys wouldn’t take nothing out but your guys was inside my car cleaning and I told him did you watch him clean he told me know and it was nothing he can do but tell me to buy another one that’s was rude of him I am not a HAPPY CUSTOMER WILL NOT GO BACK UNLESS THEY GIVE ME BACK RHE PART I WAS MISSING AND I HAVE PICS

In the beginning, everyone was nice. I sat there for two hours just because I wanted to figure out why my ABS light was on.After 3 hours a guy shows up and tells me to fix it it will cost around $3000.I thought thats crazy, is there any way we can fix it cheaper, I asked.He responded not at all.I decided to leave so I went to the register to pay and leave.When the lady provided me with the list of recommended repairs, I saw most of the $3000 cost are unnecessary recommendations while repairing my ABS was going to cost around$1000 only.They were trying to rob me. The guy deliberately lied to me to make me pay $3000.I will not trust these people with anything who knows what else they are called off, replacing your original part with some garbage cheap one? I would say yes they can
I had an amazing experience today at Sterling MCCall Hyundai with the General Manager Craig. I was having a rough day today, but Craig took care of me with excellence and professionalism and even made me smile! I am grateful for employees such as him who really care about their customers and it shows! The Lyft rides to and from the location were extra icing on the cake! Thank you! I had to wait 2 hours for an oil change. I never got a status until I had to ask about my car. I even texted the guy to ask him. But I never got a response. Then when I get my car they don’t vacuum it. Like I was told they were going to do! It wouldn’t have been so bad if I was told how long it was going to be. At least I would’ve known. I didnt even get an apology of some sort for the wait and no communication whatsoever. The customer service sucked today.
The best customer service experience I have ever had. I didn’t even buy my car from here, nor had ever had my care serviced here and they treated me like royalty. Steven was very, kind, courteous and understanding. They even sent a porter to my place to grab a key fob, in order to make sure they troubleshot everything. Upon time to pick up my vehicle, they paid for a Lyft to come pick me up. Class act. I would give more stars if I could.
Dillon was very assistant with keeping other customer updated with their time wait and vehicles. Today he also handled a difficult matter with two other customers very professionally when they were being very belligerent and rude while standing too close to him invading his personal space. These women were very loud and dramatic because they couldn’t afford to pay for the work that was done to the vehicle. Also COMMANDING other employees to get the manager to fix the price and why it was so high going into other offices looking for someone to help them but found no one. In reality these women were to broke to fix what they damaged and the acted like like it was Dillion’s fault that it was so high in price to pay. you can’t afford to fix a car but you have time to get your nails done, get your hair done as well?Alright.There should be no reason why they should be talking and treating working people that way and still expect something in return. Respect those around you and who take care of you.Thank you Dillion and Hyundai for your services.
Just purchased a 2018 Tuscon Limited Ultimate Package, while the salesman Sherman Chenier was great. The dealerships Customer Service Representative Dillion Wesley acts as if he doesnt want to be bothered and the Parts Department Manager definitely let it be known he wasnt there to help or assist in resolving an issue. Id rather drive out of my way to another Hyundai dealership for service than be treated as is my concerns or issues are a nuisance to staff.
I had a wonderful experience with a Sterling McCall Hyundai South Loop. My sales person, Edward, was gracious, kind, easy to deal with, beyond helpful, and went out of his way to make things work for me. Everyone else I came in contact with, from the finance people, to alternate sales people who would fill in when Edward was out test driving a car we’re knowledgeable. I would highly recommend this dealership.

Excellent service, the fees were very reasonable. I felt very good going into to service my suv without feeling like I was going to be taken advantage of since I’m a woman. Good experience overall until I got home and read the contract and realized they did not use my bank for financing. They used some other back I had never heard of. I am not going in to the long drawn out details. Long story short I realized they lied to me about things they could have just told the truth about. Anyone looking for a car with financing from your bank, know the Equity Policy.
Staff was attentive and helpful, and served me quickly. They provided a Lyft ride for me very quickly.My only complaint was that they didnt call when the car was done, but this was not a big deal because I was not going to pick it up until the end of the day.

Service was well I had my car towed to the dealership and it took them a while to call me about my concern, I understand because I also work at a dealership, parts took a while as well I’m sure it was a special ordered part I called 5 days prior to receiving my vehicle and they said the part was in still took 5 days to get it done, what i am not happy about is when I recieved my vehicle the RO sheet says “complementary wash “ my vehicle was dirtier than when it came in had rubber sling all over my back bumper it was hard to take off and there was a yellow like substance by my wheels not sure if it was a liquid they used to clean, I would suggest telling them not to wash your car there.
I normally never leave bad reviews as I believe everything works out energetically but Id like to save someone time from visiting this place if theyre contemplating it. I was coming in to look at a Prius and by the time Id arrived it was sold..I understand their job is to sell and nothing more but a text wouldve been appreciated as we drove an hour to get there. An hour after leaving I received a text that it in fact hadnt sold and theyd hold it for me to view the following day. After a test drive and a chat we were ready to buy, wed also had received a buy now no finance price online through TrueCar. As it turns out they do not honor their offers and force an almost 1,000 dollar Hyundai Care Package onto even used vehicles. The general vibe of the place is they will try to squeeze whatever money from you that they can. This is also the same dealership that sold my step dad a car with unfixed recalls on it whose engine had to be replaced. Apparently the sale wasnt meant to take place..but the guy who sold it still works thereWe found a lovely Prius at a family owned dealership the same day. Take your money somewhere itll be valued

Helpful, attentive, answered all of my questions, entertained all of my scenarios etc. Financing didnt try and sell me the usual pile of extended under the sun!! Listen, my buying experience was comfortable, easy and fast. They were super nice, courteous over all extremely professional and friendly/kind.
As soon as I pulled up for my appointment I was greeted at my car and the staff quickly got my car into the bay for service. A Lyft was ordered to take me home while my car was worked on. The honesty of the mechanics was refreshing. We believed our repair would be quite expensive but it ended up being a minor issue.
Dillon is consistently friendly, kind, and helpful with my service requests. My oil change was completed in less than the quoted time as well.
Craig and Desiree are by far the best of the best at Sterling McCall Hyundai service department. Right after the storm I noticed I needed to get my car serviced. Brought it in Saturday at 2:30 pm and would have gotten it back at 5 pm the same day but chose to come back to grab it the next day (Sunday). Because of the storm the service department was open on a Sunday and gosh was it a blessing. When you go in ask for Craig! He’s fantastic! And super on top of your vehicle needs. Thank you Craig and Desiree for making sure my car is safe to drive with my family. You guys rock!
