Mike was very helpful when I brought in my car and arranged a rental for me. It took a week to get my car back, but that was due to no part and having to wait for part to be delivered. I understand that due to the supply issues everyone is facing right now. My only complaint is the lack of communication and no one calling back when a message is left or answering the phone. It was all cleared up when I talked to Mike and I now have a business card with a cellnumber. This was my first visit to their service department since my car was bought a year ago. I’ll continue to give them my business.

My experience purchasing a car from Sterling McCall Hyundai was a nightmare. Due to lack of management, unprofessional and incompetent salesmen, made for an unforgettable experience. The keys to the car I was supposed to look at were missing for hours and when they could not be found, it dawned on them to finally make one. Another car from their other location, which was less expensive was to arrive thirty minutes after the salesman had said that it was on its way. Having waited hours for the car to arrive, I was notified that it would not be allowed to leave the dealership, with no reason given. It sounds like bait and switch to me. Since I was tired of this reprehensible behavior, I purchased the car that was originally missing the keys, as that was the only choice I had, even though I was interested in looking at the other car. I was at the dealership at 10:00 am in the morning and left in the evening. After another issue with insuring the car occurred, I finally left the dealership. When arriving home I noticed a deep scratch and dent on the passenger side of the car, which was not there before. I immediately tried to contact the salesman, notifying him of the damage and also an unusual noise in the engine compartment. The salesman did not return the call. Obviously a lack of concern and communication. For me to wait an entire day and to go through what I did without an apology is reprehensible. I definitely would not recommend this dealership to anyone. I went to three other dealers and was told that the car I purchased was overpriced and that the retail price of the car was between $7,300.00 and $7,900.00. The cars purchase price was $10,788.33. A little excessive. When I spoke to a used car manager at a dealership owned by Sterling McCall about my experience, he apologized and told me he does not deal with Sterling McCall Hyundai because of the difficulties he has had with their used car department and their lack of communication. If this is how they treat their customers, they should be ashamed. To give them one star, is one star too many. I dont know if these positive reviews are fabricated, but I would recommend anyone wanting to purchase a car from them, to go elsewhere to avoid the aggravation and inflated cost of a car.
I had the most amazing experience from the time I walked into the building ( Cody made me feel welcome ) to end of the process. Everyone was professional and courteous. Had a great experience but from Carlos! The only thing I would say is that when we sat down to purchase our used car the price listed was not what they would end up charging us. They had all these extras added on after the price like tinted windows and all weather mats, which we wanted anyways. But it was an up charge we weren’t aware of. Other than that process was easy and simple.
Shout out to Lisa Priest at Sterling McCall Hyundai in Houston. She was fantastic, transparent, and honest! Our family buys a new car every 3 years and this is the 1st time no “games” were played at the dealership. This is the only Hyundai dealership in Houston, TX selling Palisades at MSRP with no extra B.S. fees. Trust me, I’ve called, emailed, and set foot in about 10 places. This is how car buying should be. I never write reviews, but IMHO Lisa is a diamond in the rough. Contact Lisa, if you want an easy car buying process.
I have been having a reoccurring issue with my headlights flashing off and on, and even turning on when the car is powered off. The 1st time I took the car to the dealership for the issue, they replaced a part. I returned the car to the dealership about a month ago because my front and rear lights were on, and my car was not on; however, I did have the light switch on AUTO. They had my car for several days and did not follow up with me until I called them and went up there on day 4. Today, the same thing happened and my battery is drained. I will have to pay to get the car jumped and take it back to the dealership. It is a very uncomfortable feeling to not have reliable transportation. There should be an option for zero stars, if your issue was not resolved.
The service department identified the problem with my car and fixed it to my satisfaction. The service rep, Glen, explained the recommended service repairs and estimated costs and advised me what should be done. I also liked that it was easy to set up an appointment on a date and time of my choosing.
I first made an appointment to get several items addressed on my 2020 Kona including a recall notice for a possible piston slap issue. I called and made an appointment and then called the day before to check on the projected time they would have the car. I had to call multiple times and ask for the same information and was told I would get a call from a service person. That did not happen so the morning of the appointment I called in and canceled because I had no idea what kind of arrangements I needed to make for the time they would have the car. Within 15 minutes, I had a phone call from a service person who did in fact answer my simple question. I then reappointed to get the work done. They completed all of what I wanted done in a very short period of time except the oil change and lube. I was told I was being wasteful with my car and that the oil and mechanics of the car were made to go much further than the 3000 miles I usually change my oil. I did not argue with the service person but asked them to at least check it for compliance. I am a cautious person when it comes to my cars. I take excellent care of them, hence the reason why my daughter is driving a 22 year old car that I used to own and works very well yet. The service person indicated that the oil change was not needed. I hope that was a good decision on my part. The car was washed and very clean on outside when I picked it up, there was a young man present to bring the car right to me and was very respectful in opening doors to go in and out of the building. I am not a female who does not know anything about cars as I grew up in a big car dealership family. I know something about customer service also and I think that they did go a respectable mile in working on that. Thank you

We purchased a certified pre owned 2020 Palisade from here and since the night we took it home we have had nothing but issues. We have had this vehicle less than 2 weeks and it has been in the shop for 3 days. We have been stranded in it, multiple issues found with the vehicle and we are getting the run around from management. A rental car has yet to be offered although we have been without a car for 3 days, radio is back ordered without a known date to come in. Heated seats still not fixed. How can you purchase a certified vehicle and it have to go through all sorts of tests and it have this many issues? As a customer we are not happy with the management.

I called Sterling McCall Hyundai at 8:50am on Friday July 9, 2021 after having what was the most horrible customer service I’ve EVER had at Ron Carter Hyundai! The first person I spoke with was Cody! He was super friendly and his personality was so inviting. He answered all my questions and if he didn’t know the answer he placed me on hold while he got the answer for me. He went above and beyond to NOT waste my time. He handled everything he could over the phone so when I came in I only had to test drive, give a few documents, and meet with finance! When I got there Cody was assisting with another customer but he introduced himself and apologized that he was busy but explained that Eddy would be more than happy to help. Eddy was such a delight! I have the most talkative and inquisitive son. Eddy was so friendly with myself and showed the same respect to my 7 year old. He accommodated us when we test drove so we wouldn’t have to break down my son’s wheelchair and he engaged in conversation with my son the entire hour we were waiting. Shad the finance manager was so polite and friendly over the phone and held that same stance in his office. He moved swiftly to get papers signed. I absolutely love my vehicle and the customer service from all three employees was AMAZING! I couldn’t of asked for a better experience at a car dealership!
The service I received was good. I took my vehicle in on a Saturday afternoon and I was told no one would be able to look at it till Monday. I was not initially told the reason for the check engine light that came up on my vehicle. After I had left two voicemails requesting to know the reason I only got a voicemail telling me that the car was ready to be picked up by Wednesday. I did ask a service rep who explained to me the reason the check engine light came on. Pick up and payment went well.

This was the most stress-free car buying experience I have ever had by far. I live almost an hour away from this Sterling McCall location and Charles was nice enough to drop the car off at my home personally. That is what I call service! This is my first visit for my Hyundai Santa Fe servicing at Dterling McCall Hyundai. I had a great experience at the store. My vehicle was picked up at the appointed time. The service was quicker than the time given to me. The cost was also much lower than I expected. The service was very prompt. Though the place was about 35 miles from where I live, I will visit them again when I visit Houston again. I live in Ohio. The customer lounge was also well maintained.
Wanted to thank the service . I made an appointment for a Saturday for a recall .. got a confirmation but did not look closely at it .. when i showed up no appointment. The system i was told you pick but then will give you the first available for the day you request. I asked if they could do a oil change so it wasnt a lost cause . I then went to make new plans for the recall since my daughter is out of town with the suv. When they finished they informed me that they were able to do the recall and everything is done . It was nice that they were able to do that !!! Daved me time and peace of mind for my daughter.
Always very busy however, Always polite, courteous and accommodating. Service is better here than at any other Hyndai dealership Ive been to in the Houston metropolitan area.

I want to share my experience of Sterling McCall Hyundia the past few days.I called Saturday night and was transferred to Used Sales. I spoke with a salesman named Edward. I asked him if they had a specific car to which he said yes. I said that the car was priced very well and I wondered why it had not sold. I asked if it was a smokers car or had any major problems that caused it to still be there because as I stated, it was very aggressively priced. He told me that it was not a smokers car, that he had driven it and that it was very clean and a nice ride.I let him know that since I am out of town, I am going to pay someone to go there and do an independent inspection and as long as it comes back okay, I will fly in this weekend to purchase the vehicle. I will give a $500 deposit to hold the car as well, we agree.Monday morning I pay an independent inspector $220 to go and do a thorough inspection of the car. When he finishes he calls me to give me an initial reaction. The first thing he says is that when he opened the door, the smell of cigarettes was so strong, they must have left the windows up when they smoked. There were also cigarette holes in some of the interior of the car.At this point, I am already out, but wait, theres more... I wont bore you with the other multiple issues that the car had, but it is very irritating to throw away $220 to have a car inspected because the salesperson is a liar. All he had to say is I dont know about the car, but he flat out said it is not a smokers car. If he had said it was a smokers car, I would have been out at that point.So thank you Edward in Used Cars for making me waste $220 on a car that you either knew was not what you said it was and you lied about it, or you didnt know what it was and you lied about it. Either way, Thank you Sterling McCall for allowing your salespeople to just lie to potential customers.
Just bought a 2022 Tucson from them and the entire process was smooth and professional. They took care of me from the moment I walked through the door! I was a bit undecided initially but they were understanding and patient with me. My daughter went here a week ago and was priced $85 for a air filter which we bought at a local auto parts store for 15 which a monkey could replace in 2 minutes. Then they proceeded to tell her there was problems with her right rear caliper and it was going to cost her a $1,250 just to repair it and also breaks were going to be another couple of hundred. She proceeded to drive out to Utah and when she got there she went through a reputable neighborhood mechanic and had the break done at the cost of $300 and everything is like brand new and it was excessively overcharging on the part of Sterling Hyundai I believe they sent out to rob her if she was a young female figuring she didnt know nothing from nothing. I would give them the worst of reviews in the worst reputation do not trust this dealership. I intend to see how much further I can go with this complaint with Hyundai Motors I have all the documentation and paperwork to prove my case good luck to everyone out there!

I purchased a XTS from dealership telling me they had to do some work on car. Edward Martinez the sale person told me the work was done after 7 days knowing I would have bought the car back because it had a bad battery. Warning don’t buy a used car without checking everything out before purchase especially underneath the hood. They knew the battery needed to be changed. I will never go back to this dealership again. Don’t let Edward Martinez sale you anything he a Liar

If you have no problem waiting 2 hours for an oil change visit this dealership. The first time I went it was 90 minutes and I thought maybe they are a little behind so I tried them again and this time I had to demand my car back at the 2 hour mark. I emailed the general manager and he advised me that: “ An oil & filter change, tire rotation and multipoint inspection includes a wash and vacuum is typically a 2 hour turnaround …. “ Maybe I am old fashioned but I value time over saving $50 for an oil change.
Outstanding service from these folks. Bought from out of state and they were very proactive in getting info I needed as well as taking pics of the vehicle for me. Highly recommend them and would definitely buy from them again!

I came because of oil change advertise $19.19I was push to do extra work of $189.00. They told me they will use synthetic oil but on the sticker it was mentionned they served ordinary oil.I paid but was happy. It was not fair.

I cannot say enough good things about Trey! He met me on the lot (not heard of anymore), kept the conversation light and funny on the test drive and made the whole buying process simple and efficient. Definitely did not make me feel like he was selling me the car. Finance took longer than expected along with prep for the car, but Trey kept me informed and entertained while I waited. He even ensured that a few minor issues with the car were corrected even after I took delivery. Really, Trey made the whole experience excellent. Bought what I was looking for and Salesman Cody was the best Ive ever dealt with.. Very honest and explained how all other Genesis dealers were adding a 7000 to 15000 markup over the msrp taking advantage of and abusing customers due to COVID-19. I advise all to go see him. If there is a particular vehicle you want he can find it
Seemed very unorganized with the way they handled the whole process. I followed all the directions to put together a online purchase by setting up a test drive, finance pre-approval. But then get to dealership and car is not ready (spare tire on one wheel). They did say that they ordered a new tire, but A/C not working which they plan to fix at no charge. I still wanted the car. Now we had to wait for the finance person to complete the deal, that took nearly one hour just to sit down with that person, part of the reason I went online so I wouldnt have waste time just hanging around. Our salesperson was somewhat helpful but seemed like he didnt really care to make the sale or not since it was a used car. Still waiting for the car to be delivered, no one could tell us when it will happen. No follow up.

WORST DEALERSHIP AND CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER!I have been having issues with my Hyundai Sonata Hybrid and I contacted this particular dealership since it is closer to my residence. I contacted the Parts department but I had been transferred to the Service department. I was informed that the Parts department was closed and I would have to follow up the next business day. Today, I contacted the parts department to ask a question about my Hybrid Battery needing to be reprogrammed (this was information told to me by a mechanic, so I had been calling for the correct information). The guy who answered (by placing me on speaker phone), I explained to him if this is the correct department for this matter and his response was “the parts department?” I followed with a “Yes” and he let me know this is the department for that, maybe Services could help. I said “Okay”, assuming that I would be transferred to the Services department. Instead, I hear the same man on the phone laughing with a colleague about the fact that I called to get help and information on reprogramming my hybrid battery. I am unsure what was funny but he was TERRIBLE when it comes to customer service.I remember speaking with the same man on July 5th, when I called the Parts department in search for a particular part. He answered with me on speaker phone once again, he responses were as if I had been bothering him, he continued to sigh throughout the entire conversation, and his responses were very rude.In conclusion, I will be taking my Hyundai Sonata Hybrid back and getting another vehicle. I will no longer do business with Hyundai from this day forward. I will not recommend this company and/or dealership to anyone. Last but certainly not least, I will make sure that my family and friends are informed about this matter and that properly inform others of this matter as well. As a company, to have someone like this representing you all and disrespecting customers, it says a lot about your outlook on your customers.

Aaron worked with me to give me the deal I wanted. He listened to what I was looking for, and made sure I was happy when I made my purchase. Even when I went back to have something added to the car, the other staff was very attentive when Aaron was busy with another customer, but he made it a point to check on me as soon as he could. I would purchase another car from Aaron and this dealership again.
This place changed for the BETTER!! The service advisor I had was extremely professional and nice! Insanely sweet coffee machine also! This place definitely deserves a 5 star however I wish they had a shuttle service that took you to your destination and back. Waiting for 2 and a half hours isn’t ideal. Still good dealership for service.
Mike was great! He made sure I wasnt charged for anything I didnt need to have done to my car, covered the seats with plastic, and sent me a great Lyft home and back to the dealer. I will make sure I go to this location from now on. Thanks Mike.

I wasnt very happy with the overall experience, I was interested in purchasing a used truck but the salesman didnt get the vehicle I was interested in. Vehicle did not start because of lack of gas, so they had to send someone to a nearby convenience store. One thing I hate is to wait on people, when the gas catcher did get back the salesman took the vehicle for a test drive without me. So I waited longer, and waited, and waited. Just not a very positive experience for my family and me, especially driving all the way to Sterling McCall Hyundai from Deer Park. I hate to write bad reviews but I will never go back!
Came in with no appointment at 3:00 w my daughters Hyundai. They were clearly busy but they were very nice and found a way to squeeze in our car to evaluate. They were able to repair it and we were out by 5:30. They kept us up to date on the status throughout.
