Loved these guys for years. A fantastic selection of high quality, artistic and architectural lighting. Knowledgeable and helpful staff. I keep going back. I just wish I had a bigger house!

Im so glad I found this store! I was redoing my downstairs and needed to replace the fixtures. Marley Garner was able to find the perfect lighting fixtures for my space and within my budget. Couldnt have done it without her!! Would definitely recommend.

BEWARE! I took a chandelier home on approval and per company policy the store charges your credit card. When I returned the chandelier the same day they allegedly refunded my money but it did not go through. They called and I called back to correct the mistake, instead they charged me a second time for a total of $7,500. Had my credit card company not called me to correct the second mistake and I called them, I dont think they would have corrected it. They caused me to exceed my credit limit, affected my credit score (as my report was unfortunately sent on Sunday before they corrected it) and I couldnt use my credit card for almost two days while it processed for 3-5 days. Their flippant response was it was a mistake and get more credit. We cant all afford an additional $7,500 sitting on our credit card. One mistake maybe, but two is FRAUD. BE CAREFUL and take your business elsewhere. They dont have anything unique that you cant find cheaper elsewhere. Trust me when I say these are really awful people trying to take advantage of others. I wish there was more that I could do outside of posting a negative review. It is so frustrating when people treat others the way this company has treated me.I think the owners response speaks for itself. He is an incredibly arrogant and flippant man. The harm he caused me was huge and I encourage everyone to go look at his showroom and order online.

Very neat store with lighting options you wont find anywhere else. Their pricing is fair (typically for any store prices are the same or similar wherever you can find fixtures now) but their selection and help is excellent. We worked with Marley mostly.

This is the absolute best lighting store that I have ever shopped. The brands and styles they carry are truly the most unique and of the highest quality. The staff, and the owner Justin, make shopping here such a pleasant experience. I always find just what I need for my design business and for my clients. 5 stars out of 5.

This is one of the best lighting showrooms in Houston. Always my first (and usually only) stop when I need a fixture. The prices are competitive, and the staff is fabulous. There are no high pressure sales tactics and they are always willing to go that extra step to make sure that their customers are happy. LIGHT carries lines that can not be found anywhere else. I would recommend this shop to everyone who wants to purchase a unique fixture for their home or office.

As an interior designer, I am always wanting to use the newest, latest look for lighting. Justin has brought the boutique specialty store to Houston! I have taken two clients to his new store to date, and lights were selected and purchased for the two clients houses. What he carries and displays are lights that are very different than the usual contemporary fare, pieces that make a statement. All is priced at a net price to keep it simple for the designer and the consumer. Love the store!

Justin Woolf and LIGHT were one of the highLIGHTS of our renovation project. He and his staff were knowledgeable, personable, and quick to the rescue when we needed a substitution or addition or change. Oh, and did I mention that he has the best store in Houston? We love the design, courtesy of RD Architecture, and the hands-on, courtesy of Superior Exterior, but I never realized what a crucial part LIGHT plays in design. We purchased our recessed lights, fixtures and outlets (LeGrand - gorgeous!), specialty lighting, pendants, bath sconces, etc., and even our kitchen chairs (Masters) from Light. Light has a great selection of light fixtures, bulbs, and switching, as well as a very knowledgeable, helpful, and attentive staff. They offer price matching, some local delivery and installation services, and will assist with lighting design. They add new pieces to their showroom regularly and theres always something new to see when I visit. My line of work has had me visit lighting stores all over Houston and Light is now my go-to supplier.

LIGHT is one of the most beautiful stores in Houston considering merchandise, layout and presentation. Even if you are not planning to purchase, head over and be inspired! They have a wide range of beautiful ‘designer’ light fixtures, furniture pieces, etc.We enjoyed working with the people in the store. Justin, Betsy, Marley and everyone there was very accommodating and helpful with our needs. Our project was a lengthy one, replacing light fixtures/switches and whatever else. Whenever we needed their help, they were there! We are building a new home and I cant think Justin enough for his vision on how to light our home. Justin had extensive knowledge on how best to light up bathrooms, living rooms, exterior gardens with specific recommendations on what fixture would work.Top it off with a sign at the entrance that he matches internet pricing - and you know you can get great local service at the best possible price.If you have a large project - go with Justin - he is best!

I have never experienced worse customer service then I did when I spoke on the phone to the owner of this company, Justin Woolf.  Here is what happened: I ordered a chandelier on August 1st, I was told it would take 4-5 weeks but I received it on October 15th (11 weeks later). I am a reasonable person, I realize this is a custom order; therefore, I was patient and courteous every time I called to ask about it. At one point I asked if they offer any sort of compensation for the product taking so long (I was not demanding, just wondering) . . . and this is when I had the misfortune of speaking to the owner.  He was rude, disrespectful & dismissive. In so many words, I was told to deal with it or go somewhere else. I was stunned & speechless, I am a nice person and this attack came from nowhere.I really wanted to support a local business and an American made product but after experiencing his behavior I felt bad for giving him my business ... I sensed that he couldnt be bothered with me since I was not one of his high profile accounts (but this was the most I have ever spent on a light fixture, it was not cheap!)That being said, I will list a few positives: My chandelier is beautiful, the store itself is tasteful and the sales girls were courteous.  Its just upsetting that my entire experience was ruined based on the owners behavior. This is the first business review I have ever posted, needed to share my experience . . . he has lost my business!

Bought a light fixture two years ago that was broken inside. They ordered a new one. A year later I stopped in and was told they just got it in and would call me. That was a year ago. Poor service. Love the light itself.

Any questions are answered and he stands behind each product.
