I called first and got Edgar on the phone I told him what was wrong and he quoted me a price. I was overjoyed on having a quote because usually they don’t do that. So I sent my son with a vehicle and the original quote of $250 turned into $80 because the catalytic converter just had a crack in it and didn’t need to be replaced. Edgar is honest and honorable. Such a fine person deserves to have a thriving business. If you need mufflers or catalytic converter‘s I highly recommend this business. Edgar is the pride of the northside. Came to get some last minute exhaust modifications and Chris pointed out the mistakes that previous shops had done, corrected them and him and Chris completed the work requested. This shop is certainly passionate about what they do and it shows. Do yourself a favor and make the trip to get things done right the FIRST time!

Ive been getting work done here on my vehicles since the 90s. Their work is and customer service is top notch and their prices are simply unbeatable. To prove my point, I called a few other shops to get quotes for comparison and I was quoted $400-$500 more for the same job. I had my catalytic converter replaced at Car Van and was in and out in about 30 minutes. I challenge anyone to try to find the same level of professionalism and service from anywhere else and I can 100% sure that you wont! I wont trust my vehicles to anyone else but Car Van!

These guys worked hard to get my car up and running again today. Beyond impressed with their skill and attention to detail. They really went above and beyond and even fixed little things they found along the way to fixing the main gasket issue (which was caused by bad Walmart oil changes) Prices are reasonable too. Will be bringing my car back here for oil changes from here out.

UPDATE (01/26/2016) - The alignment done has proved to be so poor that all 4 tires now need to be replaced after only 5 months. Both front tires were worn down on the inner edge (and up the inner sidewall) all the way down to the belts due to excessive toe out, and my rears are worn down on the outer edge with excessive positive camber. So Im now having to replace 4 very expensive Michelin Pilot Super Sports (255/35-20 in front, 285/30-20 in rear) which have worn very unevenly due to the bad alignment. I got the tires 6 months before the alignment and they were wearing evenly. Now theyre trash. My previous set of Super Sports lasted over 2 years.ORIGINAL REVIEW: A friend who had them do an alignment on his Lexus recommended them and I was not disappointed. I went after work and got there at 4:30. They were just finishing up an alignment on another car when I arrived. I only had to wait about 10 minutes before my Jaguar was on the lift. The guys were very friendly and we talked cars for a bit while they worked on my alignment. They had no problem with me standing in the garage watching them work (which I like to do anyway). After about 30 minutes it was done. I paid $40 cash and was on my way!

These guys didnt service any vehicle of mine. They actually sold me a vehicle that needed more service than they told me. It was a black 2005 Mazda 6 v6. They told me that it only needed a new oil pan. Which was incorrect because it actually needed new gaskets.The leak was worse than what they said. To the point where the engine was ticking. (Which they didnt tell me about). They did scan the car for to see what the check engine light was about though. (However, that was upon my inquiry. They didnt tell me about it before I got there).The car stopped on me later that day due to a bad alternator connection.If they werent honest about the above, how honest are they with customers that they serve?

Mike is not to be trusted. This guy was paid to work on Mercedes CLK 430. Air suspension, motor work and body kit. After almost 2 years car is still not done. Mike has told multiple lies to multiple people. had to get Criminal Investigator involved just to find my car as he took it to someone elses shop. The car was found in pieces like it had been stripped. The radio, sound system, and cd changer missing.. speakers, missing. parts missing. The suspension work that should have been done 2 years ago still not done. suspension in pieces. the motor work not done. I paid 3K for parts and it appears not one part was replaced. Car sitting on blocks. I am trying to work out issue with CVT but Mike is not to be trusted. my car is ruined. and i have to wait basically another 5 to 6 months to get it back as they try to get the work done if possible. My Truck that they installed the air suspension in was done sloppy and leaks like a water hose.. i have to take it somewhere else to let them fix it. You see everytime they touch my vehicle they break something or one of the workers steal something out of my vehicle. Ive waited 1 month for them to replace a wheel that one of their workers bent while driving my damn truck. I still only have 3 wheels after dropping my truck off with 4 perfectly good wheels.. If i could post pictures i would. I will continue to post updates on this situation until it is resolved. anyone else that has been messed over by Mike can hit me up as my Attorney is about to crank up on them
