Do not take your vehicle there for repairs. They are the most incompetent repair shop I have ever experienced. They keep you car for weeks. It is return with missing parts. Loose parts. They don’t resolve issue and create more. It’s a waste of time and money. Ask for the mechanic’s credentials you probably will not get one. Just a bunch of unqualified handymen with no certifications.

Had long tube headers installed on my 370z nismo here, no easy task. These guys are experts at what they do AND have the best prices.They take their time doing it right, they dont rush the job to bill you quick.I highly recommend Tex-Star.

First off, we happened upon this shop while trying to get my AC on my truck fixed. The shop we usually use was backed up and in this summer heat we were not willing to wait for them to fix it. So we went down the street to Tex star and they were able to do it that day. My truck turned out great. The air is ice cold and they were very helpful that time around. They did such a good job that we brought our car in a week later to get the brakes fixed, thats when things didnt work out so well. We dropped the car off, (literally the only thing wrong with it was sqeeky breaks) an hour later they called us to pick it up. As my husband started to drive it home, a few lights came on the dash. One regarding the ABS breaks. So he took it right back and asked what happened. They couldnt figure it out so they sent him to another shop that they knew. So he took it to this other place. They guy confirmed that a sensor was broken and it would cost us an extra $150 to fix. Tex star tried to argue that we must have broken it before we came in. (Both the sensor and the button to reset it). A brake related sensor being broke right after they changed the brakes, you can do the math. But no apology was given and no offer to help fix the mistake they made. I have had mechanics try to sell me something I didnt need or even misdiagnose an issue, but never have I received a car in worse shape than when I brought it in to a shop. And their reaction to it was pretty rude and pathetic as far as customer service goes. Safe to say we will not return nor will we have their friends shop make money out of this situation either.

They like to mess w.your o2 sensors when they see youre gonna need an inspection.
