I’ve never met an auto mechanic that was more friendly than David and his crew. Hes a man who knows what he’s doing, he’s very honest about his work, and provides super affordable prices for any of your cars issues. If he can’t do something, he’s honest about it and will let you know what you need to do and where you need to go to do it. I had to change my catalytic converter and he did the labor for a very low price. Explained to me everything he’s doing and why it needs to be done. 100/10 definitely recommend this business! We need more mechanics like him!

Came in for a mid muffler delete and had them add an h-pipe w/ a pair of magnaflows in its place. The price and time to do the work was reasonable. The sound from the exhaust is as I would expect it to be. Awesome! Im thinking about coming back to switch out the rear resonators for a straight through mufflers.

When I pulled up to what I realized was the old location(Richmond and Hillcrof), I almost cried thinking that David closed down his shop( I was like Oh No 😭, after traveling from Pearland). I have been taking my old car to him for over 5 years and I feel comfortable going to his shop. Called this place at the last minute. They were willing to take me in and install my titanium axle back on the Camaro. Talked with me to clarify what I wanted done to my car exactly. Finished the job while having a packed shop in about an hour maybe even less than that. Made sure all the parts they didn’t use were put back into my car. Even asked if I wanted my old system. They also noticed my tires were low and filled them up for me. And the price was more than fair! I will always come here for any exhaust needs.

This place was a good experience. Customer Service was excellent. The work done was excellent. Plus I was recommended by Cliff at Pro Am Auto Accessories. That to me means its a place of integrity. Plus once my catalytic converter was replace they found an oxygen sensor with stripped wires. They immediately called me to show me before they started working on it. Since it was closing time when they got done they said I could bring them the sensor and they would not charge me to put it on. When I did bring it I wasnt even there 15 mins. Very grateful Beraca Muffler & Brakes exists. I was visiting Houston and suddenly I began hearing this extreme grinding sound coming from my brakes. I slowly drove to the nearest shop, which happened to be Beraca. David saw to my car almost immediately, kept me up to date on progress, and showed me the work once done. He made absolutely no attempt to fear monger or upsell. Everyone very friendly, professional, and down to earth. I was in and out in a few hours, only out a couple hundred bucks for new calibers and pads, and complete peace of mind. The quality service and transparency helped an unpleasant situation turn out not so bad.

David helped me out, explained the process and materials that will be used. I went there for cat and resonator delete, work looked good and the welds were neat. Spent a little more than what I thought it was going to be, but the quality looked good.

Went here yesterday to change my brake pads and rotors and basically ended up doing the brake flush and changing my exhaust, I wasn’t pressured to do it after seeing the great job they did with the brake I had to get the exhaust done, David made me feel very welcomed and was very honest, on top of that the price was very reasonable. Will definitely go back and recommend people here. Thank you so much David and my car does sounds great and not like a cheap amazon junk yard.

After looking over different businesses, this was the only one that helped me honestly. While other places diagnosed my car incorrectly, here they found out what was actually going on with my car and they found the fix. They have a nice office were you can wait peacefully.

Over priced ..avoid

I took my car here a couple of weeks ago to have an aftermarket exhaust and a cold air intake system installed and it was all done within 30 minutes and only cost me $200. This place is an excellent shop, top notch.

Spoke w David the manager and he was busy the previous day I had originally arrived at his shop needing some muffler work done and he asked if I could come back at 8:00 am the next morning and he could get my car taken care of then. I did. And he promptly got my car fixed quickly and I was finished up by 9:00 am. The reviews are real and well deserved! Affordable, honest and highly recommended. They do brakes and suspension as well. Definitely check these guys out.I wanted to edit this review to include an updated one from a visit I had today 01.15.2020. I had a very loud vibration coming from my muffler and took it to Beraca again after my initial positive visit. They took 30 minutes trying to identify where the vibration was emanating from and 3 technicians w flashlights were all actively on it. Turns out it was a loose bracket and they welded it back and the noise is no more. Great job guys. And super affordable too!

Have used Beraca for for years for exhaust work. Just recently had some work done and they are still the best.

Hands down one of the best experiences you can have in auto repair. David is up-front and downright honest. Took my car in to have cats replaced and had them additionally do my brakes (rear) and also fix a steering issue. Highly recommended!!!

Went in to have my mid mufflers deleted on my Charger SRT, and Im amazed by the results. David and his crew got me in and out in about an hour, which was exactly what he told me over the phone. Great muffler shop and one of the best experiences Ive had with a mechanic. I came in due to having my catalytic converters stolen off of my truck. David and his guys were able to get me truck fixed and back to normal for 1/4 of the price the dealer was quoting me.David also spent time going over everything they were planning on doing, the parts they would be ordering, and was very transparent about everything upfront. I really enjoyed this and when it came time to pay, there were no surprises about the price or quality of parts they had used.Beraca Muffler turned the bad experience of having my exhaust stolen into a convenient and easy process of getting my truck back on the road. David and the Beraca team did an excellent job installing an aftermarket axle back exhaust system on my car. They performed the work quickly and made sure to quality check the install (which resulted in adjustments) before handing the car back over. I couldnt be more pleased and plan to bring the car back for other routine maintenance going forward.

Didnt fix my car here but the experience with the owner Beraca is good enough for me to leave a positive review for him. My car has this smell inside and I had impression there is a problem with my exhaust system. Took the car there and Mr. Beraca spent about 30 minutes to check it and then walked me through front to the back. Ensured me that there is nothing wrong with the exhaust and gave me a suggestion on possible cause. This is an honest businessman and Im confident to take my car to his shop with any exhaust issues in the future.

I have been coming to Beraca Muffler and Brakes for the pass two years after obtaining my first car and I have experienced nothing but honest and exceptional service every time I go there. Im new to driving at a late age, 30+. Despite the fact that my father is a mechanic in my home country I know every little to nothing about cars so I was nervous about where to take it to get serviced. I was referred here to David, the owner by a friend. This man is hands down the most honest person Ive done business with in any capacity. He keeps me informed on everything, refers me to the right places, people and resources even down to saving money on repairs. You honestly cant ask for a more trustworthy mechanic. People with integrity like David are hard to come by. I truly think I owe him much more for his level of honestly and service quality.
