Usually my husband takes care of the maintenance of my vehicle but this time he didnt have a chance and I was off from work so I took my vehicle here for an alignment. I tend to ask a lot of questions beforehand to make sure I know whats being done and what the fee is going to be. The guy explained what the charge was going to be & the possibility if needed of an extra charge (if the screws break, how many are involved, and the cost of each screw). They make you sign paperwork before working on the vehicle (which is understandable as they need to ensure they will get paid). The waiting room is nice, clean, and cool with a tv (at a decent volume) to watch. I explained a different problem with the vehicle and they drove it around the block to see if they could figure it out, unfortunately its more a transmission problem so they told me they dont do it and recommended me to someone else. I saw and listened how they explained to other customers what was needed to their vehicles or what was done to their vehicles. Overall Im satisfied with their service, i would recommend them, and will be back again.

I’ve brought my Camaro here a year ago for a muffler delete (it’s a 2018 Camaro SS) and they did an amazing job! And they were nice to me as I was waiting for the job to be done. I haven’t had any issues with my Camaro at all, no exhaust leaks, no anything. I also brought my Corvette here and they also did an excellent job here installing my axle back muffler!

Do not waste your money coming to this place.Why is this place still in business? They don’t know what they are doing, they charged me in advance more than $600 and they kept my car for weeks to “fix” the ac issue it had. They didn’t fix anything, they actually returned the car with problems it didn’t have before. I ended up taking the car to another shop where they charged me less than $200 kept the car for only a couple of days and returned it to me working perfectly fine. So yeah, save your money, go to another shop.

Hadnt been here since I was younger and my parents would bring their vehicles here. Came in for a wheel alignment and after so many years they still provide great professional service in a friendly family business atmosphere.Z, my wait was a pleasant one visiting with you and your Mom and it was good to see your Dad again too.Thanks again!

I have a 1977 Chrysler Cordoba and my goal is to get it back in tip top shape.After taking it to several other shops and dealing with them taking me in the wrong direction, I took it to Z automotive and now Im headed in the right direction.The Father, the son, and the grandson(GREAT TEAMWORK)looked it over and advised me to take my time and get it back in tip top shape. Im happy with their work and concern about helping me reach my goal with this vehicle.I still have a little ways to go but Im positive I will reach my goal with this vehicle at Z automotive. 😁😃😂

I called on a Friday afternoon to inquire about getting my AC fixed and Z was ready and willing to do whatever he could to help. I brought my car in at 9:30 the next morning and it was out blowing ice cold air by 2 that SAME afternoon. Thats not even the best part. He saved me from paying $400 more then I needed to. I will definitely be going back to him if I need any other work on my car!

Great service at amazing prices! Was given a price of $2000 for a repair at another shop and Z’s got it done for less than half that price. What other shop owner reaches out to you the day after (a Saturday) to make sure you’re happy with the repair? Z does! Won’t take my vehicles anywhere else!

Just give them your money for free and take your car because if you leave it, they will mess it up more and keep it there forever. Professional thieves? I think so.

Classy lil home town shop. Stopped in for the alignment special and though it had just ended they still treated me fair right from the start. No bs sales tactics. They gave me just what I needed at a damn good price within 5 minutes of getting there and the alignment was done in like 20 minutes! I strongly recommend this place!

Went in to get my AC checked and was told my compressor was bad and that I needed a whole ac kit and it would cost $750 for them to do it thats $500 in labor because the part its self is $227. I found another shop to do it and they only want 170 in labor just saved $350.(post update) the new shop I took my car too informed me that there was no freon in my account system but I had paid z muffler $75 for a ac check just to leave my system empty after I had already tried to charge it myself but it wouldnt take before bringing it to them

Ok, so I took my car to the dealership after this guys had done a wheel alignment and left my truck worse than it was. The Nissan dealership charged me 100 dollars, redid the alignment and left it perfectly aligned. This guys charged me 100 dollars and wanted to charge mean additional 150 to finish one alignment, but told me to come back another day to finish the job. Truly, if you value your money and care for your car DO NOT bring it here. Youll just be throwing your money away. Trust them only to change like a screw or work that requires no logic. Other than that RUN AWAY from this place.

This place needs to be shut down! I just got robbed, I went in for a alignment, and pick up my car 30m later got on the freeway and my vehicle ran worst then when I dropped it off, not to mention my traction control light was flashing, never seen that light flash on my vehicle! They will be having some calls from the better business bureau!

Do not take your car to this place!!! They do not know what they are doing!!! I took my car here due to my car over heating. Once they did a diagnostic they informed me that my catalytic converter need to be changed and that’s why my car was over heating. After paying over 1500 dollars my car was still overheating and I had more problems than I had before! These people are scam mechanics and they need to be shut down!!!

IF LOOKING TO PURCHASE A CAR FROM CARLOS VARELA & Zs AUTO, PLEASE READThis is going to be an objective review of an experience I had buying a car from Carlos. I replied to an ad I found on Craiglist. I came from a different state to purchase this car. Since I needed to drive it back home, I mistakenly avoided paying $200 for a prepurchase inspection at a reputable mechanic in the area. Since they are a dealer/shop, I assumed they ran emissions, etc. I was mistaken. Upon driving it home, the CEL came on. Car wouldnt pass emissions in my state. Carlos sold me a lemon. I reached back out to Carlos and confronted him about it. He immediately changed his tone and began stringing together an incoherent string of bros and pounding his chest. It was embarrassing.In terms of my specific car, which I sold after 8 months - Carlos had his mechanic piece together a no-start, no-run engine car they bought at auction, which they told me. Again the mistake was not getting the PPI. I am going to avoid insults here, but when I brought it to my mechanic, he said it was obvious the mechanic did not know what he was doing. Zs M.O. is to buy cars cheap at auction, haphazardly piece them together, not run an emission, and circumvent the lemon law by selling used. This effectively renders the purchaser dead in the water when we cannot get the car to pass emissions. If youre in a different state, its that much worse.I bought this car for a family member, which made it all the more disappointing. At this point, it isnt about the money. Its about the young guys interested in cars that save up enough for an old model sports car, buy it through Carlos on the cheap and then get a lemoned money pit that ruins a budding car enthusiasts love with cars. Carlos Varela is your stereotypical car salesman looking to turn a quick buck at the expense of others. My advice is to get a PPI at a reputable mechanic in the area before buying OR spend a little more money buying private from an enthusiast.Happy Driving-A friendly fellow car enthusiast

Horrible,They claimed to fix my overheating problem. Charged me almost 200 bucks. Drove it down the road, everything was fine. Drove it to work and the temperature started to rise. The mechanic claimed he knew what it was, and even tested it....why he did not fix it is beyond me. Dont go here

Brought my truck in for an alignment leave go down the street not even three lights the tire light comes on. Goes back he tells me I need to go to Beasley Tires to get the reset button set. I told him why should I go spend money some where else when they can fix it here. He lied and said he didnt have the machine to reset the tire button. A customer sitting in there said his brother works at Beasley Tires. So I put it together hes trying to let his brother make money off me. He reset my button n Im out. I will NOT RECOMMEND this shop to NOBODY......

Did a horrible job on my exhaust. Would not ever recommend anyone to these people. Drove my car with no exhaust to another shop without my consent. Never ever. Im suing for my money back no matter how long it takes!!!

Had my suspension checked as well as a test drive by Z himself all for just 20.00.

Crooks,replaced my entire exhaust, damaged my O2 sensors & said nothing.Drove 3 mins & light came on,took to mechanic & said sensors were bad.Once on lift you could see the sensors were mangled.Went back & they said the sensors were fine when I left.Over $350.00 in damages!
