Excellent service! Did maintenance on clarinet AFTER I had it serviced somewhere else cause it did not look right and it wasnt. H & H cleaned it up and looking great again. Thank you H & H!
The place might be small and out of place (location) a bit run down but they do good business great customer service directly to the point tell them what you need, what school and they deliver.... Highly recommended
Such a nice place with lovely and helpful staff. We rented (and returned) a clarinet for a school year, and it was such a streamlined process. They also sell (new and used) and repair a variety of musical instruments. Will certainly come again.
This is a really nice store! A good variety of instruments. The associates are very helpful and attentive. Friendly atmosphere....I will be back and have no problem driving to this establishment vs the music store close to my house!!

The collection agency they use (PRS) will threaten will jail time and continue to try to charge interest even once the instrument is returned. In a year when the kid wasnt even going to school and my hours were cut they still pursue more money from you. I told the guy at the store what they were doing and he said thats a cool story. Ive paid over 1000 dollars and given them the instrument back and they still say I owe 1300 dollars, all for a saxophone valued at 1200 dollars new.
Selection of accessories for Strings was kinda sparse, but they did have at least one choice for all the items I needed.Staff tried very hard to be helpful, but as friendly as they were, they didnt play Strings either. The gear will all work for its intended purposes though.

They messed up entering my credit card information in they’re system, I know this because the lady said that my cc info on the original contract that I myself filled out online is correct but it’s completely different on their end. So after not being able to autodraft the payment for three months they want me to pay all three payments plus current payment at one time because of their mistake... after trying to call them time after time after time to get something set up the rude lady that I’ve communicated with, Jan, hung up on me today.

When I first called, David was very helpful over the phone and remembered us when we arrived. Dan and the instrument repair staff were extremely nice and helpful. Very knowledgeable employees, not one question was left unanswered. The craftsmanship is AMAZING.. my kids tortured their instruments but the 1 man they have to restore all instruments is very good. Do EXPECT 2-4 WEEKS MINIMUM WAIT TIME.. BUT WELL WORTH THE WAIT...
Only place in town for instrument repairs. Great instruments but very pricey (worth the money though bc with instruments you kind if get what you pay for)! If you need anything other than an instrument or repairs, try finding it on Amazon or eBay FIRST. Youll thank me later!
Three kids, three different instruments rented through here and very happy with their rental and warranty and are nice grade instruments. Repairs done well and they have even replaced with newer versions. Better than the other place by Baybrook in my experience.
H&H has always delivered great service, in fact they go out of their way to help customers. Ive been using H&H for over 30 years and I would never think of using any other company.

Dropped off my sons saxophone 1 month ago to get fixed. They told me it would be ready in 4 days, went in 3 other times and it wasnt ready, the final time was the whole month and still was not ready. My husband and I just went with someone else. I get that they were booked but daaaang 1 month and no phone call to let me know anything. Never again with this place. ✌

The employees are very nice and they know their stuff. If I could give them 5 stars I would. But I gave them 3 because 1. They dont have much in stock...I ordered something on line in August from them...its October and I still havent received it, nor an update on its status! 2. I dropped off my childs instrument to get repaired. They said it would be 1-2 weeks and going on the 4th week I had to call. They said it would be ready for pick up that afternoon. I go pick it up on the weekend and its still not 100% complete. So things like that is why they get a 3.

Had an Alto Sax from High School that I had been meaning to get back into playing. The pads on it were gone. H&H fixed it right up & under the estimated cost to fix it @ that.I didnt really know what reeds to get. The associate helped me find the right type I wanted, while giving me his opinion on why he liked the certain reeds I bought.I will be using them from now on, for all my purchases & repairs!

This place is quite expensive but has extremely good quality products. Anything to do with instruments this will always be the place I got to get supplies and repairs done.
Very nice experience i have an audition tomorrow and my tuba had its rotor corks crack i called in i was late but they stayed open for me very nice service fixed everything in less than 30 minutes very satisfied
Just needed a guard screw and a few rods tightened on my sax. Was in and out quickly, good service, helped immediately. Didnt charge me for the screw.

They are ripping you off! They want to sell me a crappy used one for $1,000. Their brand new one for $3,000. A brand new beginner trumpet costs $1,250 from another retailer or $750 on Amazon. If you can go elsewhere. I wish I had. Even if you purchase a used one online you will still save money. $40 a month for 36 months for a very used instrument is $1,440 to lease it at H&H. You can get a used one for much less than that.

We rented my daughters clarinet here and have used them for four years but I will not be returning here for anything! A couple of times I have stopped by the store and they have closed before their posted closing time. Workers are still in the store and the lights are on but they would not acknowledge me. Today was the last time I will use them for anything. Any time we have dropped off our instrument to be worked on we never receive a call or email letting us know it is ready and it has never been ready for pick up when they said it would be ready. Go to Music and Arts!
We need a new set of string for a guitar, so took our guitar into the store with us. The guy sold us a package of strings. We brought them home and THEY WERE THE WRONG ONES! When my husband went to return them, they would not take them back. What a ripoff!!!! BE CAREFUL!

Dropped of sons trombone for repairs and a whole week went by without a callback as to repairs needed or cost. Called them twice after the week had past and each time the brass repair person was not onsite. Finally got a callback the second week they had the instrument as to the price and was told instrument would be done by the upcoming Saturday. I gave them a couple extra days and went to pick it up on the following Monday. Guess what, it wasnt ready, and of course everyone had an attitude problem because I was there. Had to wait another 30 minutes when they had almost 3 weeks to repair it. Never ever go here to have work done. Terrible service.

This place is the worst I took my sons instrument for a repair and they refused to give it back allegedly the other parent has not made the payment on time. They kept my sons instrument and I had to see him do not complete his music classes and to stop practicing the saxophone.It is sad that schools will let these kind of business practices take place with these type of company their best interest is money and not music and education.I’m disturbed that my son still talks about this and mentions this from time to time. A good business practice would be to come up with a resolution or a payment plan of such to try and resolve issues between parents going to financial times instead of letting the parent take the instrument in for repairs and them not trying to return it.This company make sales with the help of school but then hurt the children and steals back the instrument and all the money you paid into this instrument is gone. If my family and I took the time to soon and go to court it would cost more money and a waste of our time then just take our money somewhere else and buy an instrument at another store who operates in better terms. HISD, Pasadena ISD should stop doing business with this company
Nothing here other than band instruments and mainly brass instruments. No drums, no piano or stringed instruments for sale. Barely any musical scores on the racks. The place looked desolate and barren. Staff were unprofessional. Overheard them talking about a girl from a bar and how much he wanted to hit on her but didnt know how.

I felt profiled by the staff they wouldnt let me move in the store with out following me and asked me a whole bunch of question as soon as I walked in like trying to make sure that I was a musician or what I dont know I was just here to buy instruments and then when I left they locked the door. And this was like at 3pm in the afternoon on a Monday

ZERO ATARSFlutes left 6/29. I picked them up today 11/17 UNTOUCHED. I called two months ago for update and I was told there was no date on my ticket so my two instruments were NOT LOOKED AT. I called a month later to inquire if they are done and I was told they are not ready. I call today they said no one has gotten to them. I come to pick them up and I am told the delay was due to the hurricane because 2 inches of water came through and damaged instruments. They claimed if I was not called it means my instruments were not damaged. Repair man came out and spoke out to me from behind the counter without introduction saying do you play flute theres nothing wrong with them. UNPROFESSIONAL JUDGEMENTAL. To which I say, SUPPOSEDLY NO ONE LOOKED AT THEM FOR 5 MONTHS CARE TO EXPLAIN HOW YOU MADE THAT ASSESSMENT?UNPROFESSIONAL. POOR QUALITY SERVICE. Big waste of time.DO NOT GIVE BUSINESS. This was an order before the hurricane and well before the summer NO EXCUSES.
Good instruments, but horrible communication!!!! Was told I would be getting a statement in the mail each month but nvr ever did not once. Although I was getting charged for it 2.00 a month. But sure did receive a letter to sue. Called 5x to get that issue taken care of, each time being told I would receive it withing 2 weeks. Still have not gotten it. I do not have a credit card or debit card so the only way for me to pay would be to mail in a money order or check with the statement letter. And I was told that would be ok. So now Im being charged late fees the original prices of the instrument, loss and damage fee which was cancelled but I am still having to pay for it. I will nvr ever do business with them ever again. I would give no stars if I could. Because of bad communication although on my end I reached out multiple times to fix it but kept getting the run around.
