This is the only place where I take my instruments, period. Its gotten to a point where I dont even try out my guitars after a set-up is done. The action, intonation and overall feel is always on point after Dany has worked on them. Hes truly passionate about what he does and it shows in the quality of his work.

Brought my brand new Martin OM28 for a pickup install and a strap button install. Dany did a great job! The pickup works well and the strap button is perfectly placed.Dany took good care of my instrument. I will definitely bring more guitars here to get them worked on in the future.

My ten year old Fender Strat was in sore need of a proper setup. Finding a guitar tech you can trust is always a gamble, but the reviews looked promising. AND he is located very convenient to me. Glad I went with my gut. My guitar plays better than it ever has and work was done in half the estimated timeframe. I will be going back with a couple of my other guitars soon, including my 30+ year old Strat thats been sitting in limbo for too long.

I brought Danny a custom glorified parts-caster that I honestly had no idea what I was doing when putting it together. I explained the little bit that I knew from it giving me issues, and Danny did a fantastic job cleaning it up. He fixed the defective body, re-did the wiring, and got the action perfect. For a one off guitar that is definitely its own thing, he knew exactly what to do to complete my project. He was super communicative throughout the entire process. Would definitely use him again.

I had to go into the Granite shop next door to confirm where the shop was. If you park in the Texas Granite customer parking, Dany’s building is the smaller on to the right of the entrance of the granite showroom. I approached Dany on Facebook to get some work done on my Fender Select Series P Bass and an Fender American Elite Jazz V. Both had neck issues and the Jazz bass ended needed fret leveling. Dany was very communicative during the process and presented options for me. Ultimately we went with the standard fender setups. I thought I had done a good job doing the intonation and setup on my own but after playing them after he worked on them, I realize I should have been having a professional do my setups long ago. I feel his prices are fair and honest. I will definitely return for pickup swaps and have no doubt that Dany will execute the swap flawlessly. 100% satisfied with the way they’re playing and it has already brought out a new level of confidence in my playing. I brought in my Taylor acoustic guitar and Music Man StingRay bass guitar for a basic set up and Dany did a fantastic job on them. Recently took my ESP Ltd EC-1000 to Dany to have him install some Fishman Fluence modern humbucker pickups as well as perform a setup on the guitar. I had Dany do a complete professional setup and installed a Thornbucker pickup with the push-pull knob to split the pick. Wow, the quality of work that he provides is phenomenal! He work really puts him above any other luthier ever. Never once did I have to have to call for updates on my guitar because he provided great communication throughout the entire process. Dany is great. He’s worked on several of my guitars and his work is always top notch. He recently reshaped a neck on a Stratocaster style guitar for me and the results were outstanding. The guitar went from virtually unplayable to exactly what I hoped it would be. It was a tricky job and he was great. He’s also done setups for me on other guitars, straightened the neck on a telecaster and did a fret dress and it plays better than ever. He always explains what he is doing, sends helpful videos showing the work in progress and is super responsive. On top of that, his pricing is very fair. I won’t take my guitars to anyone else.

Used Berg Instrument Repair to change out a preamp in one of my basses. Dany was very knowledgeable and gave me confidence that it would be installed correctly. I wanted a specific layout of the preamp controls, which required custom wiring and he had no issues doing so. The turnaround time was Very quick and the new install was done cleanly! You can tell he takes his time routing all the wires to make sure they are not in the way of the pots. Very impressive. I am taking my maintenance needs to him from now on. He does it all!

My vintage 1965 Mosrite Ventures needed new frets. I had a personal consultation with BURG, we discussed my specific concerns, and I felt at ease with giving them my business. I brought Dany my 1970s silvertone tenor guitar that was in pretty rough shape. He replaced all the string pegs, cleaned it up, reset the action (which was terrible before), and reset the tuning pegs that were popping off. Super happy with the professionalism and quickness. Dany Anka at Burg has been nothing but phenomenal. This guy has worked on every single bass I have, and has not disappointed me. He has done everything from setups to complete electrical rewiring. On my Fender Jaguar, he did almost the impossible to make sure it was left right. And when I had issues with it, no questions asked he took it back and put in more time without charging me extra. He has all the tools and all the gear to do any job you need, and is amazing enough to build you an instrument or even wire your pedal board. I have recommended him to several musician friends of mine, and I recommend this amazing Luthier for your next instrument repair.
