Its Meijer its good but as far as store brand items Kroger is better at saving money but you sacrifice quality sometimes

A very large Meijer store. Rennovated within last 2 yrs. Not frequent visitor. Larger selection of products in all departments. Many products not seen in many other smaller stores. Well stocked. Clean. Efficient service. Easy to get help. Appears very well managed.

Beautiful store and well stocked. 3 lanes open on a busy Saturday at 1pm. Lines were horribly long. Self scan moved quickly for 20 or less items.

Gal left her department just to help me. Being disabled is not fun, however, one gal there; Makep dept. Midnight shift/ helped lil ol me with getting my boots on I purchased!!! Yes! Keep up the good friendly staff. ~Very Clean~

Store was busy but cashiers were working hard on the day I was there. The wait in line was not that long. The shelves were fairly stocked also. Overall the trip was a good one.

This is the only store we shop in..the produce is especially important to us...always fresh and plentiful. Friendly clerks..even during Covid. The checkout lines can get very long, however.

Howell meijers has come a LONG way!The store is clean, organized and the staff is always friendly. Since adding their self scan section and additional checkout ways, the shopping experience has become Bearable.I am glad to see them adding more eco friendly, organic and healthy things to their store. It shows, they do care what the people want and to have the fastest most effective experience.Today was the first day of trying the stores pickup and boy oh boy was it worth it. The cost is very reasonable and it was super convenient. Thank you to the staff who did the shopping & the super nice lady who loaded it into our car. You are appreciated. Thank you Howell meijers for upgrading and making the shopping experience fast & positive. Keep up the good work.

Today while shopping, with my cousin, we each got the pork chops, which were buy one get one for $1 on all pork chops. .Upon check out, they refused to give me, whom had a separate order, the deal, but joyfully gave the deal to my cousin (our self check outs were side by side),so I pay full price for each package of pork chops, and they refused to settle this for me after helping my cousin with no issues whatsoever.This is very misleading, unfair, and I am very displeased with the customer service I received today. How does one person qualify for THE SAME items I had also purchased? And I get NO DEAL and am told I am wrong by the staff ...Also bought a cream cheese that was in DISCOUNT COOLER, AND WAS CHARGED FULL PRICE.They also proceeded to tell me I was wrong, and I had to pay full price ... Why is it the discount cooler than?!

You need to have more cashier aisles open. Three is not enough on a busy Friday morning. My husband packed our groceries to help the cashier and she was great as usual. You change the shelves around too much.

This Meijer is set up very oddly. Maybe Im just not used to it, but Im always thrown off when I shop here. They do have an amazing beer/liquor selection, though. I was quite impressed with that whole area. I also like how they have two water filter machines for filling your own water jugs. Half the time!

Best store ever. We live in Canada. There is nothing close to Meijer in Canada

Has a nice easy set up and carries more than the Hartland store. Customer service is pretty good, emailed the store to get more weighing machines for fruits in different areas and they delivered! Wish Thomas bagels could be in stock more often but that’s from a distributor not Meijer. Milk is also about 50 cents cheaper per gallon than the Fenton Walmart! Always good employees at this location, always someone to assist which is great when you can’t find something. My favorite grocery store! 💖☀️

The beer and wine department are the best part about this store. Great craft selection that rotates frequently.Meat and produce have been lacking lately and I have started getting that in bulk from Costco. The cleaning department seems to always be lacking at this store as well.

This is my go-to-Meijer! Love the renovations and the added wine selection. It also looks much more modern.I dock one star because it doesn’t always have what I’m looking for. This may be due to being the only renovated one in the area but it’s happened a few times.Overall, nice store, friendly staff, fair prices!

I use to prefer Meier over Kroger. Is closer and I could go to the Meier website and see their weekly adds to see what I was interested in. Now Meier makes you sign in; why? Kroger’s website does not. Have been shopping at Kroger since.

Ok, I like self scanning kiosks and all, but there has to be a limit or rules. I used to wait at most 5 minutes to use one, but now you have a bunch of slow and confused boomers that are bad with technology hogging up every single kiosk. Not only are customers moving as slow as possible, but THEY HAVE ENTIRE SHOPPING CARTS FULL OF ITEMS. They take forever and Im losing my mind! Today I had 7 items and waited 15 minutes to use a dang kiosk.Come on Meijer...I absolutely despise Walmart but youre leaving me no choice here. Ive been a loyal customer for ages but this is downright awful. The efficiency is great in theory but the real world results are terrible. Also, I feel so bad for the staff that are constantly running around because customers lose all critical thinking skills when using them. They are always stressed out.

ALL Meijer Stores can go out of business. They are high priced, sell expired foods and now do not sell adult beverages after 11:00 p.m.Nothing would thrill me more than seeing Meijers go out of business. It happened to K Mart and Sears. It can happen to Meijers.

Howell Meijers has the best bakery, produce, and wine selections. However, they need to open up more cashier lines. Generally wait time is between 30 - 45 minutes wait. Love the shop and scan.

Not much produce again and whats there is not great. The deli counter lol the employees always seem angry at you.

Awesome selection of everything plus more. Had list of 3 things to get & ended up spending $200+ very gladly tho. Got Timberland boots, batteries, PBR underwear in a hideaway PBR look alike beer can & delicious MI cherries, plus a lot of stuff that we didnt know we needed until we saw it!! Thx Meijer for having anything & everything that made our day of shipping fun & stress free. A++

My recent experience with this store was real bad at their custom desk. I bought some items that have price tag right under that shelf, everything matched except the very small line printed 64oz, not the 48oz I bought. I realized that later after I went back to take a photo. Obviously this price tag was mistakenly placed under this item. Nobody at desk cared the wrong price tag even after I showed the picture, they kept saying I bought the wrong items that was not on sale. I was offended they made me feel like that was all my mistake. The 2nd staff who handled my refund was rude when I showed little impatience from waiting too long. I am disappointed to these staffs at Customer service. The only professional person at the desk is manager.

Lovely, all except for being about the very last people who are in the store with 300 to 500 dollars worth of stuff. Never really goes as smoothly as one would hope. Seeing as we are spending so much money and No one else is even in the store let alone the checkout isle........................

For some reason Meijer finds it hard to stock the Howell store, the Brighton store is managed much better in that regard. This is nothing new in the Howell store..

Hate the new store layout. It is broken up too much, where you have to back track to get certain items. Or worse the middle of the store instead of normal snake pattern. Also seemed like less selection of everything.

Would be great if they had more than 3 regular lanes open at noon. I have been standing in line to check out for about 20 minutes already. If you have over 20 items this is ridiculous.

Took 80+ friend out & had to stand in line for ages. Suggestion to have lane open for the elderly ONLY. (65 or 70+ye olds). At least benches near check out lines so they could sit & rest while waiting to be checked out!

The store itself is clean and they do their best to be stocked. However, they have only 4 cashiers on a Sunday and all are older. I waited 32 minutes to check out today. I was the 3rd person in line. This older female cashier was so slow it would have been comical if not for the fact all of us we losing so much time. They need to hire more cashiers or open more self services gor full carts not just 20 times

I shop here for groceries at least once a week. Nice graters, products and produce are more often in sock then out.

Was very impressed with all the groceries in stock and the ease of check out. The gentleman who helped me check out an item was helpful in getting through the line.I was very impressed with the layout of the store. It had been a while since I was in.I will definitely go back

I visited the Howell, Mi. Meijer on Tuesday April 12. My experience was less than spectacular. I got in line and upon checking out the cashier was very rude to boot. Teague, did not greet us in a friendly manner or any manner for that matter. Upon putting my items on the conveyor he proceeded to throw my items through the scanner and quickly slammed them into the bags. After paying (and not being told my total) he ripped the receipt out of the printer and essentially threw it at me. Im not sure why he was acting in that manner but I will be very complacent in ever visiting this particular meijer again.

If i could leave a zero star review i would. But google wont let me. I went shopping on 5/15/21 i was followed threw the store while getting stuff to change my oil. Went threw an actual lane with a person and paid cash not self check-out. As im walking out the alarm goes off. Guy runs up to me asking me to stop. Makes small talk about my oil than proceeds to walk away with my receipt and my one bag of items to see why it went off. Needless to say EVERYTHING was paid for and i dont like being accused of freaking stealing. I will not be going back to meijer after that. I get that its part of his job. But why did you walk away with my stuff and have a 2nd person walk up.

Slowest place ever! Managers need to go assist and help the employees to make the process faster. Lazy management and team leaders. 😴

I fail to get understand why businesses are so intimated by the few who refuse to wear masks. Walk into Howell store and the greeter was having a nice chat with a maskless individual. We need to get serious about boycotting because this area is downright scary. It was obvious by this persons choice of clothing he was looking for a fight. If I did not need to pick up a prescription I would have left. I have heard of recent instances where people were harassed in meijer stores for wearing a mask.this is not acceptable, they are the minority just louder.

The store is nice looking, but nothing is even close to where it was. So when you go just ask a worker there where to find the thing you need. They are very helpful, they even take you to it...oh the web site said they had it and the worker took me right to it.

Great selection, would make one small suggestion that the cat food aisle be stocked for those who are able to shop at night. Other than that, the employees are friendly, and are extremely helpful when you need to find an item.

Clean, well organized super store. Nicely laid out. Needed more registers open, to speed up checkout, but that was more to do with how busy it was (a week before Thanksgiving) than it had to do with short staffing.

The workers are nice but the lines are extremely long!!!

We were in the checkout line for 45 minutes. This is totally unacceptable. Hire some cashiers. Everyone was complaining, no one was listening. Our cashier was doing the best she could with what she had.

Wow love our Meijer!!! Newly remodeled and love the alcohol section, it’s huge with a great variety. The staff is great and the store is one of my favorites.

Store is clean, well stocked, and the staff is friendly. They just need more staff, I was in line for 34 minutes today and not at a prime shopping time.

Meijer Howell has been newly renovated. Has a great wine/liquor section, lots of chilled items and tons of variety. Always pleasant staff and plenty of check out lanes ope.

I love the location because of the convenience to where we live. However I went the night before Christmas Eve and they were multiple people without masks on, and I was disappointed to see a greeter not stopping them for not wearing a face covering. We won’t be back until everyone can follow the rules.

Relatively newer store with a good selection of groceries and merchandise at competitive prices. Helpful employees. Large well maintained parking lot for vehicles. My only complaint is that at busy times there is not enough cashiers causing long checkout lines!

The parking lot tends to have a section dedicated to questionable teenagers and their shenanagans I feel as if you should make some sort of regulation so they will not be allowed to just sit in their cars all day long.

Horrible experience. I waited in line for 10 mins and had to walk out because I had an appointment and couldnt wait any longer. Howell Meijer has 30 something lanes and today there was 3 lanes open thats all!! With 5 ppl waiting in each line. This happens to me every time I shop at Meijer unless I use the you scan.

I walked out. Went there to get bulbs for Christmas lights. They didnt have them,, No big deal. I continued to get some groceries. Went to check out and there was only one cashier open‐ other than the self scans which were all packed. It was 10 oclock on Saturday morning!! There were signs everywhere promoting social distancing but they had people lined up halfway down the store because the registers werent open. Stood there for about 10 minutes didnt move an inch parked my cart by the jewellery section and left.

Took bottles back here. Room was clean and all machines worked!

It was great! They had what I wanted and more.

I love this Meijer, is always clean, most are nice, some are not and think they dont owe an answer to your questions but for the most part staff is decent. By I like adding up my cart, bagging as I go paying with my watch Im out the door
