Cool coffee shop. We stopped by here on our 12 hour long drive to Chicago and felt like we were in the middle of nowhere and got really excited to see this cool shop.Really loved that you could buy plants in the store too.

Max makes the best Cortado around. It’s very hard to find a good Cortito up here in the Northeast area. Down to Miami Florida no problem. With one exception here at Hearthwood coffee roasters in Hudson. Michael has perfected the Cortito. It makes me want to come here every single day. The price is right too. $2.50 just like many places in Florida.This coffee shop has a beautiful interior with a mezzanine and outside seating. The people are friendly and welcoming. Just a great way to start your day.

This place is tucked in the back of a small retail area in Hudson. Charming and delicious, it is highly worth the very slight off the beaten path location. The coffee is delicious! Tried the Miel (honey) latte, which is a good blend of slight natural sweet with espresso. But lavender is very good as well. Small bakery selection of food, with typical prices, but still tasty. Check it out.

A delightful cup of coffee and what looked like a wonderful place to work. I plan on going back and working for a morning.

Coffee was very good, as was service. Was not overcrowded, but was busy. Quiet location with some outdoor seating. Just had a cold brew coffee, but will be going back to try more menu items. Would recommend to others.

Folks here are a delight! We were having lunch at The Fork and Knife next door and we asked to use the patio at Hartwood and they were wonderfully kind to allow us to do so. We got our afternoon pick me up from Hartwood after lunch and it was delicious! Thank you for a great experience today! Y’all made it so nice!

Love Heartwood! Such a bright yet relaxing atmosphere. Kind employees who know what they’re talking about. Great coffee; anything from a flavored iced latte to a pour over.Also, their baked goods are the BEST from any coffee shop that I’ve ever had. The cookies are absolutely incredible.

Love this place. Just had a Latte and the best breakfast sandwich I have ever had! The vibes are so positive and the service is awesome. Had a picnic at the outside table and the whole experience made my day!

Super nice employees and very knowledgeable! They have about 3-4 vegan treats as well to ho with a great cup of coffee ! Also they sell plants roasted brown sugar take a trip to heatwood coffee roasters for a nice time!

Wonderful coffee shop hidden away in a small shopping area just a couple blocks from downtown Hudson. Delicious coffee and pastries with a very comfortable ambiance. Our first visit and it wont be the last. I would recommend them most highly!!

Minus one star for cold, unwelcoming employees. Minus one star for not having raw sugar. How can you possibly not carry raw sugar. The employee there told me that they do not carry raw sugar so I didnt even look. Cold brew was excellent.

They have one of the best chai lattes in the area and this is where we always get our beans for coffee at home! Each roast weve gotten has been solid! I also love their avocado toast, but the past few times, the toast has been burnt.

Happened to stumble upon this place by accident. Very pleasant surprise! I was greeted by two very friendly baristas. After I told them I’d never been there before, I was excitedly shown the coffee and tea list. Ended up trying a special combination of coffee, chocolate, and cayenne pepper. It was spicy, flavorful, and delicious! Highly recommend checking this place out!

Amazing coffee. Im not into super bitter coffees, I prefer a softer smoother flavor and their Birdseye is my favorite! The smokey maple latte is out of this world!

The chai is made in house and is really great. I prefer it hot and with oat milk. The oat milk is Chobani, which I dont love because they use gums, so I hope they change this product in the future. The avocado toast was also very good, as were the baked goods. Friendly service!

Very nice quaint coffee shop. They make a great cappuccino or Cortana. The interior is quite lovely as they just renovated it. It has two levels with a balcony. There’s also outside seating. They usually have different pastries and cookies to choose from. They also have free Wi-Fi

Nice open area with plenty of light, seating for 30, and a good playlist in the background. Very helpful staff in helping to make my first visit decisions. The current medium roast blend makes a killer Americano. Very nice. The vegan cowboy cookie is a new favorite cookie (no vegan asterisk needed). Picked up a seasonal Evergreen blend to try at home. Looking forward to future visits.

Very nice shop, great employees, and amazing coffee. What more could you ask for? Ive only been able to make it here a handful of times since I live so far away, but everytime Ive went Ive been blown away by their coffee. I went around Christmas time a year or two ago and got their smoked brown sugar latte that tasted like a campfire (aka amazing). Literally have not stopped thinking about it! It was one of the best lattes I have ever had, hands down. If youre there during any other season, dont fret! Everything else they have to offer is just as tasty. Next time youre in town be sure to stop here for your coffee fix.

First time ever coming to this place and the people were so nice and inviting! Answered all my questions, even suggested the BEST pumpkin latte I’ve ever had. So, I’m definitely going to go back! ☺️☺️☺️

Their light (medium?) roast cold brew is amazing. And strong! Birds eye. I think they use it for their drip and maybe espresso too.

Baked goods are displayed in open air in front of customers and employees. When I walked in there were some customers without any masks ordering and standing two feet in front of the food. The baristas had masks covering mouths, but not noses, and were right over the pastries as they prepped drinks and talked to customers. This is a pretty small area and there were at least 10 people in there (all other customers fully masked), so I stood outside until a few groups walked out, including the unmasked group. Id expect some things to have changed so that the food for sale is not a few feet below random customers and your staff. Its disappointing that there isnt a zero tolerance mask policy enforced at checkout and around the food. Hopefully this feedback is taken as intended, because I do think your coffee is good and every visit have had really friendly baristas.

Best coffee shop in NE Ohio. Good people, and great drinks. The NOLA cold brew is heaven in a cup. Heartwoods single origin roasts are top notch too.

Cute coffee shop with fast service and friendly staff. The Hudson location is in a cute downtown area away from the road...so it feels like a hidden gem. The shop size is small so grab a seat when you can.

BOTTOM LINE : Selling more image than coffee, Heartwood is the place to go to show off your refined taste, but unfortunately the taste of Heartwood could use a little refinement.PRO : Above average coffee and drinks (hey, its not Starbucks at least!), and small bites that are unique from many coffee shops. The modern aesthetic is nice and trendy, albeit a bit cold in appearance.CON : Offerings are overpriced, but that helps to sell the refined image. Hit or miss on the staff. Some are quite nice and knowledgeable, some look bored and bothered. Music also varies with the barista, whereas a house playlist or station would be a more sensible plan.

I love this coffee shop! It can be a nice place to do some quiet work, as well as a great place for conversation! I highly recommend the Coffee Cherry Latte.

Heartwood never fails to impress. The coffee is of the highest quality and the staff are always friendly. Do yourself a favor and try the shaken mint cold brew!

Best coffee shop in CLE... especially the Hudson location. The coffee is lightly roasted offering a smooth vegetal mouth feel accompanied by a caramel finish. Just devine.

I take my daughter here often to enjoy a chai and a tartine as a snack together before her nap. The vibe is cozy, the baristas are so sweet, and the food is delicious. Their chai spice mixture is the best in the area and made in house. Coffee is skillfully brewed. So smooth and never over brewed with low acidicity. They offer local milk, almond milk, and oat milk. Small menu with great quality. Our new favorite spot. Just wish you guys were open later--especially in the winter!
