I really appreciate our Tru Value hardware store. They have everything the 2 big stores have and their prices are as good and a lot of their prices are lower. The best part is they are right here in Hudson! The employees are Always very knowledgeable and polite! Keep up the great work! Thank you

A wonderful locally owned and operated hardware store thats been supporting the local community for decades with the national selection of True Value Hardware. You can find a little bit 9f everything here to get your projects completed with plenty of friendly folks to help.So much easier to get what you need and back to your projects than those big box warehouses.

I seem to always find the canning supplies I need here at a fair price. Clerk even offered to take my purchase out to the car for me. Prices are fair with no gouging as I have seen at some retailers for canning supplies.

Truly a staple in this small town. They carry everything you need for almost any project or repair. From any bolt, screw, or fastener to plumbing, electrical, paint, tools they have it all

You need to remember this is a local neighborhood hardware store with limited space. So keep that in mind the next time you need highly specialized offerings. Its not Lowes or Home Depot but youd be surprised at what they do carry. Give it a try theres always someone there to answer your question you wont have to go on a search mission just to have a question answered.

Great service. We moved to Hudson at the end of Spring 2020. It is a two minute drive to this location so it is convenient. More importantly, every time I have gone shopping here looking for something specific, I am amazed that they have what I needed, considering their size versus the big box stores. Dont be fooled, the box stores dont always have the best prices!

Super friendly staff. I try to go to True Value before choosing a Home Depot or Lowes because you feel like a valuable customer upon entry. I have purchased many gallons of paint there, yard tools, bird food, filled propane tanks, patio chairs, etc... its a small store but they have so much, and the people really make the difference.

Today, I went into the store and the clerk (who is about 60 y.o) was wearing his face mask on his chin! There is a pandemic going on, there is a state wide mask mandate, there is notification by the store itself that customers are to wear masks. When I pointed out that a mask worn like he was wearing it does absolutely NO good, he indicated I was not to say anything about it. This store is ridiculous! When the pandemic started no one there made any effort to help mitigate the pandemic. I will NOT be doing business with Hudson True Value ever again. I am completely disgusted by both the attitude and the actions.

They have it all better then home depot and lowes.

I tried to get a key made there today, and the young man working there had a lousy attitude. After observing him trying to find the correct blank to cut my key, it became clear to me that not only was he rude, but also a novice. And chances were the duplicate key wouldnt work correctly. So, I said thanks but no thanks, and went to Lowes. Thank goodness they are close by.

Family run hardware store. Excellent customer service. Friendly, fast help, and stock pretty much anything I need. I always go here to find what I need before I look at the national chains. For a small store, their prices are quite good as well!

I have always had decent luck here....the folks running the store are helpful, and the selection of products is actually very good for the size store. One if the most useful items in the store is the nut and bolt racks...every odd but or bolt you will ever need...just a few ¢. I have had several items that I saved when other sellers said you have to buy a whole new item to get that part, it is special....simply walked into this store, and spent a few minutes, found the part, and was done...big $$$ saved.

Need something quick? This is the place to go. Big bonus is that they fill propane tanks which is always super convenient.

Small friendly place. Good place to get propane. Traffic can be tough at times.

I try to go here to buy most hardware related items. They are very knowledgeable and you would be surprised how many times I go to Lowes or Home Depot, not find the item and then go to True Value and find it. Landscaping Rakes as an example, I think they had 3 types, where HD had 1. Also, if you have questions, they know what they are talking about. Prices are often cheaper too. Cant figure that one out, but I obviously dont mind.
