Greet outfit to work with. Used this group for my move from Green Bay to Hudson WI. Over 300+ miles. Only used a half tank of gas on the 26 footer. Only 71 bucks to fill er up! Not bad at all. 400 to rent for 3 days. Great deal and rental is the way to go. Hire your own crew and save on moving. I did my whole move for 1000 across state. I had estimates for around 3000-4000 by moving companies.

So. Great vehicle and furniture dolly, but they didnt have the furniture pads that were part of the original reservation. And that added quite a bit of time and mileage to sort out. Ended up going to UHaul for the pads, so it all worked out, but the inconvenience was substantial. The reservation was made well in advance of the pick up, and Penske had time to call and email a couple of times to verify the day and time (though they also had screwed up the day, so that was good), but still couldnt sort out the pads, which were absolutely essential for the move.

Came down in price 800 bucks to match uhaul quote two days before my rental. Had trouble with water in the fuel 3 out a 5 days but sent service truck out right away all three times when I reached the destination for the night. Would rent from them again!

My friend made a reservation a month in advance for a 26 ft truck. The day came to pick up the truck and they didn’t have one. Now we have to get a truck from a different company last minute. Will never use Penske again. Horrible service.
