Michael and Dr Yeung were professional and very thoughtful..I needed new contacts and they were able to prescribe and fix my vision. Brianna was very professional as well..If you need anything eye related make an appointment at TSO Humble..

I always have a good experience here. Right now they are under construction but that doesn’t stop them from providing quality service.

Dr. Simon Yeung is ***amazing***!!! I didnt know I was running around in terrible contacts. I thought it was just my terrible eyesight. I put in the first contact and was amazed. I put in the second and was awestruck, just staring at things all over the office. I will be coming back. Im willing to drive 90 minutes. Hes an excellent optometrist!

This location was very clean!!! Everything was wiped down and clean for me. Dr. Simon Young explained everything to me and told me what would work best in a pair of glasses for me. Michael helped me pick out the perfect pair and was very knowledgeable about the different add ons for my glasses. Great location!

The doctor that helped me was great and patient with me. He was good at explaining his process and letting me know of any concerns. I was going to a different doctor but couldnt after changing insurances and was skeptical to go anywhere else since he was the one who found the problems in my eyes. However, the doctor at Texas State Optical made me feel very comfortable. They also have a lot of stylish frames at a lower cost than I expected. I was really nervous to go to the appointment because Ive been quarantined for months and I really cannot get sick due to being high risk. The techs made sure to wipe down all of the equipment and keep their distance. I had the male technician help me pick out the best glasses for my face and told him he was doing my boyfriends job since he couldnt come in with me, lol. He did a wonderful job and was honest, which I appreciated. :)

I love this dr! I have seen him since I first started wearing glasses in 2nd grade! His staff are also very kind and welcoming. I highly recommend this office for all your eye needs!

If I could give TSO-Humble 0 stars I would. I went in to them because my regular optometrist didnt have any openings for almost a month. The initial visit was not great but it wasnt horrible either. I was fitted for contacts and was told I was ordering a 1 year supply. When I went in to pick up the contacts almost 3 weeks later I asked for a copy of my prescription when I arrived. The receptionist told me I needed authorization from the optometrist to get a copy of my prescription & I said okay I would wait for it while I waited for my 1 year supply of contacts. When my contacts were brought out to me I was told I could only get a copy of my prescription for my glasses because already ordered a 1 year supply from them which was only 12 contacts! I then told them to give me a refund because 12 contacts are not enough for a year & I needed room for incidentals such as rips and loss. The staff tried to persuade me that 12 contacts were enough. About 10 minutes later a prescription for contacts was brought out to me but had REFILLS NOT AUTHORIZED written across the bottom! I told them this was the same as not even providing me with a copy of my prescription! The lady simply said well if someone fills it they do and if they dont then they just dont. I requested a full refund & told them I would get my 1 year supply from elsewhere! The lady assisting me went back inside. After about 20 minutes I was finally given a copy of my prescription! The only reason I can think of why this office doesnt want to provide you with a copy of your prescription is because they want to force you to purchase exclusively from them. This was my first and last time going here! TSO-HUMBLE is a rip-off!

Customer service is the worst. Called as they requested once I got there. Jennifer said some one would call me back in 10 to 15 mins. Appointment was at 11:20, 11:30 I walked to the door (maybe phone missing calls) Door was locked. Waited. Finally left. I have no patience any more for bad business practices.

This is my third year coming here for my annual eye check up. Customer service is great starting with Dr Yeung he shows you pictures of how your eyes look, which is amazing. I definitely recommend this place.

Friday September 26th 2020 took my mom in for an eye exam. We received a great price on glasses and service was very good.Today October 9th 2020 still no glasses so the turn around for some one really needing glasses is not good.

Initially I left this place 5 stars with a great comment about their service, until I found out it was all a front to reel me in and get my money.I waited patiently nearly a month for my glasses, I understand this pandemic has slowed things down so I didnt put up a fuss. I didnt appreciate the fact that I had to constantly call and check the status about my lenses that they received & had to send back to the lab. I felt that the communication is poor.Sooooo once my glasses made it in, I came to pick them up, they made me sit outside the door and try my frames on using the reflection of their STORE FRONT WINDOW tint as a mirror. The glare from the sun off their STORE FRONT windows blinded me so it made it hard to determine if I liked the feel of my new frames, plus the sun was beating down on my back i just wanted to hurry up and get back in my car. I had my mask on, so I didnt understand why I couldnt come in and get treated like a valued customer. I made it there at 9:05am it wasnt a lot of customers their.

This place was excellent. The doctor was very friendly and hands on. He really explained my eye conditions very well. The selection of glasses were super cute. And the nurses were very helpful with any questions or concerns I had.

I was able to get a Sam day appointment for an eye exam at this location. The staff was friendly, knowledgeable, and extremely helpful. I saw Dr. Yeung and he was awesome. He provided me with information on my eye health and how to avoid pitfalls at work while on the computer. Highly recommend!

My doctor was extremely thorough on his diagnosis as to my eye problem. He was very detailed in order for me to understand why I had pressure around my eye. I would highly recommend Doctor John if they have any type of trauma to the eye area by all means. The staff was very friendly.
