It is not everyday especially in our current climate that you find someone that just gets it. Amy was awesome, the young lady infringe of me in line broke down in tears instead of ignoring it she shared a few kind words and had her laughing before she left. She then gave stickers to my son (this has never happened before) I asked if the location is doing it for the for Halloween and she said no she does “just to make the kids smile”. Amy gets it customer service is key to any organization the world needs more people like her in it!

The produce section is so large its like a Mini Farmers Market. Each Department has a wide array of products from which to choose. The store is clean and well organized. The Staff is friendly and helpful!

Clean grocery store with staff that are willing to help.Went in for a couple of items on sale. BBQ Ribs and some shrimp for the Superbowl. Both items were empty from the shelves.No problem, butcher stops what he was doing and goes in back to get more. Comes back with several slabs of ribs and a cart with more shrimp.Also love that the bakery had a sense of humor about todays game... poking a little fun at Tom Brady and the Patriots. During the pandemic... Food Lion is the only store open til 11pm. We gotten so used to have a 24hr or even a later closing on some stores, that your options are slimmer. Adjustments have had to become accepted. Thank you staying open, so that I can always make my last minute ice cream dash!!!

What I like about this store and Food Lion in general is that their produce is always super fresh. Go to Harris Teeter and see their wrinkly jalapenos and tomatoes. Also, Food Lion carries southern staples that other food stores dont carry. I am referring to Star chilli and slaw. As well as an ample supply of livermush. They also carry grits with bacon in it. Food Lion rocks in my opinion. This particular store is very clean.

After noticing that the counter where the tobacco products are sold, had a long line, I kindly asked the nearest associate is she could help me with getting what I needed & give it to another associate so I can wait in a shorter line. Instead of kindly helping, I received the nastiest attitude from a young lady who had no reason to be as nasty as she was. Due to her attitude, I kindly told her id wait in line rather than deal with her horrible customer service. I shop at this location weekly & its sucks that I have been treated that way. She even told me Dont try me as she walked off. I havent been back since & its really disheartening that my experiences shopping at my neighborhood food lion was ruined.

Consistently out of products even before the pandemic. Do yourself a favor and go to the store in Cornelius if you want to shop at Food Lion or go to Teeter or Publix over the bridge instead. Never had an issue with stock at those locations.

Excellent Food Lion great place to shop fantastic staff usual range of products plus a few extra ones. The only thing that I see is a negative and hence no 5 star rating is the traffic conditions to enter and leave the parking lot they all horrendous during busy periods making it almost impossible to make a left turn out. Hopefully something can be done in the near future to make this safer for us all.

Great produce, frozen food, meat selection. Very clean and good customer service and fantastic checkout assistance. Parking is convenient and prices are reasonable but could be cheaper with limited selection of shelve goods.

I regularly visit this location and am almost always greeted with respect and dignity by the staff employed here, unfortunately this staff could teach their management a lesson in customer service as I was not only threatened to be kicked out of the store for simply asking a question but was also mocked to my face as though my question was not valid. I have cashed the same type of check at this store on the same day consistently for several months and not until Robert Webber (if that is indeed his name) was the one handling my inquiry have I had any issue. I asked Robert why he insisted that he could not cash my check and instead of giving me a solid answer or showing me any level of respect he openly mocked me in front of other guests. This was by far the worst experience I have ever had in any business and I hope that this mans staff can teach him to better fulfill his role as a leader and role model for good customer service.

This is a regular Food Lion. Nothing special good or bad. I dont care for the setup/design of this store...maybe because I more frequently go to other Food Lions that are not setup like this one.Note there is a cold walk in beer cave in the back area. Experience was fine. Parking lot is a little odd but ya know its ok to get in and out of depending which way you are headed.

Whenever Im in a bad mood, Food Lion cheers me up. Beautiful displays, fair prices, polite customers, and genuinely caring staff. If only the whole world could feel as just right as my grocery store!

Love this place and the new remodel is over the top from what they used to be. Staff is very friendly and attentive.Management could use a few pointers on how to interact with customers...Some not all but if you are a manager..be approachable and smile already!!...store is very nice and well laid out...very few out of stocks...

Bought this sandwich on 2019- 1- 17 about 2pm. The chicken sandwichs are pretty good from the deli and I will often take time to go to a Food Lion to get something from their deli instead of fast food. Ive also come to expect these to be a little dried out (the bread and the chicken) about this time of day due to sitting under a heat lamp for a while. However the saving grace is the addition of the pickle to give it a little more taste. So why an employee would waste time to do it like this; I figure one of three reasons: They either dont know better, dont care or are being deliberate. Either way a little training and maybe even better pay might help.

Unbelievably pleased with the selection and customer service. Found so many niche items for my low carb, keto diet that I never would have expected at a smaller, reasonably priced grocery store. They had sugar free chocolate chips, several varieties of almond and coconut flour, and erythritol for baking. They also have a massive gluten-free section, and great prices on beautiful meat and veggies. I saved a whole lot versus the other name-brand stores in town, and much more than any of these same ingredients on Amazon. This location in particular is doing an excellent job.

The cashier was nice and the manager even pushed out my buggy because I had two buggies.

Wow, a Food Lion! I always shop at Food Lion. Not because I prefer it to other stores, but because I install fixtures in them. At lunch time, its really nice to have their extensive selection of things to eat. The deli always smells sooo good. The chicken is good.Food Lions all take NFC payments now, which is cool. Android Pay, Apply Pay, etc. Use the MVP card, itll save you some moneys.

One of my top choices to buy my groceries and have all that I like. This was a one time visit while in N.C.

Prices are average to high for different items this chain confuses me.For example there is no seafood counter.The twenty year olds that work here seem to care less about what their doing or dont know where items are.Then there is money order issue it has been down for weeks this a huge inconvenience to the customers who need them weekly. Harris Teeter and Publix is just down the road.
